After I started looking for buying a house in Germany (almost 2 years back), I quickly realised how complex the whole process is. Especially for someone with limited German language skills and not familiar with the bureaucratic procedures. At that point, I came across Hypofriend from my internet search and decided to give a try. I was immediately connected to the experienced Mortgage consultant and was offered free consultancy including telephone and video calls, where I could easily clarify all my doubts. But Hypofriend's support goes far beyond the mortgage topic and in my case, I was able to understand the whole set of processes involved in a house purchase in Germany through those several calls, where the consultants were patiently answering all my queries and helped me gain the clear understanding of the things to do. Later as I shortlisted on some houses, the next challenge was to get a bank loan at a reasonable interest rate (given my visa status, options with the banks were also limited). Here again Hypofriend helped me to get access to some of the best possible rates from reputed banks. Knowing the experiece of some other colleagues who were trying to secure loans at the same time, I can surely say, Hypofriend's support was outstanding in this regard! I specifically want to mention the name of Martin Kaminski, who guided me and my husband throughout the house search and purchase process and made us look like experts at the end! A special thanks also to Cora Meyer, who clarified many queries for us and also helped us with the valuation of some of the houses which we shortlisted. All in all, I would give top rating to Hypofriend as a consultant and guide to whoever wants to look for a house purchase in Germany - really outstanding service!!

It is almost unbelievable how smooth and fast was the whole process of having our mortgage approved with help of Hypofriend. Helge was extremely helpful guiding us during the whole process, and in a really just a few days the bank approved and we could schedule the visit to the notar to sign the purchase. Navigating the german property process is difficult as an expat who isn't very familiar with it.
Denise and Jens Jendrzejewski dealt with our application and I was so happy with the service we received from them. They went above and beyond to assist us at every step of the process, answering any questions we had and also many questions outside of their remit. They did everything possible to secure us the best deal.

Hypofriend were lovely to work with and made the loan process easy (well, as easy as it can be).
