Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the service, reporting issues such as unfulfilled treatments, unexpected changes to treatment plans, and a lack of transparency regarding procedures. Customers also expressed frustration with the pricing, noting significant increases without warning and feeling that the costs were not justified by the results. The refund process was a major point of contention, with many reviewers struggling to obtain refunds for services not rendered or for unsatisfactory outcomes. Additionally, the location aspect was problematic for some, as they faced difficulties due to staffing shortages at nearby clinics or unexpected changes in clinic ownership. Though some people were satisfied with the staff, finding them professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, other reviewers found the staff to be rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful, particularly when addressing complaints or refund requests. Some customers also felt that the staff was not adequately trained or that there were frequent changes in personnel, leading to inconsistencies in service.

I paid $4500 to have a chemical peel & cool sculpting . I asked to cancel any procedure of the cool sculpting due to a medical and mental condition. They refused to give me any money back. Management refused and corporate refused. Very poor customer service and they do not care about their customers. All they care about is money.

Big hard stomach bulge. Cool Sculpt made me look like lumpy mashed potatoes

Had two of five sessions with Cool Sculpting. A big lump formed where the apparatus had frozen me. Instead of a smaller waist I now have a bigger one. It’s an ugly bulge
So…don’t want to finish with the other required treatments due to the Hypertrophy that happened. They finally said they would refund me for the treatments I didn’t receive, but
I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE TREATMENT I DID GET…….the ones that caused the big hard bulge! Why am I being bullied into paying for a big fat lump on my stomach?
Refund it all, and soon. Very unsatisfied customer.

Ideal Image doesn't care about their customers

My story is the same as countless others - I paid almost $3k for initial treatments with the Lifetime Guarantee to cover discounted touch ups. My contract states that I'm guaranteed 90% off of "single sessions" for life. When they raised to the $99 per area, I had driven 4 hours to the closest location and wasn't told until I was already there. When I called to dispute, they said they don't do "single sessions" anymore and that this was the new pricing for touch ups. I told her that my receipt is itemized and specifically says "single sessions". The customer service rep sounded annoyed and told me they're a business and allowed to change their pricing. I acknowledged that I understand that, but my contract states I get 90% off, so that discount should stay the same regardless of the base price, and that $99 would mean the base price is $1000 per area for one session and that the math doesn't make sense. She said "the math does make sense I've already explained it to you." I was calm and asked if there was another person I could speak to about my concerns because it's important for businesses to hear out their customers. She again went back to them being allowed to change prices with an extremely annoyed tone, I told her I was just trying to understand and that she was coming across as rude and she hung up on me.

My initial treatments and experience were great so it sucks that after being a customer for over 5 years this is where things will end. I hope Ideal Image learns to care about their customers.

NO Customer service at all

THEY targeted me with ads and I responded their number to make an appointment. They had NO openings in afternoon or weekends for the entire monthlong promotion. A month went by and then a new promotion. I called again and scheduled an appointment late afternoon 3 weeks out. I then got countless marketing emails every day thereafter. Today, I show up for my appointment and she tells me it was cancelled by their "system" because I did not confirm by email. After I took off work an hour early and drove almost 1/2 hour to get there and I had ALREADY Paid for it! Why would they assume I wasn't going to show up? How could I find the email amongst the hundred other emails they sent. What a farce. ZERO stars.

Ideal Image will not honor Lifetime Guarantee Programs

Extremely disappointed and angry due to the fact that Ideal Image is no longering honoring their Lifetime Guarantee Program for Hair Removal. Prices have tripled and quadrupled for touchups with no warning or compromise for existing customers who have already paid large sums of money for the initial plan and being sold on the idea that their contract would include touchups that are reasonably priced for life. This is completely unethical. Unless there is an acknowledgement or compromise offered for current customers, I will never recommend Ideal Image to anyone nor step foot in one of their spas again.

Contract is useless

Very disappointed that Ideal Image is no longer honoring life-time contract prices. I bet I couldn't have gotten away with paying less than half of what I agreed to, yet they can get away with charging me more than double what they agreed to. Shameful.

