Harassing reminders and advertisement
Gave email address to put through an order to see what shipping to my country would cost. Have since emptied cart, but receive an email every day to “complete purchase”. Deleting from my cart doesn't help. Is more spam and harassing advertisement, wether or not its a good product or not.

Truly amazed. The skateboards are beautiful and of great quality. I was a little skeptic about buying online, but took the chance and definitely don’t regret it. Hanging was easy enough thanks to the mounting pieces and instructions included. I was a little nervous about them being straight and aligned on the wall but, with a ruler, a measuring take and a pencil, we managed to hang them just right. The skateboards are Colorful, decorative and modern. The perfect piece to complete the room! Totally recommend them!

Scratched skateboard
The product is very nice! But the packaging is NOT! When I opened box with a knife carefully, it went through the tape and bubble wrap and slightly scratched the top of 3 skateboards! You should put a separate piece of cardboard on top skateboard to prevent this! Now all I can see is that scratch because I know it’s there. With no instructions on how to open box I’m guessing I’m not the first person to do this!

Thanks for your valuable feedback.
Firstly, let me just say that we're sorry you've had this experience when opening your HYLUS package.
However, as our products are made of a type of glass, Acrylic Glass, they are fragile - and as common knowledge would suggest, they need to be opened carefully, preferably not with a knife.
Also, many of our customers before and after your review also praise how well our products are packed: with a double layer of bubble wrap, and a double sided cardboard box, forming a very thick layer to protect the product. In contrary to your assumption, we've not had a complaint about this before.
Your description of what happened also suggests a not-so-gentle opening, which we cannot take responsibility for - even with an "opening guide" not being present, which we've not heard of previously.
Regardless, we wouldn't like any of our customers to own a scratched HYLUS product or be unhappy! Please drop us an email to info@hylus.co.uk describing your situation, and our friendly customer service team will find a favourable solution for you.
