Printer not working. Techsupport cant help. No money back.

I ordered a DTF printer + oven from the company Inksonic. It arrived at my place on 06.02.2026. However, the printer is defective. I then contacted customer support. They gave me several appointments with technicians who tried to resolve the problem. None of the technicians could help.

Every time I ask for a refund and the return address, they want to give me a new appointment.

I also run a business and cannot wait several weeks until tech support has time. And as I said, none of the technicians could help at any appointment.

When I mentioned that I would open a PayPal case, they wanted to calm me down with €100.

The printer still does not work, and I have not received a return address. And my money they dont want to give me back.

Update 25-02-2026:
A return has now been approved. However, I'm supposed to send the goods back to China, even though I received them from the EU. Another scam to defraud customers. I now have to pay approximately $400-$500 in return shipping costs. I've suffered immense losses because of this company. Time is money. And now they're literally ripping me off.

Please don't buy from this company. You'll only end up with headaches and a lot less of money.

Update 26.02.2026:
Guys rly dont buy there. Paypal says i Must send it back until March 7th.
The adress wich InkSonic gabe Paypal doesnt exist. I cant find it in Google, UPs, Fedex, DHL etc.

When i asked for the correct adress so i can send it back (and must pay for it) they dont give me the adress.
And now they Are saying the refund must be approved???

Paypal says it is approved and i must send it back.
And they wont give me a correct adress, in Hope i cant send it back until March 7th. So i loose my Money and the Printer.

This is fraud!!!

I asked for a tech support appointment…

I asked for a tech support appointment and the tech asked me what issues I was having. I explained the RIP software was not communicating with the Pinter. Within one minute she had my printer up and running again! The tech support here is amazing and has never let me down!

I purchased the InkSonic DTF printer…

I purchased the InkSonic DTF printer for approx $2600.00 When I recieved it we followed the instructions but couldnt get it to work. We spent over 12 hours with multiple online support sessions.
The sent me multiple replacement parts including cables, motherboard,print head, motor.I contacted Amazon and they arranged for me to return it. InkSonic sent me areturn label. I packed it up in the crate it cam in and sent it back. Also I had to pay shipping to return it.After they receivedit they only refunded me 1200.00
They refue to give me the balance. I contacted the PA. attorney Generals office to file a complaint. Ther was a led block that had 4 or 5 wires that were not orriginally soldered

I followed the instruction to assemble…

I followed the instruction to assemble the printer
It would not work
Customer service took control remotely and they couldnt get it to work either. They sent me a printer head. after two weeks i got it and they walked me through the process to chnage it still did not work. they said the motherboard was bad. 2 weeks later i replaced it under their instructions still did not work. they wanted to send more parts. I got approval to return it. I had to pay for shipping. They sent me a partial refund.

A complete nightmare for my small business

The delivery was a couple of weeks late. Although the company upgraded me to a higher model as compensation, the shipment still arrived incomplete, forcing me to wait several more weeks for the missing parts. Because of all these delays, I missed my entire Christmas sales season, which is a major financial loss for a small business.

First, one of the ink tanks overflowed, flooding my floor with ink. The damage cost €4,000 to repair, and InkSonic did not cover any of it. The “solution” offered by support was that I should disconnect cables from the transformer. This is absolutely unacceptable for a €2,500 printer that is supposed to be professional‑grade equipment.

Very early on, after the ink tanks overflowed and destroyed my floor, I suggested replacing the entire device. This request was rejected, even though the damage was severe and the printer had never worked properly from the start.

Later, the print head had to be replaced, which again took more than two weeks to arrive. The replacement process was extremely time‑consuming, even with videos and support, and the issue still wasn’t fixed.

Now I’m being told that one of the ink lines is clogged because I’m “not cleaning the printer daily,” which is absurd considering the printer has never worked, and I cannot print anything to begin with. As a result, several colours are currently unusable.

To be fair, the general customer service is available 24/7 and responds quickly. Unfortunately, the technical support team is only available at completely impractical hours, usually around 07:00 to 10:00 CET. Promised callbacks from supervisors never happened; I always had to reach out again myself. Each time, I had to explain the entire situation from scratch because no one bothered to read the chat history. They also repeatedly promised to send consumables, which only arrived once, but not the other times, when they promised things.

