Quickly shipped correct part.

Quick shipping and the correct part was the fix for our bike! A little more expensive than a competitor, but being able to get the correct part in a timely manner was worth it. Recommend this company.

Customer assistance to resolving issues…

Customer assistance to resolving issues with this company is the poorest I've ever encountered! And I have worked in logistic/distribution for all my adult life. After a week of back-and-forth emails explaining and sending pictures, it became clear to me I am wasting my time in securing a return of an item I received that I can't use. Has a result, I am donating the product to Goodwill.

Received wrong items

Received wrong items. Responded to 12 different emails requesting info (half were redundant though) but nothing was resolved. Items were returned a week ago but no refund yet. Customer Service is inept.

Don’t know what to tell you at this point but done responding after this one. The lack of a competent response is definitely indicative the my experience with my order.

Changed their price for an ongoing purchase!

Purchased a new pedal for my Schwinn Elliptical and received an email the next day saying that the price of the product was not high enough. I looked back on the website and the price of the part was doubled (not only the shipping, the price of the part itself).
Will go elsewhere.

Yes it’s true, tariffs are impacting special orders and we had to refund because the purchase price he received is lower than dealer pricing. Moreover this is an international shipment and this buyer only paid $25 for a large part that costs about $100 to ship…. You can try and go somewhere else but I highly doubt you will find this part in stock in Canada. Much less, at the erroneous price you received here.

We will give you the price you paid for the part but we are not going to eat all that shipping. If you don’t think that’s fair, we don’t want the business.

My card was charged and nothing was sent to me.

I placed an order on this website and paid for expedited shipping and I have not received my order yet. I just emailed them for a refund for the second time. I’m not even at the address anymore and my card was charged even though the item was not sent. I did not even get an order confirmation by our email.

The make model and serial number to my bike was on their site for the pedal strap I needed. It was way to wide and thick for my pedal. I paid $65.00 for the two straps and returned them but was only issued a $30.00 credit. This is more than their standard 20% restocking fee.

*Edited to update that all is fine and Hydrafitness did nothing wrong. I made the mistake. All my fault!

Let me see if I can help… first reviewing the part of the complaint regarding the $65 order… That’s your order total with taxes product and shipping… We don’t refund shipping because shipping is a service rendered… So the remaining amount you received was correct 20% less on the product- restock…

Now to the matter regarding model and serial number, please provide your model and serial number - take a picture of the serial number batch on the frame of your unit, and we will analyze it… If our data is wrong, we will reverse the restock fee… or, we will give you the correct pedal set free of charge

Not for the matter where you said don’t buy from this company, well we deal with a lot of people and we have a lot of parts… And a lot of people order the wrong parts for their machine… If we don’t have restock fees in place, we get creamed in returns… This is true for almost any part company that exists … Because the same issues exist, no matter what you’re looking to fix whether it be lawnmowers or exercising equipment

Deception, delays, and successful chargeback

Purchased a generator/brake assembly for a stationary bike; the wiring for the generator coil had been torn out so the part could not be used.

During the course of 15-20 email exchanges with “Christ” who claimed that it was a new part “directly from the manufacturer”, I provided many photos of the defective part from several different views, the box, the packaging, the serial number and model of the bike. “Christ” requested additional photos of things that did not exist, including the packing slip (there was none), the extra cable in the box (there was none), the original part (which I had already discarded), and a “motor” (there is none).

I opened a dispute with my credit card company and updated the dispute several times with ongoing email correspondence and photos. After initially refusing to do anything, “Christ” said they would issue a refund but refused to pay for return shipping.

The status of the dispute was listed as “under review by merchant” during the email exchanges but “Christ” never acknowledged the dispute which was resolved in my favor after about 7 weeks.

Take home lesson for other potential buyers: use a credit card and don’t shy away from requesting a chargeback.

Yes, there are some parts that are backordered parts, and yes sometimes it can take some time, but this is less than 10% of our parts orders... It's exacerbated by the tariff initiative so it's out of our control and it was manufacturer direct... So even if you ordered it that way, you would of been in the exact same position... If you don't like that, your only option would of been to replace the whole machine. The lesson here isn't fear to do business with us and use a credit card but to call in and to do an in stock check with our support rep. I can tell you've only typed out emails and corresponded that way with Christ, and yes that's his name - he's from the Philippines - because he's a remote email correspondent.. Whereas if you called locally you would have talked to someone else...

Anyway, We maintained contact and if you want a replacement, we could arrange for it.
