A colleague introduced me to IFP a number of years ago and I have been delighted with the service and advice I receive from the outset. Be it from senior management, my personal financial advisor or the office support staff, communication is swift, efficient and friendly - there has never been an occasion when my email or phone call has not been dealt with promptly, which is a rarity these days.

The advice I receive is clearly presented and it is never too much trouble to answer my questions.

If anyone is in the market for financial advice, I would happily recommend IFP.

I have been a client of IFP for c4 years following a pension transfer, dealing with Joe Sanders.

The advice received from Joe has at all times been professional, balanced and appropriate relative to my financial aims and goals, aided by the regular six monthly strategy reviews.

The focus from Joe / IFP is on a long term relationship and the overall performance of the funds have been good and the challenges of Brexit and Covid have been well managed.

Darren Goodall has been advising us for over ten years

on Investment planning: IHT matters: Pension funds & keeping us up to date with changes in legislation and the financial markets.
Last year Darren advised me on the Pension Fund which could be actively managed or re balanced to try and ensure the investment remains suitable to my needs and expectations. The current pension fund portfolio did not provide these facilities and advised on a transfer.
This transaction included a considerable amount of "paper work" which was all dealt with by IFP leaving me with minimal amount of input.
The administration of the pension by the provider is being constantly monitored by IFP given me further reassurance on this important matter.
If we have any queries on our investments we know we can just contact Darren/ IFP.

I had seven seperate pensions and no idea what they were worth, or even if they would allow me to retire when I wanted to. I put off getting a professional involved and in hindsight that was silly. IFP have dealt with sorting all of this out in an efficient, friendly and professional manner. At least one of my pension providers were less than helpful, but IFP got that sorted and I now have one Composite Retirement Account where I can track the value easily. We have just completed our annual review with IFP (by video as it is 2020) and I was pleasantly surprised how well the CRA has coped with the problems of 2020 with an overall 4% increase in net value.
I have recommended IFP to a friend/collegue and I tihnk that says it all.

I approached IFP some years ago now as I had a frozen personal pension and a number of dormant company pensions that had accumulated over the years that I had no idea what to do with, whether they were in the right place or could do better elsewhere, but where?
Darren from IFP came out to my house and went over what I had, went through my finances and attitude to risk and explained in simple terms what the best options were.
Ultimately, I opted to merge them all into a particular pension scheme that Darren proposed and I have been very happy how it has performed, even with the recent events like covid, brexit etc. Darren is very knowledgeable and professional but explains things in a way that us none financial types can understand.
I also get a yearly home visit (remote via Zoom for this year under the circumstances) to review finances, the schemes performance over the year and to make any necessary changes.
All in all, I would very much recommend IFP’s services.

As well as the usual skills; trustworthiness, reliability and professionalism he is incredibly easy to talk to. His approachability combined with expertise in all matters financial make for a super partnership. As someone who does not particularly like to discuss money and financial dealings I have found Darren to be the perfect person to talk to. It is great that he listens to your individual concerns and definitely does not have a one size fits all approach. Our particular adviser is excellent. He listens, makes notes and then shows us all the options available to us and gives us his professional opinion. All explained in a simple down to earth way that we understand. Crucially the final decision is ours and we have never felt swayed a particular way. Our best interests have always been at the forefront.
Communications are excellent, either by phone, email or when we were allowed actually in person.....at a time and place to suit us.

Darren at Informed Financial Planning has been my financial adviser for many years and I trust his judgement implicitly. He has sound judgement and gives me no nonsense advice that always leaves me comfortable with my current and long term situation.

Darren’s annual review is always punctual, precise and thoroughly professional. It is always fully explained in terms that I can understand. I usually have a number of questions that I save for the meetings and they are always answered there and then. One criticism is that I needed to wait quite a long time to get the documents to complete and then the advice to move forward. I appreciate that Covid has led to working being more difficult in 2020, so the lenghty time might be due to that.
