w imperial coaches made our school bus late and now I miss 1st period WWWWW

For such an expensive service, it is chronically unreliable - the bus is late every week, generally several times a week. At school pick up there have been several instances when the bus is 30-60 minutes late. Kids were also late going into school on exam week most mornings, which did not help with nerves.
In addition, if you lose your bus pass they will charge you for a replacement and then not give you one for weeks nor will they contact you about it or respond to emails

Really disappointed that it has been more than four weeks and still no response from the management at Imperial Coaches regarding poor scheduling and late coach arrivals daily. A coach service contract that has deteriorated.

absolutely rude team - spoke to Rob - sales manager and all they are interested in is the money and not the kids they are taking to school. not there to help the schools or the children. they have no records of what they are doing and who is and isnt supposed to be on the buses. hopefully the school will change these guys.

This company clearly employs drivers who have no idea how to use a road with dangerous driving. Every morning I witness the same coach on the way to my child’s school in the wrong lanes at roundabouts to overtake all the traffic and then dangerously cutting up other drivers on the roundabout to get in the right lane…

This morning the same coach again came speeding up the outside lane with no respect for any other road users and cut in with no indication. If I didn’t slam my breaks on it would have smashed the front of my car and pushed me off the road. God forbid if a child was crossing the road cause they would be killed by this absolute maniac.

I’m glad I don’t pay this rip off company to transport my children to the school in this dangerous manner. I will also be reporting all these dangerous driving offences to the school so hopefully they start using another company.

Unfortunately this is the only coach provider for my daughter’s school. Every day is a lottery whether the coach will arrive. It has been early and not waited, it’s been late, it’s gone past and not stopped and it has not turned up at all. Drivers have been rude to students, made several cry and not allowed them to travel. I have complained repeatedly and had multiple excuses but no improvement.
I have tried the council but as a private route they can’t help and even the headteacher has tried to intervene.
I really think the company just don’t care and just want the money. Overall terrible.

Do not use this coach business! I've just witnessed some terrible and dangerous driving by one of your coaches. Approaching the roundabout in Broadstone, Dorset, the coach was in the right hand lane, indicating right with a car on the inside lane. There car was in the correct lane to take the 2nd exit to Poole. Both the car and coach pulled out at the same time however as the car started to turn into the 2nd exit the coach inexplicably turned sharply left and cut the car up and took the Poole exit. Clearly the coach driver realised he/she was in the wrong lane but instead of accepting this and going around the roundabout made a dangerous and thoughtless manoeuvre. Appalling driving which should her investigated.

It was fantastic, we had two beautiful coaches with toilet facilities. The Drivers where awesome, very understanding, good communication skills and 💯% in everything. We would like to have them both again next year.

The school coach service has almost always been on time so that is the positive. The poor rating is based on the aftercare experience. If you need to communicate with this company then be prepared to go the long-run. The company does not appreciate or assures to improve communications. I have managed to get hold of someone on the 7th attempt albeit the company using all sorts of excuses, promises & reassurances to get back to me. Unfortunately it is the only company serving a particular route so we have no choice but to use them - essentially they dictate regardless.

Dreadful and very overpriced for what you get. Coach was filthy, covered in what looked like biscuit crumbs, chewing gum stuck everywhere. It smelt of urine and cigarette smoke.

I'm guessing the urine smell was coming from the toilet which was locked. We were told it was out of order but that's probably only because it hadn't been emptied for a while. The microphone didn't work which although not a major issue was a bit of an inconvenience.

The driver was superb and very apologetic but all in all, a very disappointing experience. If you want an overpriced school bus then just about OK but there are far better operators in the area.

Absolutely awful experience! We purchased a ticket for national express from London Victoria to Glasgow and the imperial coaches bus was provided for some reason for this journey. The bus was bad, the service was even worse! These were the most uncomfortable seats I have ever sat on, with short backs and a very tiny space for legs. We were told not to use the toilet, allowed only in a case of emergency. The driver told us it would be two twenty minute stops but in fact it were two 10 minutes breaks with no time even to buy a sandwich or coffee! Shame to the Imperial Coaches providing the service and to the National express hiring such terrible busses instead of using their own fleet and letting down their customers!

Terrible driving, really uncomfortable journey, the seats smelt and needed a good clean..I complained to the driver and he shut me down and was very rude. Seemed to be in a massive rush.

Always a good level of service, no problems encountered over the years we have been using the company, as a school we have booked Imperial for many Educational Visits and always felt happy with the service.

Fantastic service, could not fault it at all!! I used this company for airport transfers for my hen do. The man that drove the mini bus was polite, on time and didn't mind the girly banter! I would thoroughly recommend them!

Amazing journey to and from the airport. Was early for location and waiting for us upon arrival.
Drivers very polite and the coach/mini bus was clean and tidy.
