MISLEADING ADVERTISING, NO CUSTOMER CARE OR SERVICE - DO NOT BUY

The filter doesn't work. Water tastes awful.
Tested it ourselves with an at home kit, and it isn't pure as advertised. They will also demand seeing your home test kit results and then send a generic response stating home test kits are not sufficient or reliable. Unreal.
Further, the unit leaks.
Lastly and most importantly, despite explaining the above, the customer service is non existent. They are extremely rude and resend the same cookie cutter template responses with perhaps one sentence or two embedded within the template to address your particular concerns. They send and resend the same links to their warranty and return policy, wholly disregarding that selling a defective, arguably falsely advertised product voids the contractual terms as the consumer is not receiving what we paid for.
I exchanged emails with a few people, but Shane was particularly snarky, unpleasant, unhelpful and beyond unreasonable. As you can see, he has been given 1 star, low reviews by other customers, as well. It is a shame the company is not realizing basic business etiquette and the importance of customer service.
Despite the defective filter not working and leaking, they will do everything under the sun to get SOME payment from their customers: whether it be with the product sale, subscription or with a "restocking" "return" fee that is outrageously high. It is quite unfortunate.
After their failure to work out an amicable solution of allowing me to return their defective product for a full refund, as would be the only fair solution in this case, I am left with no other option but to spend more of my time to submit a claim with my credit card company as this business is falsely advertising a product that does not work, and remain wholly unhelpful.
Run the opposite direction, and do not give this company your business or time.
