We had a roast dinner in Darley's pub…

We had a roast dinner in Darley's pub in hull ,which is part off hungry horse, theroast waste worst food I've ever had ,the meat was so fatty I couldn't cut let alone eat it the cauliflower was hard and the green beans had the woody stork in them ,making them in edible, so for my Sunday lunch I had mash potatoes and roast potatoes a a soggy Yorkshire pudding and see through gravy ,I told the young girl who took the plates away and waited for a repose, nothing, so I got up and told the management, he said ,he would tell the chief, no offer off money back ,or even a complementary drink ,so they wouldn't be getting any more money from us

Waters Edge. Nottingham …

We called for breakfast one Sunday morning while out on our bikes. Fantastic location beside the canal. We rode around to the seating area outside and found a table to order our food. We did the track and trace by the app but couldn’t order alcohol on the app so I went inside to place an order and was greeted by a person barking have you just ordered food which my reply was yes. She barked again well you should use the front entrance so we can track and trace you. I told her I’d done it by the app. Asked about the alcohol but they couldn’t serve till 11am, that explained why we was the only ones there. Ordered coffee via the app and got tea. It was replaced. Breakfast came with burnt toast and was replaced. Horrible service and wasn’t made welcome. Such a shame as it’s a great location. Won’t use again. Plank and Leggit at Sawley far better

Kebab & Curry

Ordered my meals in shop as I find it hard to talk on the phone service was great nothing too much trouble for them.I usually wait in the shop for the food but because of the covid19 virus there was a long wait of 45 minutes for the food in shop so I asked if it could be delivered & & they said it would be one hour 20 minutes but never had it delivered before . When the meals came the food was really nice and hot . My wife's kebab was the best one she ever had and my curry I had was one I have never had so nice before and the poppers are to die for five your lads in spice grill takeaway a big pay on back for services well done cheers Connie

just had Axmas lunch at the hungry…

just had Axmas lunch at the hungry horse at the Catherines inn for 14 adults & 3 children that was booked in October .Weston Super Mare . it was a complete dissaster. booked in at 1pm left at 5pm. only 1 person serving the whole bar and taking food orders our starters arrived at 2 30 and was sent back all cold !!! our starters arrived again but only 2 arrived.it is now 3 20 the service just got from bad to worse. even our desserts we served to to wrong table when our desserts arrived they had not even cleared our mains dishes.how can you run a place with only skeleton staff. we have been here for the last 3 years but this is defintely the last.

Change my opinion

I have been before and not had the best service but I've have gone tonight for festival meal and we had the best service . Staff was so good and friendly Owen is one staff to mention one lady o think was manger u was great. U was pleasant had a laugh with is group and food was good. Really enjoyed tonight

Never again

Recent visit time hungry horse Netherton Liverpool. I was surprised not to receive a follow-up on a customer service survey I submitted as it was not very good. In short the review was awful, the restaurant was dirty the service poor and food was not good. The overall experience was disappointing and made worse as it was an birthday treat. It was expensive for what it was.

Since its been taken over by Just eat

Since its been taken over by Just eat, please try to avoid both.Two different name same horrible customer service. Our local market has far more better customer service then this comapany. Try to order your food directly from the restaurant. If you do know your local area, google it.

Robin Hood Tunbridge Wells - Don't bother

Over an hour wait for food and only received when said diabetic needed food immediately. Sub standard food, dried up burger and luke warm lasagne. Manager not interested, aggresive, appalling customer service. If there is going to be a long delay on food advise customers before they order so they can make informed choice, not take their money then lie to them regarding delays. Won't be eating here again under current management.

Gona have to pay £1.50 service charge now, unless.....

Sad to see that Hungry House is closing. A very happy, long standing repeat customer here.

Sadly, us PAYPAL users are now going to have to pay £1.50 service charge per order on kukd dot com unless those at Hungry House get on the case and tell Just Eat - who bought them only to close them - that there are a lot of disgruntled Paypal customers that have now been left in the lurch....and that they need to start accepting Paypal.

Goodbye, Hungry House, the service has always been first class.

Thanks so much for your positive feedback - we'll be sad to say goodbye too!

Of course our friends over at Just Eat are trying to work out what can be done in terms of bringing PayPal on board as a payment method. They are very well aware at how important it is to a lot of our community that they can use PayPal as a safe and convenient payment method.

Their scale makes implementing it at this stage a bit of a challenge, hence it may take some time before they can confirm if using PayPal will be possible in the future.

In the meantime there are other super safe and convenient payment methods, such as Apple Pay and Android Pay and failing those or card, there's always the good old-fashioned cash method!

The worst experience

I put an order through hungry house this evening. The food arrived late, was cold and inedible. I complained and received a message in response that not only would no refund be issued but I would receive no compensation whatsoever. This is in effect theft.

I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with our partner restaurant.

It is their responsibility to deliver food at an acceptable standard and on time, and if this is not done it is up to them to compensate customers. We of course will facilitate the discussion here and do what we can to help you out, but we cannot issue a refund without their consent.

In this case I would recommend leaving a review of your experience on this restaurant's menu page and contacting them directly on the phone to pursue that refund.

I just had a meal from cinnamon spice…

I just had a meal from cinnamon spice slough costing £35 half of which was wrong, the food that was the correct order was absolutely abysmal, bordering on disgusting so went in the bin. The most awfully indian takeaway I have ever experienced. Do not use.
