Chris and the team at Hulii provided such great service to me and my family, I was extremely happy with my phone, excellent condition, very fast delivery, and when I originally ordered the wrong device they made the exchange process so efficient and easy. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely be a regular customer!

Excellent condition refurbed phones with no dramas

Went looking for a couple of refurbished phones for my kids and took a punt on Hulii.

Ordered a couple of IPhone X phones in excellent condition at a great price. Couple of emails ‘we’ve got your order’ and a tracking one ‘they’re on their way’ which allowed me to track them via Aust Post and they arrived.

Phones came in two separate packages on same day. No original packaging but they were well wrapped in bubble wrap ( no chance of any damage) and came with a charging cable and sim key. Phones were in great shape - no scratches, no dings: excellent condition as promised and had obviously been refurbed (blue protective plastic over lenses).

Did the usual iPhone restore from iCloud after power on just as if they were new phones. All good no dramas. Very happy!

Very bad experience with customer service

I have had an unfortunately very negative experience with Hulii. I ordered an iPhone 6, and within the year started having glitching problems. The customer service was at first fairly good, and they swapped the defective phone with a new one. However, a few months later, the same issues started happening.

Since I contacted them about the issue, the customer service has been terrible. Two weeks went by with no reply after an intital exchange of 2-3 emails, and after an apology that the email had gone through a different server system, the same thing happened with the lack of responsiveness. I emailed them at least 4 times after this, and still no response. I am quite disappointed because I expected that after having two defective phones for the company, they would be more proactive in providing a solution, but instead they insisted I pay for international shipping in full (as I was no longer in a country in which they had operations) and simply stopped replying to my emails when I asked for a written guarantee of a refund instead of a trade in (I didn't want to try and go for three defective phones after having these bad experiences).

All in all, I would say if you get a decent phone from them, perhaps all is well. But if you have a slightly more complicated situation, don't expect to get your money back, and be prepared to wrestle with customer service for a long time. I am yet to get a reply now after almost another 2 weeks.

Excellent result

I would rate this supplier as Platinum class.
I purchased a used mobile from them on Ebay. Price was good, phone arrived very well packaged and quickly. A brand new charger and cable included. Phone was in excellent condition, even though the listing only said "Good". I fully tested the phone, and everything worked 100%
I would buy from them again.

Problem resolved

Had mixed experience with Hulii in the past, but new owners have taken over and are first class. Went above and beyond in resolving my son’s iPhone issue.
I have a 6 kids, and Hulli is an affordable way to build a fleet of phones that are quality. When your teenagers smash up their phones ( and they will) it won’t quite break the bank.

Iphone breaking when warranty expired

I bought an iphone 7 on the 30th of August 2019. It was great, functioning perfectly! I was very excited!! ... until the 1st of March. Suddenly the phone stopped working. I could neither make or receive calls, or use my mobile data...The Apple service that examined my phone told me that this is a hardware issue and that I need to buy a new phone because this one is broken. Isn’t it strange that this problem happened exactly after the expiry of the 6-month warranty? On top of that, no one replied to my email that I sent asking for clarifications about the warranty. Very disappointing and annoying. It’s a shame...and I had given 5 stars before...when I first got the phone...

The issue with this fault is that it can happen at any time and is not something our sellers can protect against. At the time of your purchase we were unaware of the situation and as a result we have stopped selling this model to avoid future disappointment. The poor rating is for customer services. I bought a phone 4 months ago and is still under warranty. There is a problem with the motherboard apparently.I have been trying to contact customer services but like previous reviews it says lines are busy constantly and I've left messages and emailed them twice with no reply.

Easy to buy and arrived quickly.

My son is really quite happy with his iPhone. I ordered online and it arrived the following week. I had some issues setting it up initially but the man was nice enough to talk it through with me. I would highly recommend as an affordable alternative for your kids. I will be back to buy one for my daughter in a few years. Thank you very much for your help.

Great service, delivery and product

Title says it all.

Refurbished phones had never ever really crossed my mind, and I have only ever brought things brand new. But then I stumbled across Hulii.com and the prices and quality were really just too decent to ignore.

Customer service was really good and answered all my questions, so I decided to bite the bullet and got an iphone x. It arrived without a hitch - I've been using it for a month now and zero problems.

Looks like new

Was a bit doubtful at first as I had some bad experience buying refurbished before on eBay. Very happy with phone so far, spoke to their CS and they walked me through different conditions. Went for perfect and phone looks and feels like new.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS HULII ... YOU WILL BE SCAMMED.
I made 2 separate purchases of iPhone 7 for my teenage children at the beginning of October. Neither of the phones worked properly. With both phones the microphone was muffled, so you couldn’t hear them properly and you can’t turn off the ringer on my daughters phone. I contacted Hulii by phone and spoke to Tom in Melbourne. It sounded like he was operating out of his kitchen and was eating at the time. He said he would email return slips for FedEx and I would get a refund when the phone was returned to the sender who was actually in Hong Kong. FedEx collected 1 phone and I have not heard from Hulii since. Their “Customer service” line in all the countries I called say “ no service agents are available”. I have not heard back from Tom in Melbourne since 2 October 2019. My emails have not been replied to. I now have only 1 phone that doesn’t work properly and am down nearly $1000.
My only option is to contact Consumer Affairs in Australia I suppose.
VERY disappointed.

Amazing online experience

I recently bought a Samsung s9 from Hulii like a lot of people it was the first time I have bought a reconditioned phone on line. I did read the reviews posted and decided to take a chance. I am so glad I did wow what amazing service quick delivery I opted for free delivery the phone arrived three days earlier than stated wonderfully packaged and in excellent condition I could not be happier. I will definitely be using them again when I need to and highly recommended to anyone considering a new phone. Many thanks to all the team for my amazing new phone

Not very reliable

However, when we tried to return it the instructions were a little vague and by phoning FedEx we had to ring 3 times before they actually got around to sending the email of what to do. Pick up in Albany WA is in a small shed.
