This was my first time applying for a mortgage and Julia Biener of Hypofriend helped me every step of the way, always with explanations, patience, kindness and reminders.

Julia supported me in applying for a bond to two financial institutions. She took care if all the paperwork, and I simply had to sign my name. It was a breeze on my side, because she went the extra mile.

When the timing became tricky, Julia was understanding and accommodating and timed everything like clockwork.

Julia was always available to schedule a phone call when there was something I didn’t understand and she made sure that I got an incredible deal - far better than what I had managed to secure myself before going with Hypofriend.

I can highly recommend working with Julia Biener or one of her colleagues. She was simply put, brilliant.

The advisor (Timur) was very nice and helpful - and most of all patient. I have tried another company before this one and have not had a great experience, because I felt like I was asking stupid questions all the time. Here, on the other hand, I was always treated the best way and we could successfully solve all the issues! Also, the response time was very quick. I felt well-supervised :)

Nicole was very patient in explaining all doc details and made a great effort to make herself available for any of my possible coming-up questions along the mortgage application process. Great professionality was shown at the early stage of communication, and trust was built very rapidly which certainly helped move forward the mortgage application at the right direction without causing any side hassles.
Besides, everyone else I got the chance to interact with at hypofriend showed high professionality and each one of them proceeded with any of my requests in a timely manner, which left a fabulous impression of the service provided by the whole team.
Would definitely come back for more help going forward if other mortgage supports needed.

Makes navigating the Germany mortage process super straight-forward

It was an extremely great experience with Jaclyn and Henryk for me. There are couple of very important things that made me feel very nice. 1. Professional same time friendly. 2. Able to understand the customer situation, life Style and offer solutions based on that. 3. Patience inspite of repeated questions. There is no reason i could tell why you shouldn't deal with Hypofriend. I like the mindset of this company and their employees so much.

I ultimately believe that the agent is why I am happy with Hypofriend, but it could be also that the company culture put together such great people!
However, Hypofriend agent were the first broker to contact me back, and the agent offered me the best deal possible for my situation while the other 4 brokers I met with, did not even try it as such deal did not even exist for them and they all wanted the "easy" one for them which was not the best deal for me.
On top of that, I felt very fortunate with the Agent as her english were excellent and she took her time on helping me go over all the contracts and explain it in details as well as helping me fill in the forms for the application.
This is not the first time I am buying a property, although the previous times I was very satisfied with the result I would definitely go back to here for the future.

To put it simply, I would have given up if it wasn't for Sven from Hypofriend. He explained all the steps I had to follow, found me the best mortgage, defended me when the bank wanted to increase the interest rate. Defended me again when the real estate agent said that finding some of the documents necessary for the mortgage was not his problem. My german is non existent and I managed to buy an apartment in 2 months in Berlin thanks to Sven.

We are grateful to have had Sven’s patient, helpful, and professional help through the process of securing our mortgage. Sven was incredibly patient in answering our (many many) questions along the way, making sure we understood all of our options, and clearly explaining everything we needed to know at each step, especially as non-Germans with limited language skills and no understanding of the real estate system here. He went above and beyond to help us secure the best rate from the bank, especially after we had some delays in signing the paperwork. We could not have bought a flat without Sven’s sage advice! We would wholeheartedly recommend Sven, and Hypofriend to anyone looking to buy a new home.
