They oversaw my Tier 1 extension yesterday and they made the whole process very easy for me. There are certain things that I recently found out which would help reach a decision if you are comparing Imperial Visas with other immigration solicitors-

ON THE UPSIDE:
1. Others would try to hook you in and take your money and THEN do what they can do. Imperial on the other hand will be honest with you in the first place and tell you your exact situation. They'll tell you what could be done and if there are "ways" to do certain things. Once you are happy then they'll go ahead with the process.
2. They have people who have good experience in dealing with immigration. When I went to the Home Office with their rep (Ali) he seemed to know people there like the back of his hand. Not to take any undue advantage of his relationship but its just good to know that your application is in safe hands.
3. They are very professional and committed to seeing positive results out of your application.
4. The guy who runs the company, [name], himself sees through the final documents and approves before sending them through to the Home Office. Unlike other agencies in which maybe a manager meets you initially but the rest of the work is done by someone who you don't know how good he/she is.

ON THE DOWN SIDE:
They are not always good at replying to the emails. I asked [name] about this and he just said that its better to give them a call and they would help you with your query. Writing emails waste time and they are very busy most of the time. I don't necessarily agree with this bit of customer services but what he said makes complete sense.
Finally, I would strongly recommend anyone who is looking for a genuine evaluation, reflection, suggestions and application on their immigration matters.
