Not one thing didn’t break. Most importantly the latches that hold it closed. They repeatedly failed. Keys broke. Shocks that push it up failed. Trim fell off. Switch didn’t work for lights. Top warped and sunk traveling through Moab.

Their partnership with having a 0% interest for 6mths was actually not accurate. Have a credit score of over 800 and was told my rate would be over 15%. Corey had no resolution and stopped correspondence. Decided to give then a chance and bought the tent. It was during Covid so everything was delayed. Many people experienced a 6mth+ wait. We were pleasantly surprised when ours randomly showed up after only a month, probably due to someone else's cancelation. Like others, there were no keys. Little return comms but we eventually got a set. The tent is great. We were fortunate to not have a damaged unit. If they can get their customer service and warranty figured out, they stand a decent chance.

6 months Of waiting. Arrived damaged and with no keys. Terrible contact. No support. The shell got wave already and lost the shape. No support. No warranty in fact!!! Corey and his thief crew are silent!!! $4000.00 in garbage. They public fake reviews on instagram, FB and i other websites using pics without permission of the owners. We have support group on FB for all of the customers who have problem and they get caught with TORRO and left with they problems themselves. You can see how many of us!!! I wish there was a way to split this review between the product itself, and the company selling it, but there isn't.
The T/O Skylux RTT is a clone of several other better known, more expensive tents in the market today. While I received my tent (damaged!) in about 15 weeks and missing keys, it appears to be of very decent quality for a Chinese-made product. I will have to spend some time and money to fix the damaged railing and some odds and ends often associated with the lack of QC in Chinese-made products, but the canvas, zippers, and some of the hardware appears to be decent-to-good quality. It looks good, and the colors are bright. The rain fly appears a good fit and feel, and while we have not experienced any rain yet, we did get hammered with severe winds and it held up well. I was impressed, as I expected it to blow away. The two "locks" included are very cheap and inadequate for a tent set up like this, and are more like a latch, than a lock; the two velcro straps are short but appear to reach its intended goal of keeping the tent closed at highway speeds. The mattress is very firm, and the included LED light strip is very finicky; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The big problem isn't the tent itself, but the fact that you can only get this particular tent from this "company". It's a start up type company, and by its own advertising, a family business run by 3 or 4-people; Torro Offroad's business model is to drop ship tents to your door (for free) from China, arriving through California's Long Beach port. After several serious shipping delays and mounting customer pressure and complaints, the company stopped replying to my emails, and eventually run into some problems with Shopify and then took down its own Facebook page. The company eventually responded to my request for keys (yes, it arrived locked with no keys!), but never responded to my requests for help in reference to the damage to the tent and how to make it right. They simply ignored me. If I had to do it over, I'd spend the bigger money for the big daddy of them all, the Korean-made IKamper2.0; or for a little cheaper options, the RoofNest or TuffStuff AlphaI. I'm SURE they do have some issues also, but I know first hand these companies offer strong support. This was my own first-hsnd experience and it might be different than yours, but do your own research and reach your own conclusions. I think I like the tent, but the company.... not so much.

They have the worst customer service. False dates of when the tent would be delivered. No keys delivered with tent. False date of delivery of keys. Months later, still no keys.

Your tents are awesome. Great quality. Exactly what’s advertised. Your customer service is non-existent. You never replied to my emails regarding my solar generator and solar panel that were never delivered (I emailed you once a day for over two weeks with zero courtesy response). Nobody answers your phone and your voicemail is full. I had to file a charge dispute with my credit card company to get my money back for those items. Several people that have seen my tent think it’s awesome. I’d love to tell them to buy one. However, I tell them to never buy from you because they may never get their products shipped and won’t be able to contact you.

The tent took months to be shipped out and by that time I was ready to cancel the order. Of course I wasn’t able to cancel because of terms and conditions.

They shut their website down and customer service for a month, a lot of people never got their orders and left terrible reviews, they then erased all the negative reviews from their website and only left a couple of the good ones. Not a trustworthy company.

The rooftop tent trim fell off after 2 weekend camping trips. The shell already warped up top. I’ve reached out to customer service several times but no response.

We love our Skylux RTT. It has provided us the freedom to take the next trail without really worrying if we will find a suitable campsite for a ground tent. Just park up on some rocks to level the Jeep and 5 minutes later you are hanging out in your own personal fort! We have gone on a bunch of adventures with it already and that feeling of joy sleeping in our fort has provided is only growing stronger! Thank you for elevating our camping experience!

Covid messed up everything but was patient and so was the Torro team. They communicated with me as best they could and delivered my tent about 5 months later. It didn’t have the keys but they expedited them to me within a week. I couldn’t express how grateful I am and I love the tent. Thanks Torro off-road and I’m still expecting my gift for the delays lol!

Unfortunately Toro over promised and under delivered. They had every opportunity to inform people that the 8 to 12 week window was not going to happen. They didn't. Also my RTT arrived a bit damaged just like everyone else's. Not worth the hassle to try and have them fix it though. On top of this they forgot to send instructions and more importantly keys to open the RTT. Sadly this was a company I was excited to do business with that unfortunately failed to deliver.

Ordered my tent in January 2021, after waiting 8 weeks emailed and received a response telling me I should receive a email with my tracking information soon. After waiting another month tried to contact the company without any response. I sent a registered letter canceling the order and requesting a refund. I received a email from Corey Johnson stating they had problems with their website provider and did not have access to the customer data. After the website came back up I have not been able to get back I touch with Mr. Johnson. I just want my money back and move on but will probably have to file a law suit. Wanted to support a up and coming small business but got took instead.

I was excited to try a Torro tent and Corey Johnson's rooftop tent importing business but unfortunately I cannot recommend this company. I was pressured to purchase in late January for what I was told were "1 of a few spots left" to ship in early February that did not happen. It took almost 3 months to receive my tent. Torro is not proactive in updating customers about shipping delays and is slow or unresponsive when you inquire. When we finally received the tent no key was provided and I have read online that others have experienced the same issue. As expected, Torro has done nothing to remedy the missing key issue. Therefore, I proceeded to pull the locked latches and the "lock" easily broke. It's a poorly designed and cheaply made "lock" and "latch". Now I have a tent with broken latches, no key, and Torro does not seem to care. Go elsewhere! They do not respect their customers and there are plenty of other RTT providers to choose from. I doubt Torro will be in business very long...

After reading reviews on here, I feel fortunate I received my tent. I did not receive my 500w electric generator or solar panel. Like others on here, I get no response from emailing the company. I also cannot reach the company by phone and their voicemail is full. I disputed the charge for the products not delivered with my credit card company. If I had to guess, based on my experience with their lack of communication and now their website going offline, Torro went out of business. Even when their site was online and they were replying to my emails, they were very poor at providing updates during the very long production time. Do not order from them, even if they do come back online. The tent is awesome and very high quality. It's too bad that's the only thing they do well.
