I really wanted to depend on your product the not being able to exclude WhatsApp and other social media apps and websites from the screenshots was a deal breaker for me

With that said, screenshot capture in the mobile app is not supported due to security measures put in place on mobile devices. Please take note that time tracked to mobile devices will appear as “Mobile Time” on the screenshots page.

Terrible experience

This experience with Hubstaff is terrible. First, there was a problem with Pay, and now there's an issue with verification. I had already received my payment, and now they are asking to verify my account again. I don't know what's going on. Fortunately, I have PayPal as an option, so I can request my pay to be sent there.

Moving to new S/W

Testing the software for 4 months now. Issues with QBO, technical support have not addressed the issue. We are moving to a new SW.

the 2 rating is because it does what its supposed to do, but you should increase the power user has over his data

employers have no right to force you to comply with screenshoting, following what websites you visited etc... but hubstaff gives them ability to force certain features and when you try to disable them on your end, timer wont start because for example screenshoting is REQUIRED

remove that option, give people way to choose what is shared

Employee privacy and empowerment are important to us. With every new feature, we work to ensure team members stay in control, that they understand how the software works, when it's running, and that they have access to all of their data.

This is why Hubstaff has the data collection consent feature. You are always in control of what information our desktop time-tracking apps collect. Once you’ve provided your consent, that's the only time you’ll be able to record time.

Please take note that if the organization you belong to requires this data and you disable those data types, you will not be able to track time to their projects. With that said, we also want to encourage you to start a conversation with your org owner about this.
