Fantastic company
I attended a workshop at the Crafterama in Kent. I made a resin poppy. The lady teaching us was lovely and explained everything so that it was understandable and easy. Everything we needed was included. It was such fun and I was so impressed with the poppy I made. I purchased a kit to do more at home, which is great. Thoroughly recommend this company.

It takes longer to created the instructions and video than it does to make the actual flowers and it is rewarding when people mention that. Fuschia workshop at Westpoint
4 of us enjoyed a Fuschia workshop at Westpoint craft show with an excellent tutor although we felt we needed more time and felt rushed at the end. A friend and I bought the Lily pack between us to do at home and have enjoyed making them although found it hard to cover in between the wires with resin! We were also very disappointed to find a lot of rust in the wire spool! Have Wasted over 2 metres!

I am devastated that you found the wire rusty! We go to great lengths to ensure that the wire we use is sold to us as rust-free as so many people make decorations that go in the garden. In the very beginning, when we first started and we didn't know a great deal about wire we experimented with so many suppliers and thought we had found the very best. Can you please send us photos of wire as we will take this up with the suppliers - so we can see exactly whereabouts on the wire the rust started. Also if you have any issues with dipping please email us as it could easily be your dipping technique which is causing problems. Apart from all that, really pleased that you are enjoying the craft and that you enjoyed the workshop so much.

Tried something new
Pre order i had a couple of questions, which were answered by the following day. Delivery time was good and well packed.
I've played with my purchases and have enjoyed making the flowers. I purchased an introductory box so that I had what was required for the projects.
The reasons I've not given 5 stars are
Despite trying to call several times the phone was never answered.
Personally I would have liked written instructions and on the how to videos, I would have liked verbal instructions

Thank you very much for your review, and for your kind comments. I think maybe you were trying the old number to get in touch with us. We are in an area where mobile phone reception is very hit and miss and so we have had a land line installed, but there were issues with that and so we were without access to a phone for a number of weeks. We do advise all our customers on everything we send out to email us in preference to phoning. There are written instructions which are fully illustrated and very easy to follow - when you enter the password you are offered an option of choosing the video and/or the written instructions. We used to have verbal instructions on the videos but they did not prove to be popular. I think it is very much a matter of taste.

Clearer info needed
Disappointed to receive only one snowflake crystal (£3!) as six are shown on the page. I presumed the '1' meant 1 pack.
Also the shaper tools are shown as wooden, so was looking forward to receiving them, and not plastic.
Otherwise, all as ordered.

I am so sorry you were disappointed with the crystals, and looking at the website I can see why. I have now changed the description so it is perfectly clear that the price is per crystal and not for the 6 that are shown in the picture. I am afraid that style over accuracy won the day when we were designing the photos. Our original Shaper Tools were wooden, and we are in the process of updating the pictures but in line with our company environmental policy we have changed to a local company who uses entirely recycled materials. They have also made the colours clearer, obviating the need for tape, inserted a groove to make it easier to thread the wire through multiple loops and are in the process of designing a more rounded end so the wire slips more easily off the Shaper Tool. They have also provided us with a customisable box to store them in.
No record of my booking when I turned up

When you arrived, your name wasn't on the list the trainer had, so you were asked how you had made your booking, which was swiftly confirmed. At no point did anyone say there was no record of your having booked. There were plenty of spaces so HAD YOUR ARRIVED ON TIME AND NOT NEARLY 20 MINUTES LATE into a 1 hour workshop you would have had no problem joining in. As it was, the trainer explained it was too late for you to start, and refunded all your money in cash. We did not need to refund the money, as on the bookings email you received it says quite clearly that late arrivals cannot be accepted, and monies for late arrivals cannot be refunded. I can understand you are disappointed at not taking part in the workshop but Inion Arts cannot take responsibility for ensuring you arrive on time. You have attended our workshops in the past, and obviously enjoyed them or you would not have wanted to repeat the experience.
