Worst experience I have ever had in my…

Worst experience I have ever had in my life to apply for a visa. We spent 2 hours one evening to do one and it all disappeared. They then make it very difficult about the upload of pictures needing to be jpeg and a certain size and then the passport has to be uploaded as pdf( they don’t tell you that and how to do it). Then after all that we had to do it all again the next morning, another 3 hours to finally get it completed then the payment just wasn’t getting through. Then we tried to fill mine out and it just kept on crashing, having to redo the same page over and over. Would not accept my date for expired of passport. We are still trying to pay my husband one and trying to get back onto the site to redo mine again!!! This is absolutely ridiculous!!! We are travelling next Wednesday. Not sure if we will get there at this rate!!!!!

I would give nil if I could

I would give nil if I could. The marketing and inference to the customer adopts an Indian Government style which in my opinion is a scam.
Your fees did not appear through the customer journey which is deliberate because we would all see its not $30 and would stop the process
Looking at your trustpilot score most customers agree with my opinion.
You should be embarrassed by the deception.

Crash bang wallop, what a hopeless website

Contantly failing whenever we log in to try and compete our evisa application. Retains most information but seems obsessed with 'filling in the yes box to having Pakistani grandparents or parents' you always have to make sure you say no to this question no matter how many times you save the document.

Complete nightmare

The whole visa application process was hugely time consuming and frustrating, from trying to resize the portrait photo (which took half an hour and still didn’t look right, fingers crossed it’s ok) to having to enter information multiple times because the site kept crashing. It then took several attempts to actually pay for the thing. Appalling service from such an important website.

Minus 1-shocking web site with zero…

Minus 1-shocking web site with zero customer service or support

The site crashes whilst completing the application so you start all over again each time. The uploading of photos is problematic as well, only takes small files therefore the quality of the photo is reduced, this causes the bot to reject the whole application. No opportunity to upload a replacement.
Customer service is non existent. I have sent 20 emails requesting help, used the chat function three times and phoned India. Non human response and go around in circles.
I would not recommend India as a tourist destination to anyone because of this out of date process. Is it a scam to get more money out of an unsuspecting public? Every time an application is rejected the tourist have to pay again and start again.

May the Gods grant me patience.

It went pretty well for my wife, totally different story for me. Website crashes and work commitments meant it took me 3 days to complete my visa application. Frankly, I'm surprised that this website is so poor. I'm also surprised that I had the patience to endure. Time for a cup of tea.

On line Indian visa process not transparent

Having just tried to use the on line Indian tourist visa process ( from Australia) compared to obtaining a visa in person the old fashioned manual way I can attest to the fact the on line visa process is dishonest. After uploading the required specific photo ( taken by an Indian passport place) to the online website and being told twice my application was rejected due to the photo, the exact same photo uploaded to an application for a manual visa was accepted first attempt and I was told it was fully compliant with the specific photo requirements. The on line process is a scam to get people submit more applications with the associated visa application fees.

Just terrible

Just terrible. It's all been said before by others. Almost enough to put you off going to India for holidays. And India is well known for its IT staff! Please use them.

Without question the worst web-based or…

Without question the worst web-based or any other type of application I have ever used. And I have a MS in info systems from MIT, and have designed user-focused systems. Poorly written, vague instructions; erroneous data validations, inability to save work reliably and frequent disruption of connection to the website causing data loss and repetitive re-entry.

I'd like to think I'm pretty internet…Savvy `but OMG

I'd like to think I'm pretty internet savvy, designing a few websites, looking after hosting, etc, but this site is one of the worst I've ever used. It's like going back to the screen of death days(, those of you who can remember Windows 95!)
Bugs galore, certain browsers not liked. Top Tips: Clear your browser history in between sessions (once you've saved the application's first pages or so), especially if you're using more than one application. Make sure you save the first few application stages if you get that far as one mistake and it will wipe your data and then your back to square The passport photo has to be in PDF format, file size applies (also applies to the photo, which is easier in JPEG format) and even when you do complete it, the download of the actual visa is made almost cryptic. Right laugh!!

Absolute joke!!!

Absolutely a joke of a service. No Visa on arrivals from the UK nor emergency visas. My grandfather passed away on Wednesday in India and I am the only one who missed out on his funeral today, still stranded in the UK with my bags packed. Applied for a evisa and sent numerous emails to request it to be fast tracked only to get emails back saying to wait till processing is over!!!! I'm still waiting at the moment. Shame on the Indian Visa system. I lost my chance to bid farewell to my grandfather!!!!

Very bad service. The visa process took more than what has been promised. I had to reschedule my business teavel which makes additional cost. I have been trying chasing through emails and calling them which never got through everytime. DONT TRAVEL TO INDIA IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO. WORST SERVICE EVER.
