Excellent service by Clifford
Excellent service by Clifford and Danny. They both came early and waited patiently outside for us.
The journey was very smooth and I really appreciate how relaxed Cliff and Danny were and how they allowed me and the bridesmaids to wait in the cars before we had to go into the church.
Both the car and minibus were for my wedding and it was so lovely that they had a bow/ribbon on the front of each of them.
The interior of both vehicles was nice, fresh and clean.
The booking process, customer service and communication was all superb.
Thank you so much to both of you (Danny & Cliff) and to ideal cars. :)

Price, Communication, Vehicle & Driver all Spot On
Telephoned Ideal on 19th January 2025 for a price covering a pick up from Birmingham Airport on 5th March (4 people and luggage) with one drop off before the final destination. Telephoned them back on 20th January 2025 to accept the price, minibus booked, provided them with the details of two flights so they could be tracked & received a text confirmation the same day.
Given the time that had elapsed when making the booking, for my own piece of mind I emailed Ideal on 4th March to make sure everything was still in place & provided the flight details again and received an email reply the same day ' Yes all details are correct in our system'
Landed at Birmingham Airport, 22.00pm on 5th March, received a text with vehicle reg number, drivers name & contact number. Rang the driver who was just parked up outside the airport, told him we were ready & he gave us details of the pick up point.
Vehicle was spotless, Andy the driver knew the final destination & prior drop off for two of the passengers.
The journey was smooth & safe and much appreciated as we hand been on the go for 18 hours.
All in all a great experience from booking to completion. Thank you.

Ideal cars saved our Christmas Day we had struggled to find a wheelchair accessible taxi , leaving my mother in law after recently suffering a severe stroke stranded on Christmas Day !
Ideal cars managed to get her picked up made her feel at ease , they had a few hiccups with timings but kept us updated through out , amazing customer service highly recommend!!

My Nephew has special needs and he said he was very comfortable with both journeys.

Had the worst driver, be careful
(not sure if same driver but I think it was will delete this part if it's not) On Thursday I had to call a taxi down to hucknall due to a bus not showing up, the taxi had no ideal stickers on show but pulled said my name so I said sorry I haven't had a text yet (yes I'm careful of getting into cars) so he said the job location and got a text not long after so I ended up picking up my heavy boxes and putting them in the boot myself and getting in.
(Boxes was full of jars, and baubles for me to sell)
So I book a taxi home for 7pm since there's no bus at this time, qué to my phone call at 6:46pm while I'm still packing my last bits away, driver: hello I'm outside ? Me: I booked for 7pm driver: but it's only 4 more mins away me: sorry but I'm still packing my stuff driver: puts phone down on me (how nice, I did call back about this)
So I got my stuff away just on time but me carrying it out the door to the carpark made me 1 min late for the time I asked for (il say sorry for that I guess.) So got my stuff outside to people saying the taxis driving away! And I'm just like crap that's my cab, but he drove out and not sure where he went so yeh called ideal again got told he will be back... So eventually he's back and tells me he was waiting in the right place before and I said yes I know. I put my boxes away myself and got in the car and the driver: is it ok for me to ask you a question? Me:sure driver: are you going to pay me for the extra 4 mins I've been waiting? And I sat there not sure what to say back but took a breath and said: sorry I would like to get out the car. I rushed out and out for my stuff since I wasn't sure what else this driver would do! Got out the way and called ideal again at this point I'm scared from my encounter and frustrated with this guy's audacity to ask me to pay him for driving out and back again!!?
The next driver like most of your drivers was great, he helped me with my boxes and out with them when I got home! And I do always appreciate this and say thank you.
I'm so horrified by this driver, I know it's Christmas and things can be stressful but I'm not sure what I did to set him off on me.
Me and my partner have been using ideal a long time (10 years plus) I know not all drivers can help me in and out the car I don't mind that but for a driver to treat anyone this way is crazy!
Got called the next day to say sorry and management would speak to the driver but not heard anything since of how it's been delt with.

Firstly, we want to ensure all our customers feel safe when using our service. While all our drivers and vehicles are licensed by multiple licensing authorities and undergo stringent checks, the driver in question is licensed by Wolverhampton Council. Wolverhampton has mandated that their licensed vehicles must not display operator signage. While this is not a policy we agree with, it is legislation we must follow, though we are actively appealing this rule to better serve our customers.
We sincerely apologize for the driver’s behavior during the initial phone call. It is against our policy for any driver to be rude or impatient, and they should have had no issue waiting a few extra minutes for you to finish packing. Additionally, having spoken to the driver, we understand that he briefly drove up the road to allow another vehicle to pass due to narrow roads and then returned to pick you up.
However, it is absolutely against our company policy for drivers to request payment for waiting time prior to the customer entering the vehicle unless a specific arrangement has been made. The meter should only begin once the customer is inside the vehicle. We have thoroughly addressed this matter internally. While we cannot disclose the specifics of our actions due to sensitivity, we can assure you that the driver will no longer be assigned to your bookings when made with your phone number.
We’re pleased to hear your second driver met your expectations and provided the level of service we strive for. This is exactly how we expect all of our drivers to behave—helpful, polite, and professional.
Once again, we deeply apologize for the distress caused by this experience. Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate you allowing us the chance to make things right.

I love ideal cars and never had a…problem but did this time.
I love ideal cars and never had a problem, but after a afternoon and night in A&E and needed to get home at 2.55 am I checked ideal dud 24 hour service. Booked one, said 40 mins which is no probs. After 25 mins had a call to say the one driver on would not come and went home. So I was stranded so obviously not 24 hour service. Sorry that was not on and would have thought with all the cars there was more than one on. Luckily Managed to wake up someone very unhappily and got home a hour later.

Ideal minibus airport run
Andy was punctual courteous and very friendly, took the hassle out of driving early in the morning, already booked return journey home, wouldn't hesitate to use again, very reasonable prices.
