HSL Chairs - Norwich Reviews 

We bought a recliner chair for our 88 year old mother in December the company sent 2 people from the Norwich company we paid extra for arm chair covers and care kit we are now in April and we are still waiting for the items we have phoned every week since the purchase asking where are they we get the same response they are on their way the chair remote control for the chair has not worked every time this chair is supposed to be bran new it cost over £2,500 engineers came out to repair the chair replaced the control button and complete engine we have asked to speak to someone higher up in the company was told he would call in the next 24 hours but we never did hear from him despite constant phone calls and still waiting for customer service to sort this for a big company they feel nothing for their customer this is very stressful as they have already taken our money it’s very very sad when the family scraps together to buy this for her well being

The comfort specialist Hayley and Liam from HV Norfolk were very helpful and charming people who listened tio what was needed and reshowed us a couple of chairs that would suit our requirements. They were both friendly and helpful and we didn't feel under pressure to make a decision. However we decided on one of the chairs and they went through all decisions that I had to make. Highly recommended and would go to them again.

Great service in our home, good team performance so good we ordered suite there and then.

Very good demonstration in our own home. We both tried both specification of chair and found we both needed different sizes. They worked very well as a team and were able to answer all our questions so we ordered a suite there & then. Very happy with HSL so far.

Michele gave us a very friendly welcome, and advised on the best type of recliner to suit my wife, taking into account my wife’s health issues. My wife tried several chairs being guided by Michele’s extensive knowledge before deciding which one was the most comfortable for her. We were then given coffee and biscuits to give us time to make sure my wife was happy, and to review our purchase. It was a very pleasurable expirience visiting HSL Norwich.

We visited the HSL store in Norwich on 15th February 2026 and were warmly welcomed by Jane who demonstrated various rise & recliner chairs. She was very helpful throughout our purchase.

Both Gordon and Graham were very polite and efficient and answered any questions confidently. I would recommend HSL.

Discussions took place at a leisurely pace with no buying pressure and they were so helpful in answering any questions we raised.

Jane and Liam from Norwich gave my husband and I a home visit and we felt very comfortable with them. They were very knowledgeable and patient and not at all pushy. Their main concern was that we found the right furniture for our comfort and that that we felt that we were making the right choices for us. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. Very welcoming when went to view at store. Given plenty of time to size and try. Ergonomics explained, tea and biscuits provided. Ordering easy and efficient, phone call to remind us of balance date.
HSL rang to ask if it was convenient to delivery ahead of schedule and delivery men, Carl and Damion were polite, helpful, assembled furniture and placed in situ. Hope the furniture wears as good as the service.

The staff were very helpful and polite and made my dog and myself very welcome. Ian and Paul were friendly and explained everything at the delivery

Brilliant service from start to finish. Staff at Norwich showroom were great. Delivered by Carl and Lee today, who were able to deliver a day earlier than planned. Friendly fast and efficient.
