Worst server. Kids, sweeties, bad support, many cheaters and bugs.

THE FU***** UPDATE THAT ADDED SKYBLOCK LEVELS MADE MY FLOWER OF TRUTH USELESS AND REMOVED 250 HEALTH FROM ME

Dude I'm tired of playing bedwars and still getting ghost blocks. And that hypixel is the only game that crashes my hole pc any other server I join its fine but hypxiel it crashes everything and I understand that its a massive server but when I'm playing skyblock I'm on my own island and I still get Alt + F4. Also duels I get into evey game with hackers

Didn’t play for years and when I made the mistake of trying to get on I was banned? Didn’t even know what I was banned for, so I sent in an appeal which was denied without any explanation. Garbage server with garbage staff. I don’t even speak to people or do anything against rules so it was shocking to be permanently banned. Worthless staff who ban innocent people and allows actual bad people to play scot-free.

Hypixel is to laggy. Just the other day I was on a 13 win streak on the bridge and i was going to get another win but i lagged back and the other dude won

Admins lie and deceive and appear to be part of the plot to defraud users out of money.

They literally make up fake reasons to ban you. For example, claiming your account was hacked. Uh, no it wasn't? I have two factor authentication an there has been zero successful logins. Leave the account security to Microsoft. Not your made up random number generator.

the security is unfair and unjust I got permanently banned for having a security breach on my minecraft account, I've never had anything of the sort and I've even played on the server, my first time logging in and I'm banned, I appealed and now I cant do anything for 14 days, then I get threats saying they will ban me without notice for anything which is unfair because like I stated, I didnt even log onto the server

It is very fun and pleasant i would just wish that they could remove the cata requirement bug fix or lower the cata requirement for the frozen blaze armor in skyblock to cata 15 i would really apprieciate that so i will not have to use shadow assassin

Awful there isnt skilled matchmaking pay to win better internet and pc better chance to win, and youtuber rank gives a lot of big advantages game is dead and bad

I play skyblock A LOT. its really fun and all, but i wish getting spider boots was way esier. ive tryed fr many months now, i have not ben able to get the boots. for a while i even quited for at least 1 month becuase i was getting so mad that i could not get those boots. please, make it possiple.

The server is complete garbage. The only way to win is if you have a $2000+ pc because most pvp is based on knockback instead of actual skill in tracking players. Plus the pvp is made for users that are from 1.8.9 and lower with no consideration for 1.9+ players that cant block with a sword but can only block with a shield that Hypixel probably intentionally gave a cooldown for even though there is no cooldown for blocking with a sword. Another thing about Hypixel is that they try to make everything balanced but in some game modes (that are very popular) you can pay to get more items such a kits and special items. MOST of these can be obtained through grinding for hours but Hypixel saw a way to make money of of it and decided to be a asshat to everyone else who plays Hypixel as intended. This server has crap moderation, crap watchdog, and a even crappier owner.. Seriously, the only reason Hypixel has so many players is because of youtubers who are already well off and can pay for the expensive computers which makes Hypixel look like it's actually fun to play. It isn't.

Let me preface this with the acknowledgement that developing and creating something isn't just a jigsaw puzzle where you can make any piece fit and work 100% of the time. I understand no game/server is desirably perfect and you take both the good and the bad. With that being said, I'm going to be blatantly honest here and give a review that shares insight about how I feel as a player who has seen the entire development cycle for one of their gamemodes on offer (Skyblock).

Skyblock and all their other related products have a core issue in that the development team for those games refuse to take feedback from the playerbase as a whole and as a result destroyed their games beyond repair. Skyblock has 3 ways of reahing out to the development team in order to give them proper feedback on the game itself and 2 of them are ways the general playerbase can get their opinions heard with actually interacting with Hypixel staff. One way is through their forums in which they don't really check much less give their insights on. Another way is through their Hypixel Council in which several members are elected by staff to be able to give feedback in a place to the developers. And the last is through their alpha network which is a test build for their games and allows us to test and play with stuff before it releases live.

These wouldn't be bad avenues if they weren't corrupted and useless. The HPC (Hypixel Council) elects players that suck up to the development team for their own needs. To elaborate, often when an issue will arrive that affects the games economy or items the HPC gets knowledge of it before the rest of the playerbase and abuses it and reports it as a bug when they are finished with abusing it, leading to them and a few others only being able to abuse it. This corrupt nature has lead the game's economy to explode horribly, items have inflated to ridiculous extents to where the average player has sunk billions of coins into the game. The second avenue the forums is a place where everyone can voice their opinions, however the developers as you know only consider people such as popular influencers or really high rated posts for discussion and even then its usually a comment explaining their actions limitedly and them never responding. The third the alpha network is meant to be a test realm for players to break and try out the new update and give feedback, however they really don't consider any feedback even if it is extremely dentrimental to the health of the game.

