I am very grateful that I found this…

I am very grateful that I found this company to restore my father’s old citizens watch. It is rare and a keepsake, and finding parts was very difficult, but they did it. I am incredibly grateful for their kind and helpful service and professionalism, and care.

Excellent Repairs

Hurley Robert's repaired my Citizen Eco-Drive watch. The crystal on my watch had been shattered causing internal problems. The repair took a little longer than I initially expected due to the number of repairs ahead of me.
This company will not take any action until the customer receives an itemized quote, approves the repair(s) needed, and pays in advance.
When I received my watch back, I received an itemized list of repairs made, and my watch is like brand new.
I definitely recommend this company for any needed repairs. Your item will be like brand new when you receive it back.

JimG Watch Repair Experience

I sent my Citizen Calibre 8700 watch to Hurley Roberts Service for a original equipment band replacement. They removed the damaged band and replaced it with the exact band that was on the watch when I purchased it. Their service is excellent and I would recommend them to anyone with a Citizen watch in need of repair.

They are terrible

They are terrible, horrible customer service, took over a year to get the watch repaired, no phone calls, no emails. Only after complaining will anything get done.

Repair handled professionally, smoothly with extra ordinary care. Mail-in convenient postage paid, emailed receipt plus informed on each stage of the process.Extras included such as deep cleaning, shipped with detailed repairs description plus additional instructions on care and maintenance.

I submitted my watch for repair after…

I submitted my watch for repair after having it examined by two other shops, neither of which could provide the proper attention. Upon sending it to Hurley I received an immediate reply with an explanation of what would occur while in their possession. Subsequently, at every step of the repair prosses they sent me update regarding of the repair status. Upon my approval of the repair amount they continued the notification process. Upon completion, I was advised of my shipment. Their repair process, cost of repair, etc. was excellent to say the least. I would very highley recommend their service for any future repairs. Their honesty and integrety are above reproach. One of the most customer service oriented companies I have had the pleasure of dealing with.

They are the WORST

They took 3 months to do NOTHING!!!

Approximately 2 years ago I had my Citizen Watch services. It was fogging up. The service took so long that I purchase another watch while waiting for your repair service, Recently when the watch I was wearing band broke, I gave it to the local jewelry for a quick repair and put on the Citizen that I assumed you repaired. It Immediately fogged up again. It seems that nothing was done to repair it.

But that SURELY billed me! Don't trust them!!!

We logged your watch into our systems on 12/20/2020 and it shipped back to you on 2/20/2020, that is a total of two months. Please note, we were closed for the holidays at the end of December and for the First of January.

I am sorry you are having the same issue! That is strange indeed. We warranty our work for one full year, parts and labor.

Since it is a year and a half since we serviced the watch I cannot promise the warranty will completely cover any work now. I did send you a free mailing label for you to use to send the watch back to us. We will certainly work with you to resolve this so you can enjoy your watch again.

Again, my apologies that you are still dealing with this. We look forward to getting your watch back on your wrist where it belongs!

I can wear my favorite watch again.

The stem on my Citizen eco-drive watch broke so I was unable to set the time and then the stem fell off. I sent the watch in and after Hurley-Roberts examined it they sent me a full report on the condition of the watch. I paid for the repair, and the company sent regular reports on the progress of the repair. I didn't mind the wait as some of the hold up was a wait for genuine Citizen replacement parts. I am so happy to have my beautiful watch back in perfect running condition!

I sent my watch for repair three months…

I sent my watch for repair three months ago, paid for it and have nothing but avoidance emails since. I have been promised three times it would be returned in ten days-nothing. Total scam. I am reporting them to the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. Do not do business with this company.

Hello Clay, Mark here, we have "spoken" before so you know I am the Operations Manager for Hurley Roberts Service. I am sorry you are upset. At the same time, we did exactly what we said we would do: You approved the work on Jan 28 a Friday. On Monday we emailed you thanking you for your approval and payment and alerting you that some repairs (more complicated repairs like yours) can take up to twelve weeks as we are very busy and short staffed. The watch shipped out to you in that timeframe. We all wish turnaround times were shorter...hopefully we will get back to that in the near future. One thing has not changed: our workmanship is the best in the industry as the 14,764 reviews all over the internet, the vast majority positive, will attest to. The negative feedback we receive is almost always about turnaround times, never about the quality of our work or how we treat our customers. It is true, good things come to those who wait. Again, my apologies this process took longer than either of us would have liked and I sincerely hope you enjoy your timepiece, trouble-free, for years to come!

Just like new

My eco drive watch is a treasured gift from my wife. The band was damaged and the glass cracked. Hurley Robert’s collected the parts and returned a clean, operating and fully repaired time piece. It took a while, but I am so happy

Thank you for sharing your concerns on Trustpilot. First, I see your watch was initially logged into our systems on Jan 4, three months ago. Second, as you know, your watch was sent by us to Citizen Watch in Torrance, CA. This is a standard practice for a small percent of watches in our care, they are better equipped to service certain models. The watch was on it's way back to us via UPS when the package disappeared per UPS tracking data. The replacement process which involved a claim with UPS, did take several weeks. I see your brand new watch shipped out to you yesterday. You would have received tracking info via email.

The silver lining? You sent us your broken watch and in its stead got a brand new one and you didn't spend a penny.

I apologize for the delay & the loss, neither of which were under our control.

I trust you will enjoy your new Citizen Watch, trouble-free, for years to come!

I sent my watch in for repair last summer of '21.

I sent my watch in for repair last summer and still have not gotten it back. Twice I have asked for verification that they still have it and they assure me that they do and are waiting for parts. I am afraid I am becoming suspicious about it. I have paid for this repair.

I understand your frustration having paid for the repair several months ago and yet the watch is still not on your wrist. I am happy to refund your money in full as we await the delivery of parts. Also, we try to make it clear in our communications with our customers who are similarly awaiting parts, if at any time a customer tires of waiting they can cancel the repair. From your communications, it sounds like you do want the repair to be completed. I will email you so we can continue this conversation.
