They are unreasonable in regards to the return policy. IF something is not as it says it is, they should take it back. I understand if it is used that the policy sticks, but just opened and not used... they should take it back.
iKamper Korea HQ had sent my iKamper shipment to the wrong address (even to the wrong state in Australia). Having iKamper arrange for a pickup from the wrong address has now been a 3 week exercise and dealing with them does not give any confidence at all that they have sorted out their build quality and customer service issues. I would suggest potential customers to look elsewhere at other alternative products such as intrepid Gear, etc. Give iKamper a miss.
awful customer service. blamed me for their horrid product failing within 3 months. thankfully i purchased from REI and was able to return to them for a full refund.
for 5K, this product is NOTHING special compared to other brands. They cheap out on features, charge you 1k for a $5 set of lights and some cork panels that are $15 off amazon.
cs takes months to respond, no #, no way to contact them directly.
RUN FAR AWAY
After spending 5 thousand dollars in a tent, you expect great customer service if you have any issues. Ikamper doesn't give a damn about their customers. They don't have a phone number, and takes days to respond. Their response is never a resolution, it is more like something vague. I will never buy from them again. NEVER! Terrible customer service for an expensive product.
I needed to get an Allen wrench because I don't know where mine went. This tool is necessary to install on and off the tent in your car. I have been talking for over a month with Lauren from the customer service. She is rude and only says I am gonna have to wait months if I want to get that, because “they don't have it”. Wait months? What if I have a problem with my tent that I absolutely need to remove from my car.
I am completely frustrated with their customer service. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. They are not willing to help
LOVE my iKamper. I use it literally every weekend. Bombproof in rain, wind, you name it! Couldn't recommend enough.
I have their first gen iKamper and my family loves the ease of setup and room inside! Has been a great roof top camper for our family of four!
