They didn't deliver my parcel

They didn't deliver my parcel. Told me they would look into the matter with DPD. Haven't contacted me in three weeks and are ignoring my attempts to contact support. Don't bother with this company.

Absolutely disgusted

Absolutely disgusted! What used to be a quality product both pairs split 1inch horizontal above the front seam. Right boot split seam on foot. I should have gone for 10 quid lidl ones!. If you buy , don't forget to have a good stock of plastic bags to put on your feet.

I recently had an issue with my Hunter…

I recently had an issue with my Hunter boots, as the heels began to separate. I reached out to their customer service team, and they handled my concern with care and professionalism.

The team promptly reviewed my case and provided a resolution by issuing a full refund in the form of a gift card. I truly appreciate their commitment to customer satisfaction and standing behind their brand, especially during their relaunch in Canada.

Thank you for turning what could have been a frustrating experience into a positive one. I’m happy to continue supporting Hunter and their products!

Waste of money

Like a lot of people write, the quality is not what it used to be. Mine are less than 3 years old, had already been replaced by the retailer I originally purchased them from 8 months after buying them and only used a handful of times (Maybe 4 or 5 times) as they started letting water in. I recently reached out to Hunter and they said given it had been more than 2 years and as Hunter have been bought out there wasn’t much they were going to do about it. £115 is a joke for a pair of wellies that have been used less than 15 times in total and now completely split from the glued part.

Shame on you Hunter

Disappointed with failed delivery

I placed an order with Hunter on 18th December 2024 for a Transparent Moustache Bubble Umbrella and the experience has been nothing short of frustrating.

After waiting for nearly two weeks, I received a notification from DPD on 31st December 2024 stating: “Your parcel can no longer be delivered, please contact Hunter for further details.” There was no further communication or proactive update from Hunter about the issue.

I’ve since contacted their customer service team requesting a refund, but I am disappointed that I’ve had to go through so much effort for something as simple as receiving my order or getting my money back. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a reputable brand like Hunter.

I hope Hunter improves its logistics and customer service processes to avoid situations like this in the future. Until then, I would caution others about potential delivery issues when ordering directly.

Terrible Customer Service and Unfair…

Terrible Customer Service and Unfair Return Policy

I had a horrible experience ordering from Hunter Boots and feel compelled to share. Shortly after placing my order, I realized I had selected the wrong size. I tried to cancel the order immediately—within 5-10 minutes after payment—but the system wouldn’t allow it. Their email link to cancel the order was useless, as it instantly said it was “too late to cancel.”

I reached out to their customer service three times before the package even shipped, begging them to cancel the order. Despite this, they still sent the package and are now charging me $7 to return it. To add to the frustration, I have to take time out during the busiest season of the year, Christmas, to go to the post office just to send this back.

I haven’t heard a word from their customer service team, even after multiple emails. Their handling of the situation has been beyond disappointing. If you value your time and money, avoid Hunter Boots at all costs. This experience was unbelievable in all the wrong ways.

No direct exchange and have to pay for returns

I was so shocked to learn that I had to pay for the returns after spending over £300! Sadly the 3 pairs of shoes and boots I ordered were too small and Hunter don’t offer direct exchanges. I was going to reorder all of them in the next size up, but now I will have to pay a substantial return fee I’ll buy what I wanted from another brand. Very disappointing.

Wellies literally started peeling away

Wellies literally started peeling away, within less than 2 years and being cared for very well. Purchased from ASOS, that won’t take accountability and Hunter won’t take accountability because they were bought on ASOS, leaving me £135 out of pocket with awful looking wellies! Do not buy them! I had a pair previous that lasted a long time- since they sold their company to China, they are cheap!

These people just don’t care

These people just don’t care. I subscribed to get a 10% discount. The code didn’t work. I complained and asked for a reason. I got no reply. I ordered a coat as my daughter really wanted one for her birthday. No tracking or details of the whereabouts of the order unless you download “shop” app. I don’t want another app. Still no coat after 4 working days.

I had previously written a glowing…

I had previously written a glowing review back in Oct 2022, in part pointing out their great customer service. I have now done a complete 180 on that opinion. Placed an order last weekend, money taken from my account and I've heard NOTHING since! No status update, no confirmation of shipping, no apology for delay. Contacted their customer service email 3 times now and nothing back! DM to their Instagram....nothing back. Tweeted... nothing back!! Their tracking link forces you to install a Shop app, whereby no information provided other than order placed. After this experience I will never purchase from them again & suggest no-one else does either

Won’t buy again

I had always wanted a pair of hunter wellies but couldn't afford them. I treated myself to a pair last year with birthday money but they have already split. I will never buy them again. My £10 primark wellies lasted 5 years and were far better value.

Product disappointing fit

Product disappointing. Bought the same type of Wellington many years ago and they were a great fit and good quality. However the size around the heel and/or arch has changed and they are now far too loose and floppy. The boots start to slip off with every step taken. This makes them uncomfortable to wear, It is surprising as my feet are normal sized. Tried another Hunter range and they had the same problem. My advice is do not buy on-line without trying them on.

Hunter have taken my money but haven't delivered my boots

I purchased a pair of boots from hunter uk.

Hunter sent out my parcel with NO NAME and without the full address. As a result of this incompetence my parcel was with dpd but could not be delivered. Dpd tried to contact them for the correct information and for instructions on what to do with my parcel, hunter did not get back to them all day, when they did get back to them they updated my details but did not give further instruction, as a result my order is now being sent back to hunter.

I have tried to contact hunter THREE times and no one has bothered getting back to me, not once! Yet when I contacted them through the same email address with an enquiry about a product they got back to me on the same day!

I cannot believe this, how is hunter sending out parcels without delivery details? And what happened to customer service and customer care? I even tried reaching out on instagram and NOTHING!

What happens when my parcel gets back to hunter? I do not want a refund I just want my boots. This has possibly been the worst shopping experience I have ever had, and to make things worse dpd have been really difficult to deal with too. I've spent hours on the phone trying to deal with this and I still don't have my parcel- if this were an unknown company I would be convinced this was a scam!

Faulty boot - told to take to charity shop!

As they are the only boots that fit me well, I have accepted that even after relatively light use (compared with historically) i still need to replace them nearly every year. When I found them in a sale, I bought two pairs and kept one pair for a year later. When the first pair split (as they always do), I chucked them out and happily unpacked the new pair. I wore them a couple of times and quickly discovered they leaked. I have written to Hunter and was told

'We are sorry to hear about this problem.

We do not unfortunately have a repairs service to offer to you.

If your Hunter products can still be worn, please consider donating them to a local charity or organization.

You can try using a shoe repair adhesive and a specialized rubber boot treatment to fix many various levels of wear and tear.

You can also contact your local recycling facility to see if they accept rubber wellies for recycling. Local recycling bins can also make very good use of the boot materials.'

I have bought Hunters for over 30 years and am gobsmacked that they will not replace or fix the issue.

In my opinion this is price gouging

I ordered a pair of Hunter boots. The shipping was $12.95. I thought this was very high but wrongly assumed that there would be free returns.
When I got the boots they were very small although I am almost always a size 9. I was very surprised that not only did Hunter boots charge a very big shipping fee they charged an additional $6.95 for the return. My bad as I should have checked the return policy but charging $12.95 for shipping and then $6.95 for the return in my opinion is price gouging!! I will never buy from this company again!!