Looking for perfect lips... your perfect smile? Go to Ideal Image in Green Valley

Janet made my entire experience at Ideal IMAGE smooth and she ensured I felt comfortable throughout the process. Janet's patience, kindness, humor and attention to detail is beyond reproach. I was extremely nervous in having lip fillers done as I didn't want to have "duck lips". I genuinely love my lips prior to going to Ideal Image. My soul intention to going to Ideal Image to begin with was to have Botox around my eyes and to fill in my smile lines. Janet had a bit left in the syringe and she didn't want it to go to waste. So, she sweetly asked me- "Do you want me to fill your lips?" I was hesitant at first... and told her - "ok, but, just a little on my top lip because when I was younger my top lip was slightly bigger than my bottom." She said- "ok, no problem." Janet was very gentle as she was filling my upper lips. When she was done she stands back to see her work. She said - "They look great, but they will look better if I do the bottom so you can have an even smile. Please trust me, it going to look perfect." I trusted her-- and I am so glad I did🤗!! Like, wow- I have never seen my lips look so amazing 💋! Never. That's a lot to say since I always believed that my best facial feature were my lips. Seeing them this way- they're simply no words to describe it- other than "beautifully perfected." Before leaving Ideal Image- I spoke to the manager-Chloe- and let her know that no matter what she needs to do or how much she needs pay Janet to keep her as part of her team to do it. Because Janet deserves every accolade, every dollar, every award. Truly. The world would simply be more beautiful
if there were more people like Janet not because of her skills and talents- that's a given- but because she is such a doll. 💙

I’ve been dealing with this company for…

I’ve been dealing with this company for over a year, and my experience has been nothing but frustrating. After fully paying off my treatment loan, my contract clearly states that I would pay $40 per area during my touch-up period. However, during my last touch-up, they suddenly claimed the price had increased, and I was forced to pay an extra $100.
Now, when I called to book my next touch-up, they’re telling me the price is $99 per area and they’ve conveniently divided my face into six areas, totaling $594 before tax! Meanwhile, I used to pay only $178.82 per session before. This is a total rip-off. They keep raising the price on me after every single visit with no clear explanation, which feels like a bait-and-switch tactic.
The customer service, especially at the Attleboro location, is absolutely terrible. The front desk staff and manager are incredibly rude, unprofessional, and downright discriminatory.
If you value your time, money, and dignity, stay away from this place. They will nickel-and-dime you every chance they get, and treat you with no respect once they have your money. Worst experience ever.

Disappointed

Disappointed, from the time of start they do what they need to earn your business. Issue is 2 of us are having this done and the appointments are so long out months out that there is no telling with things especially if you own multiple businesses and more. Currently there system has failed to send us reminders numerous times and numerous times we are having to call to check or change. Also hair continues to grow and since there system fails to remind you they seem to enjoy charging 50 every time but yet they still have not fixed the problem. More negative review to come from others due to the same issue. As everyone says why fix the problem when you can use your system to fail and make 50 every time from customers.

Worst place I’ve ever been to

Worst place I’ve ever been to. Will take your money even for services not rendered. No one will call you back, staff is rude and inexperienced. Cool sculpting hurt me so bad and now I have problems controlling my bladder as a result of CS on abdomen. My doctor doesn’t even know what to do. They’ll make you sign paperwork, without explanation, that they will not give you a penny back, even for services not rendered. Please take my advice and go somewhere professional. Corporate won’t even listen to your complaint. Horrible, terrible and a rip off.

No refund even after canceling next day

Don't come here there are plenty of other companies to go to. I paid the deposit and signed up for cool sculpting. I called the very next day to cancel because spur of the moment I got excited and signed and paid. They have 1-3 days to cancel. I called immediately the next day and they told me the manager is not in office and that she will call me back the next day and then I called again the next day she's still at office. It wasn't until Wednesday which I signed up Sunday that I finally heard back and they said oh the manager is out of office until next week. She'll give you a call. I finally spoke to the manager and she told me that they do not do refunds and I told her it's in there that as long as I cancel right away, which is that one to three days and you guys haven't even contacted me back until like two weeks later like well just come in and we'll see what we can do. I come in. They try to force the appointment on me. Which was kind of funny because over the phone she said she'll talk to me about other options where I can use those funds. She never told me about anything they offered there didn't try and transfer those funds to any other service. Just tried to force me to go through with my appointment. Then she tells me she'll call me back either later that day or the next day after she goes over the contract, she never did someone else calls me back, trying to schedule me for an appointment two days later. I don't want an appointment. I want my money back. The whole runaround is to keep pushing it back and pushing it back. Shady company don't bother.

