Terrible product and performance.

Terrible product and performance. Would never get indesit ever again. From the day i first used it, knew had made a mistake. Performance, doesnt spin well, noisy, doesnt heat up, stops in a cycle. Doesnt get clothes clean. Engineer came today. Still the same. Stay away from indesit washing machine, in my opinion.

Badly-made product!

I bought an INDESIT IS5V4KHW 50 cm Electric Ceramic Cooker, which was delivered in November 2022 but after 16 months, one of the hinge screws on the oven door broke. I tried to repair it but it the screw had snapped. 2 months later, the other screw broke so the whole glass door slides off every time the oven door is open. I am now going to have to pay to have the oven door replaced because it is out of warranty. Just cheaply-made rubbish that hasn't even lasted 18 months. I thought Indesit was a decent make but this is disgraceful and I'll never buy an Indesit product again!

wish I'd never heard of indesit.

bought a tumble dryer absolute rubbish.. Even putting small amounts of clothes in still comes out very damp.
Wish I'd never heard of indesit.

Have tried everything, re-pluming it in but nothing works. Company should be ashamed of it's products.

Absolutele Rubbish
Totally useles guarantee and customer services. Absolutely disgusting service from a top brand company, I Bought an Indesit oven less than one month ago and the bulb has gone inside the oven so cant see what Im cooking. After many hours trying to get through via telephone and online, eventually received a call back only to be told that bulbs are classed as consumables and not covered. What the hell the thing is 3 weeks old and part of it is broken irelevent of what part it is it should be covered. Then they just try and sell me extra cover, no way will I ever buy or recommend Indesit again absolutely disgusting diabolical service, stay clear you have been warned.

Zanussi Lindo 100 vented tumble dryer leaves clothes damp…

Lido tumble dryer leaves clothes damp and there’s no way to override the sensor and put things on a timed cycle. It’s never worked, but a year went by in a flash before I could complain. We’ve tried everything, my filter sparkles, we have reset the machine by turning it off etc. going to buy a new machine from someone else.

Customer Service

We bought a washing machine in December and have had ongoing problems. 1st engineer said nothing wrong with the machine, 2nd Engineer did not order the correct parts so 3rd Engineer who came out today could not fix it! 3 days wasted leave, endless hours on the phone with the company who couldn't even give me an email for complaints so I could not write the complaint myself. Such bad service and I will never purchase from this company again!

Indesit fridge freezer declared unsafe…

Indesit fridge freezer declared unsafe by engineer (it had been making crackling and popping sounds and there was a burning smell). Purchased on 19 Feb so older than 30 days, Indesit will not replace it will only repair it. While waiting for the correct part I contacted Currys where I purchased it. They will replace it if Indesit will give me an 'uplift number'. Indesit refuse to give me uplift number and insist I have a potentially dangerous appliance repaired. Buyer beware and go for a different brand!

DANGEROUS PRODUCTS

I've had an Indiset gas cooker for around 2 years. The gas knobs have always gotten too hot to touch when using the grill,
But now they have actually MELTED after using the grill for 30 minutes.
I did originally complain to Indiset but had the most obnoxious customer service rep who was of no help.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Dishwasher broke down 3 times in first 3 months very poor service from Whirlpool who service the dishwasher felt as though they only wanted to sell you an insurance policy rather than deal with my problems to fix the machine. Thankfully we bought the machine through Argos who refunded our money and we bought from an alternative manufacturer.

Dangerous Goods and Service

Every time they come it’s patched up to go wrong within 6months , last time engineer turned up 90minutes early to then slag us off for not answering , very clear and visible on our CCTV, when finally in the house done a fast slapdash job and didn’t put lid on properly, was still faulty afterwards and D&G was told,been left until now when it’s finally tripped the electric, smells of burning and black marks on clothes for it to totally stop working, Indesit trying to send for a safety check and isolate a dead dryer instead of repair and replace , all I wanted to do was update them that it’s totally broke now and do not send previous repairman as he’s barred - the agent Mohammed refused me to speak with the manager repeatedly , gave me a number already closed and cut off the chat - avoid this company , already suffered explosion with last machine and they covered it up !

