Our beautiful riser-recliner chair was delivered on Monday, exactly as planned.
When visiting the shop we were treated very kindly and with great patience by Debs and two other ladies who gave us time and the benefit of their expertise to guide us through the range, showing us massive care and understanding. It was a most friendly and heartening experience.
On Monday, delivery day, we were contacted as expected and the chair was brought to us by the excellent Carl Pilkington and Damion. They were personable, kind, humorous and caring and gave us time to explain the controls. Fantastic representatives of the company.
We were very impressed with the standard of care and the smooth running of the whole process in dealing with hsl.

The delivery team Alex, Lec R & Damion were on time, they got straight down to work assembling the armchair, checking that it was set up properly and working properly. Explained the controls to me and all was complete in 20 minutes!

I purchased my hsl sofa and chair just after Christmas 2024. Because of house renovations I couldn’t have them delivered until 3rd July 2025. The patience that hsl had with storing my furniture has been fantastic. My journey started when I visited the Dewsbury branch. I spent quite a few hours with Diane going through chair and sofa styles and fabrics. Eventually I chose the Burrows 2.5 seater sofa and the Balmoral fireside chair. Diane is so friendly and helpful as was all the other staff in the showroom. The delivery guys, Alex, Lee R and Damion were very efficient, mindful to protect existing furniture and carefully attached all the legs onto my chair and sofa. They went above and beyond their duty throughout the whole delivery process and are an asset to hsl. I am so happy to have comfortable furniture from hsl and I highly recommend them

The. Company provided me such excellent information to help me with my purchase.. plus we wanted a bed the same as the one my wife purchased from you 6 years ago. You has looked after her so well I decided to return for a bed for myself. The ladies who served me had also served my wife with her purchase. They are so professional and experienced it was such a pleasure to be served by them. Your staff are so helpful and friendly their was no plushness like other companies and I know as I have recently taken well took to court their salesman lied to us during a purchase.

The whole experience was brilliant from start to finish. My mum was treated with care and attention at the Dewsbury store and the staff couldn’t have been more patient. Allowing her the time to try out the various beds and mattresses, with no pressure to buy. The support we had over the phone was great while we had to change the delivery details. The delivery experience itself was fantastic, Chris and Jamie explained the whole process and ensured my mum was happy with everything before getting everything set up how she wanted. They took time to make sure she knew how everything worked. The bed itself is of excellent quality too. Would highly recommend!!

The nice lady that dealt with me was very welcoming and polite. I was welcomed and felt comfortable, the lady had extensive knowledge of the seating. I will glady recommend HSL to my family and friends.

From the large car park to the coffee and biscuits to the excellent and friendly advice and measuring, the whole experience was a pleasant one. Customer service is so important and the Dewsbury branch have it perfectly. “Dewsbury 2” and her colleague made choosing the right suite for my room much easier than I feared.

My elderly mother had a visit at home for a new chair, from the minute Debs and Billy walked in my mum was relaxed and at ease. In my opinion they both went above and beyond trying to make her comfortable in the right chair for her, as the one they brought for her wasn’t right, but they proceeded to get different ones they had on the van for her to try. They weren’t pushy and let her take her time, once she made her decision they explained everything about the chair and about delivery. We couldn’t fault anything at all both Debs and Billy are a credit to the company, thank you so much and for the tea and ginger biscuits. Would highly recommend the company especially if you’re lucky enough to have Debs and Billy to assist x

Visited Dewsbury shop today and Debs was fantastic in the service and advice she gave to my Mum. We ordered a chair which was a good price and Debs spent time explaining the different styles to mum and advised her about chairs which would best suit her needs. A more personalised experience is so much better than trying to find a alternative on the internet. Thank you Debs for excellent customer Service - Mary

Chris and Terry arrived on time on Monday 2nd June to deliver and set up our new electric beds. They were highly efficient and very helpful. The job was done very quickly and we are delighted with our new beds!

Ian and Paul were so friendly and efficient, never seen a chair brought in so fast and they put it where I asked them to.

Getting a chair was important, and quickly. After telephoning the number seen in an advert on the back of the Radio Times (!), everything swung into action smoothly and pleasantly. Thank you to everyone, but especially Billy and Debbie and Liz who were helpfulness and kindness personified and sorted me out a chair quickly and with laughter along the way. You're the best!
