I read their blogs, they was fantastic and the initiative they are taking for Green Energy is fantastic. I admire their work and very impressed with the purpose of this company.
EDF kept increasing my bill, from 30 euros a month 4 years ago, to now 80 euros, so switched to Ilek, now 56 euros a month !!!

Stayed in a flat for 7.5 months paying the monthly rate no problem. It's only when I leave that they tell me about my over-consumption and hit me with a whopping bill. I complained and asked why they didn't warn me sooner... they had over half a year to do so, they shrugged and said I should have been monitoring my own consumption.
I believe this is not correct and if I was over-consuming I should have been warned. This is what I would expect from a tech savvy, customer orientated utilities-challenger.
When you don't have sufficient funds to cover an upcoming direct debit, your bank warns you ahead of time. Same thing with the phone company if you are reaching your monthly data limit.
