Poor customer service
The customer service upon dropping off my vehicle was terrible! I wasn't greeted with any words.... I pulled my car up and they just looked at me until I finally asked if I was good to go. He asked if I had a reservation and I said yes, that I placed it through the app and had already paid.
Upon returning for my vehicle, without asking me if I had a reservation he immediately rung me up and attempted to charge me $55 when I had already paid on the app. I let him know I already paid for the reservation (since they previously asked me I didn't immediately tell them upon picking up my car) and he seemed frustrated with me that he needed to then cancel the transaction he put through, even though he never asked me if I had already paid.
I have used icon parking plenty of times at other locations and have always had a great experience.
This experience was less than desirable.

Icon and This App are Worthless...
I made my reservation for a garage the night before, and paid for it via the app. Upon entering the garage at 4:45a before work I was turned away and told the garage was full. I showed my reservation confirmation and I was told to find somewhere else to park. The gentleman working there was professional and very nice and this in no way reflects him. It reflects Icon's incompetence. I emailed Icon asking for a refund and still haven't heard back. Stay away from this app and this garage system if you visit NYC.

Outstanding service
During the registration process, I was informed that the garage I normally park at had no vacancies. I then selected another garage. Even though it said it had limited openings, my prepaid registration was accepted. When I arrived, the garage entrance was closed with a sign that read it was full. I drove away and found a spot with Icon at 200 E. 90th (Whitney 90 Parking). Fortunately, that garage honored my registration. Very cordial and extremely helpful and will definitely park at 200 E. 90th again. After posting my review of my initial bad experience, Icon Parking customer service promptly contacted me and refunded my parking. That was unexpected and greatly appreciated. What a great example of true customer service! With that high level of responsive service, why park with anyone other than Icon?

I had a reservation at 7am for a reason. I got there on time and was made to wait 10-15 minutes and every time I tried to talk to someone, they ignored me. My daughter was having surgery that day and they almost made me late to accompany her. If it weren’t for the fact that this garage was the closest in proximity to my daughter’s apartment, I would most likely never use them again.