What’s even more frustrating is that at times, I genuinely felt not taken seriously by customer service, even with the simplest requests, such as asking for an email address for their complaints department. They refuse to provide any escalation contact at all, and everything is forced through the website chat. They repeatedly claim that they “value customer feedback” and that every issue is “carefully investigated,” yet my experience shows the complete opposite. None of my concerns were handled with the seriousness or thoroughness they insist on in every message.

Considering the amount of damage, the lack of accountability, and the ongoing unresolved issues, they can be lucky they are not based within the EU. If they were, this situation could have escalated legally a long time ago.

Bottom line: Despite the upgraded model, this printer has caused massive financial damage, endless frustration, and months of lost productivity. For a small business, this device has been a disaster. I absolutely cannot recommend this company.

Update 11.01:
On January 10th, I spent another morning with the technicians from 7am to 10am, even though I told them I only had one hour. We repeated the same steps again and again with the same predictable result: nothing worked. They told me to replace the ink cartridges, which I did later that day, but the printer still could not print. Customer service, as usual, could not help and scheduled yet another technician appointment.
The appointment was set for 10am ECT, yet they contacted me at 2am and 8am. When the call finally happened, they suddenly discovered that the printhead, already replaced once, had been delivered damaged.
They still refuse to give me a manager’s email. Since October, they keep promising that a manager will contact me, which has never happened. They also refuse to replace the printer because, according to them, the issue has now been “located,” the same excuse I have heard for months. Their explanation is that a replacement policy would not be profitable for them. I paid 3,000 EUR for the printer and another 4,000 EUR for the floor it damaged, but apparently the only financial risk they care about is their own.

Update 24.01: It has now been two weeks since the last appointment with them &the print head still hasn't been delivered. I’m curious to hear their excuse this time. I'll keep you posted.

Update 28.01:
Today, the customer service asked again for our address, even though it’s on file. The replacement, promised for this week, hasn’t even been shipped. The manager callback still hasn’t happened. I can’t wait to resell this printer. Avoid this company and spare yourself the hassle.

Update 16.02
The delivery was late (of course) and now they sent us the wrong printer head. : ) We are dealing with this since September, I am so over this company. Dont buy here, you'll get scammed too.

Ordered a print head for my L1800…

Ordered a print head for my L1800 printer and because it was not inksonic they said they couldn’t help. The print head was supposed to be new but I got a print head that had ink and looked used. I will never order from them again. I wish I could put pictures of what I got . Very unpleasant experience from beginning to end.

Cherry was amazing

Cherry was amazing! We thought I was having a memory board issue, but Cherry found it was a driver issue. She explained so much to me. I hope I get her next time, if I ever have another issue! I absolutely love, love, love my DTF printer!! Great investment!

No customer service available and old, outdated, watered down software.

I don't know how they are getting decent reviews. The customer support is non-existent. The only time you can get support is after 7:00PM CST. Then they only want to communicate through Whatsapp and there is at least 10 minutes in between responses. The software they sent is not even from this DECADE!! What they did send is a watered down clunky version that has no features so you can't control the quality of the prints whatsoever. Then the customer service tells you how to change make corrections, but the options aren't even available on the software. All of their videos show different software than what they send so it absolutely ZERO help. So, the people that are saying they are so helpful and the videos help so much are either paid or got something totally different than I did. I can't warn you enough..... Don't do it!!

Great service, okay printer

The customer service reps are highly responsive and will reply in a timely manner and offer technical support as needed. Customer service is very supportive and helpful and I’ve had to contact them quite a bit as the printer is new to me and I’ve had to contact them a lot on different things because of a learning curve as some issues.

I have an issue with the printer though. It doesn’t print consistent color. I had made shirt labels for our logo and the color comes out different in each print. Also when cleaning the head, it doesn’t seem to do the job at all. The nozzle print will show the same broken pattern no matter how many times I have cleaned the head. I’m not sure what the solution is and whether or not this is normal or if it’s a defective printer that I have. I hope it can be solved. All in all I’m very pleased with the service. As for the printer, at this price point I was hoping for more consistent results.