Engineer been partially fixed but still banging and burning smell again , awaiting another visit- disgusting company

Had an engineer out to look at a persistent problem with the washing machine, the impression he gave was he didn't want to be here, he told us his machine for testing wasn't working so couldn't test to see if there was a problem, said the washing machine wasn't unbalanced but then went on to suggest we buy rubbers for the feet to balance it out, the w/ machine is still clicking and ticking during a cycle and clothes still coming out wetter then they should, so still none the wiser. When you pay insurance, you want a better service then that. He spent all of 15 minutes here.

Avoid avoid avoid

I bought an Indesit gas cooker for my mum and 8months the line one of the nubs BELTED whiles she was using the oven. She had notice ld that anytime she will use the oven, the nobs will get really hot which is usual. I called Currys and they told me to contact the manufacturer and that’s where the nightmare started.

I’ve been back and forth with them since December 2023 up till now. I’ve called them serval times as the problem of the nubs getting hot whiles using the oven still persists. They made me 3 appointments, the manufacturer (hot point) sent an engineer( Kenneth; (he’s so rude)from a company called Whirlpool. He’s been twice; the first time he will send a nub through the post, 2nd time he said we should keep the temperature down and the 3rd time I insisted on a different engineer but no one turn up. Now tell me why I received an email 2days later with a job complete form from this same engineer on a different date!! What job did he complete and at which property??

Currys, Hotpoint are you waiting for the gas cooker to cause a serious problem before you will take it serious?

I’m so frustrated and disgusted by the customer service I’ve received from both Currys, Hotpoint and Whirlpool. My next step is to report to Trade Standards and see how they can help me.

4 weeks of service and NO result

My dishwasher stopped working 2 months after a purchase. I’ve booked a warranty repair. They had failed to repair it after 4 weeks of waiting time and 4 visits. By different engineers every time. All are outrageously incompetent.

The 1st engineer didn’t show up, support said the next slot is in a week.
The 2nd engineer came a week later, said the issue is in pump, but he doesn’t have a new one so I need to wait a week.
The 3rd engineer came one week later, replaced pump part but said the issue is in a circuit board which he doesn’t have right now.
The 4th engineer came one week later, replaced the board and said everything works. But it in fact did’t work. 

I am still waiting for the working repair to be done. They have proudly marked the issue as resolved and I am yet to get any response from their support team. So far both the support team and the engineers have shown themselves to be an absolutely unreliable and incompetent.

AVOID this company - Intermittent dishwasher working

Today is our 5th engineer visit. Brand new dishwasher in May/June. Stopped working in November. Each time an engineer visits it’s repaired then stops after a couple of cycles, leaks, blown boards. Lots of parts replaced, refusing to exchange even though board has blown three times. Please do not buy Hotpoint/Indesit/Whirpool, not interested once the have your money/ signed you up to Domestic and General
Insurance. AVOID at all costs

Uncontactable Company

The company book appointments through D & G and never turn up. I have taken numerous days of work due to dates given by Indesit texting with supposed dates that their Engineer was going to repair the fridge and tumble dryer. Avoid this company. They are extremely unprofessional. Also, there is no way of contacting them.

From day one of buying this Oven

From day one of buying this Oven, it’s always leaked from my top oven or the bottom oven. this would be the condensation of the food making a big puddle on my floor.
Engineer was sent out and seals for the oven was replaced and they did not make any difference. Also the heating element went costing me £160 just over the manufactures warranty period, which is also a danger as my six month old can no longer use her walker in the kitchen as the oven glass is extremely hot/burn to touch. nothing done by curry’s or indesit themselves absolutely disgusted with the service

Fault Ridden - Stay Clear

2nd time in 2 years I’ve had error code F01 on washer dryer.
Related to circuit board.
First time it happened it was a year old and engineer said it should no way have happened that soon. Low and behold a year on and guess what? F01 code again.
Seriously considering replacing with another brand. Forking out good money after bad, year on year is not worth it.