Unethical crooks

I received an email stating that my "membership" had been renewed. Instead of notifying me in advance of this, giving me the chance to opt out, they charged $299 to my credit card. I was told this is nonrefundable. Highly unethical business practice, and nothing short of stealing. So long ideal image!

Don’t waste your money on CoolSculpting…

Don’t waste your money on CoolSculpting with Ideal Image. After paying for six sessions, I was informed I would only receive three because they used a larger pad—something they failed to disclose when I purchased the package.

They later agreed to provide three additional sessions, promising a total of nine. However, during my last visit, the front desk informed me it was my final session. When I called for clarification, I found out the promised nine sessions had been reduced to four. To make matters worse, for sessions 2–4, Ideal Image used a less effective machine.

This explains why the first session showed results, but the last three had no effect. Additionally, during the holiday season, they charged $247 per session.

Never sign a contract until you are absolutely clear about the terms and conditions.

This company is a SCAM

This company is a SCAM. Do not give them money. Started a brand new treatment and paid $2,400. Before my first treatment they closed the office. The closest office to me now is in Las Vegas and I live in Los Angeles. They refuse to refund any part of my money. They said it is the reponsibility of their partner Troika. But I didn't pay Troika and don't even know them. This was an Ideal Image branded and operated location. I am out $2,500 with no treatments unless I am willing to fly to Las Vegas.

I have an appointment with this company…

I have an appointment with this company tomorrow and so glad I read all your reviews because I am about to cancel my “ free consultation “. I did want to make a comment about the Botox. Not all Botox is the same. So in the future ask which company and the brand of Botox they are using. As for the lady who says she has to have eyebrow surgery because they put the Botox in the wrong area, not sure who told you that you have to have surgery to correct the mishap. I have taken many Botox courses through Allergan ( they sell the most legit Botox) but in all the courses they do tell the people in the class that if you make a mistake in that area, it can take up to a year for the muscle to begin working again but there are exercise you can do to get the muscle to function faster. I imagine those exercises are available somewhere on the internet. We see a lot of patients who let their dentist, hairdresser, or very inexperienced injectors at a spa or even Botox party inject the wrong muscle but know that unless it is an area like the masseter muscle for TMJ pain, headaches, grinding, etc., issues and accidentally hit the saliva gland damaging it and causing forever dry mouth! Plus Botox for TMJ or bruxism, grinding, etc. will do the injections wrong. You see when you paralyze one muscle, the surrounding connected muscles then have to work hard to compensate. So if you go to a “ doctor or dentist” and they recommend Botox injections for your headaches, ask them where they will be injecting. To find out more about the facial muscles go on the internet and type in “ facial muscles”. You will then understand what I mean. I personally would never let someone working in a salon or spa do Botox on me. Chances are, they have only taken 1 course before the company puts them on the floor doing Botox. I would also recommend you find out if the i will be using a while doing any kind of cosmetic injections will be using a vein mapping machine. It is a small hand held machine that locates veins so that the injector can avoid any blood vessels especially around the eye and temporal region. Botox is not a huge $$ maker for say a dentist but still, it is extra income so just be sure they have had more than 1 course and make sure they are VERY familiar with the muscles in the face. Good luck everyone!

Just starting cool sculpting

Just starting cool sculpting. One treatment so far. I had another appointment but someone called me to cancel it and reschedule. I have to go to another facility other than the one I started out in. The front desk staff seems unaware of what they are doing and also seems as though it is their company. I was told from the nurse rationed that you don’t see result until 3 to 6 months and to drink lots of water to flush out dead cells. My next appointment is December 26, 2024, if it’s not canceled. I can’t give anything but a two star so far because I don’t know the out come or results yet.