This is just to explain that even if we had an opinion about the health of the game we couldn't exactly voice it to the developers because of their inability to focus on making their games healthy and moreso focused on getting the newest shiny update out the window. This has expanded to the point where the game/server is heavily reliant on popular influencers to sustain their servers health, and in doing so let them do what they want even if it breaks the game.

The communities they have fostered have turned toxic and unbelievably unhealthy for any game. Many players have been hacked for the fact that their accounts have value and the developers haven't developed a system to prevent or discourage such things. If you reach out to support for any relative help in this manner you are put under blame for something that is being encouraged by their inaction in regards to doing something about it. This bleeds over to handling any cheating, bugs, or anything in which you have no control over. You can quite literally be banned for walking forward (there's video proof of that) and have no way to get your account back.

The developers need to stop being lazy for once and focus on making their games a space for every style of gameplay to succeed and reduce the amount of hacking that occurs on their platform. Players have managed to sneak hacks into mods that people use for QoL that allow them to remotely access and steal their stuff and sell it. Players who have high value accounts will be targeted and hacked for no reason besides they have good stuff and no amount of 2 factor authentication can save you. This is coming from someone who had 3 forms of 2fa on hand and had been hacked.

Don't let anyone deceive you and try to sell you that hypixel.net is a good place for players to play and enjoy their games because it really isnt. The environment is on the surface friendly but toxic and competitive far beyond any normal level of reason and I have 2 years of experience of this game to back up what I say. Simon, If you do see this please get your act together and fix this mess of a server before all you have are the people who play for sunk cost fallacy (which a lot are).

This is not a friend circle made server anymore, it's a business, so act like it. (Especially with the amount of members they have now)

I would expect good (at least effective) customer support, a good organisation structure and how any successful company stays alive: Optimization.

Which they don't have. I registered for the first time to their website yesterday, "tried" to log in to the server and to my surprise.. I couldn't enter = Ban 281 days.

I didn't want to let that stand. I never play the game anyways, only with friends in sandbox mode every now and then, but with this, I simply don't like being falsely accused.

So I wanted to contact their support. Couldn't. Oh, I can write an appeal. ONLY when you're registered (Keep this in mind till the end!) . So I registered and then wrote the appeal.

I explained why I can't have used cheat softwares, of which I was accused of, told them to look at my time of registration and that the ban is therefor unreasonable or a mistake because I never entered their server.

I got an AUTOMATIC denial judging by the CopyPaste or Bot reply I got, which is.. suspicious in a legal sense to me.

Anyway. I was very angry, that it hasn't even been looked at and just denied. I don't care how small the team, how many emails and tickets you get, that is plain disrespectful.

(They are a business now. That shouldn't happen. If it takes longer because you haven't recruited enough staff, alright. Depending on how much I already payed you, I'll have the patience: If I were a shareholder, I would want things like service and numbers in customers etc. to get better for instance. Or I'd just step out. Depending on that share holders influence and/or money they invested, it can hurt you. But an automatic reply and one that "decides" it's denied.. Absolute no go. )

When dealing with money, you're a business, and as a business, you should optimize your Organizational structures as you grow. There is NO EXCUSE for handling otherwise as in not changing; adapting.

So, I was fed up and frustrated. Actually more at how inefficient this "company"/"server" is.. it causes me a headache.

(Even at Ubisoft.. even Steam Support, Amazon, all of them.. They may take time to read your complaints or questions, but they actually do and I get replied by an employee who writes me individually!)

There is really no excuse. Fans (who mostly but not all, aren't even adults) may defend you, or anyone who isn't banned, but your business practices are backwards and you should be called out on them.

So at last.

THEY DON'T EVEN GIVE YOU THE OPTION TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT!

I made no payments, BUT(!) (even if I did) I did not register with entering my Real name and address.

I had to write support, said no and directed me a ticket on their website, there someone directed me to a different ticket and finally able to write the "Request" it say it could take up to 30 days..

But the really bad part.. It asks you for full Address and full name. Even says it may need a picture from you.

I never registered with this information in the first place. That's awfully close to extortion.

Metaphorically Inviting someone to your house, and only letting them out if they give you all their clothes.

Doesn't sound legal does it?

Should my "Request" of deletion be denied, then Hyperpixel, I will take legal action against you so now you know.

You register without having to give a photo of yourself, your address and full name. You can't hold me "captive" and ask for all my data afterwards to let me leave. Really? lol

This is a Minecraft server acting like they are a government facility. At least I feel as frustrated as if it were a government facility.

Horrible customer service, takes ages to get information about lost items, if you lost item due to bug or any case really, its your fault (even tho its not) and you will not get it back. Customer Support doesnt help at all either
