Michael was very patient and guided me and my husband through every step of the mortgage application process. He helped us calculate and identify our actual budget for the property with the combined income we have in hand. With that information known, we were able to realistically look for properties in that price range. When we found a property that we liked, Michael provided multiple bank valuation for the property. That was a very useful and helpful insight, and we were able to secure a deal with the owner for a fairer price. After submitting our mortgage application, Michael made sure to follow up on the application status when it took a few days longer than usual. We had a tight timeline and Michael did his best to help us out on a short notice. Much appreciated and thank you so much Michael & Hypofriend!

I cannot emphasize how helpful Hypofriend has been to get our mortgage in place. We had a rather tricky income situation and were rejected by almost all German banks, but Oliver went above and beyond in helping us to find a bank and get a mortgage. Our mortgage advisor Luka went above and beyond for us not only in securing our mortgage options but also helped us a lot in getting the proper documentation from the seller's agent.
He took off a lot of our burden by directly contacting the agent and explaining the documents needed from the bank. Even sent an architect to the house to get the dimensioned plans. So once I selected the house to buy it was completely taken care of until the Notar appointment.

I cannot think of a better service to land a mortgage in Germany, especially as an expat.

I really appreciated the presentation and thorough discussion of my mortgage options - compared to when I went into my bank and the mortgage adviser scribbled down some notes on a piece of paper, the technology that Hypofriend uses makes it really easy to understand what's going on, what the options are, and how the process works.

I also got really good, sound advice from my adviser all the way through the process. It probably wasn't quite as personalised as if I'd had my own long-term financial adviser but then I wouldn't expect that from an online company; it was really useful all the same.
