I have been a client of Simon's since 2022 to help reunite my whanau here in Aotearoa. Our journey has been a very long one. It started in 2015 with a immigration consultant and a lawyer both were unsuccessful this why I reached out to Simon in 2022. It started with the ministerial intervention (successful in 2024) which was a lot of work and effort. This ministerial intervention would not have been successful without the aid of our local MP in 2023. My husband Fijian born was granted a visitors visa in February 2024. We then had to apply with Simon for a work visa which was granted October 23 2024. We then got on to the partnership residence visa application shortly after. We submitted all our evidence an required paperwork in April 2025. There was a delayed due to my side, however we were successful and my husband was granted partnership residence visa this time last week. We received the call from Simon I was thinking the worse. However it was the best news ever. Simon and the team Hya were persistent and communicated well on the client portal. If we needed to supply something they will update us asap. Simons support and advice was genuine and did not give us false hope. I wish I could write more but there are just no words to express how I feel.

First off I googled searched the best immigration lawyer in NZ!
Immigration trust popped up so I took the plunge and paid for a consultation. I had been to numerous lawyer to help with my husband situation. Simon was the only one who gave us a solution! After speaking too him for 5 minutes. Less than 10 months gathering all require documents we finally submitted our ministerial intervention. Simon was very meticulous in what we needed to provide to help our case. He was very understanding when I stressed. He did not lie, when he said it will be very difficult to get all required support documents. Simon never gave us false hope. Very professional in his approach to our very difficult case. I was approaching Simon park from Immigration Trust for my wife's visitor visa application at first. My wife's previous application was rejected and we realised some complications in the same. I have always trusted Simon and team for all my work visas, at last our resident visa just got approved !!! I was so happy when Simon called me with the wonderful news! I was referred to Simon for help with a S61 request. I had become unlawful after a situation beyond my control. Simon explained we had a lot of work to do, it wasn’t going to be easy but we will do everything we can, and will work as a team.
In just over 2 weeks I’ve been approved a 6 month work visa and I’ll be engaging later this week to progress my residency/further visa applications.
Today has marked the closure of a 10 year long difficult chapter in my life. I can’t recommend or rate Simon and the whole team highly enough!
Not only did I get a positive result but the compassion, kindness and respect I have been shown throughout the whole process has made what appeared to be a daunting process feel achievable.

My partner got her work visa declined after receiving a bad advice from our previous immigration adviser. After that, they didn't even show interest to apply for reconsideration for they know that our case is impossible to win after the advise they have given.
My partner did her research to look for a lawyer who will represent our case better , however, she became unlawful unintentionally and we needed to apply for section 61. Of course, we were so nervous because this can affect our family especially my partner has just given birth to our son. We booked a face to face consultation with Simon and before we even reached their office he already knows what to do with our case. He is so professional and very smart with immigration matters. He guided us and is very sympathetic for he understands how important it is for us and our family to stay together here in New Zealand. After 2 weeks and few days our Section 61 case has been approved and now we are such in relief and is so excited about the future. UPDATE 1/11/21: Our Partnership Visa was approved last week. We applied during the three months visitor visa we were able to achieve with Simons guidance under section 61. This Second partnership visa did not come easy we again received a multitude of concerns as PPI from INZ, very similar to our first application which was declined, so it has hard to imagine we could swing their decision this time considering we were declined on many of the same concerns last application. However, this time the new factor was we had guidance from Simon. Simon remained very calm throughout the process and was always one step ahead. Simon guided us on how to approach our visa and PPI Reponses by showing us the best way to structure our information and proofing all our work to make sure we were sticking within his guidelines. He understood what we needed to do and showed us how to do it.
I would like to thank Simon for the incredible news we received. My partner and I can finally plan our future and live life without the worry of being separated.

My partner got her residency. It was almost close to impossible as she was illegally residing for 2 weeks in NZ. Thanks to the firm who made things impossible , possible.
