Worst Customer Service

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the customer service at Hyundai Roskilde. It feels like customers are taken for granted, and the lack of internal communication between the customer-facing representatives and the workshop team is frustrating.

I specifically informed them to charge my car ahead of a test drive with the mechanic to diagnose the issue. Despite mentioning this a day in advance, nothing was done when I arrived. It was a complete waste of my time.

On another occasion, the mechanic assured me he would call on Monday, but by 3 PM, I still hadn’t heard from anyone. When I followed up, the explanation given was that his family was sick. While I understand personal emergencies, it’s unacceptable not to inform the customer or provide a follow-up plan.

The service lacks basic courtesy, and there seems to be a culture of passing the blame rather than taking responsibility. Customers deserve better communication, respect for their time, and accountability from the team. This level of service is truly unacceptable, and I hope they improve moving forward.

Hyundai HYM51SPE lawnmower

I bought a Hyundai HYM51SPE lawnmower 3 years ago and have to say that it has been a complete disaster. It is unreliable, full of corrosion and very variable in use. It has been unreliable in that there have been many breakdowns including the drive chain (now awaiting it's second gearbox) electrics, cables and in particular the belt drive. It has been full of corrosion in that at the age of just 18 months it required a completely new body (yes, that's a complete strip and rebuild) because the old one was a mass of rust, all the nuts and bolts were very rusty and various parts like axles and and running gear needed repainting and treatment for rust. It has been very variable in use because it frequently has 'dug-up' the lawn in great chunks and cannot be used below the 4th setting on height or it grounds out and simply will not run. It is now sat in the garage with yet another gearbox failed and I am seriously wondering whether to just scrap it and buy something more reliable with greater cutting power. The Hyundai has been a big mistake!
