This is my second pair of trailflys i normally wear gflys 300. They can be worn staight out of the box with no.issues, they fit true to size, the wide toe box is excellent and the comfort on.long trails the best i have ever experience. 1st pair did 1500 miles of Cheviot trail off road and also many a run in the sea. The only minor gripe is the sole started to split from upper on the inside step. Currently on Camino norte with second pair and they are fab.

Only 50 miles in, but loving them so far, if I could only have one pair of shoes, this would be it, the problem now is what do I do with the rest of my shoe rotation?

I love the new trailflys! I’m a woman but they’d sold out of the women’s blue version so I bought the men’s which are exactly the same fit (thank you Invo8 sales team for the advice). So far I’ve done 50 miles of running in Sweden on woodland mtb trails, gravel tracks, small sections of road & rocky ascents/descents & they’ve been grippy & unbelievably comfy straight out of the box. Standard fit is perfect for me & my feet don’t slip about inside like in my old trailflys. Looking forward to trying them at home on my local Yorkshire Dales routes.

A pretty incredible all round shoe. Comfortable, grippy, wide fit, not too cushioned. They size a bit small so I ordered a half size up and the fit was good.

I’ve worn several pairs of Inov8 G300 Ultrafly for 100 mile + races and they’ve really impressed me. I thought I’d try a pair of the new Trailfly for firmer surfaces. Because Inov8 have changed their sizing (width-wise) I sent an enquiry to ask for guidance. Using my current Inov8 shoes as a comparison. By mistake I sent the enquiry twice. The next day I received 2 replies from Inov8. One recommended that I buy the standard width Trailfly, while the other recommended that I buy the wide fit Trailfly. Hmm. With conflicting advice from the product experts, I chose the wide fit. I chose wrong. Inov8 shoes are very good. Inov8 customer services, not so much.

21 miles straight from the box. A plusher, more cushioned, more comfortable version of the G270v2. I love the G270v2, but the new TrailFlys offer more bounce for the runnable stuff and more heel cushioning for the downhills. I'll certainly be using these for an upcoming 100km coast path ultra.

Very comfortable with the wide toe area i did a long mountain run straight out the box and no hotspots i usually have on the older version not found them the best grip on the unseasonably wet trails in the muddy sections but not what I bought them for and I'm sure they are going to be a great shoe for upcoming ultras

Straight out the box & ran 50km down the Cornish coastal path in them. Went for the standard fitting which were super comfy & had no hot spots or blisters. Works very well on hard trails & wet rocks however I did slip over in some mud (which is understandable as they’re not talons) and nearly lost a shoe so will try the heel lock at some point. First time having 6mm drop & got used to it pretty quick. Will definitely be up for trying the Trailfly Speeds (4mm drop) once they come out in standard fitting. All in all, great trainers for hard rocky trails & can see myself doing many miles in them once this endless rain stops!

Terrific update with a redesign that has more toe room. Much needed. Cushioning is very good without being too much ie when cornering the cushioning retains much its shape. Like the colourway. Very pleased. Can’t comment on traction but haven’t slipped yet despite recent weather. Ankle stays locked. Great shoes.

Stupidly ordered wrong size as looked at USA size in error. Didn’t realise until put on but they’re just a bit too big. My fault. Other than this, the socks are really comfortable and have so far been good on the few runs I’ve worn them.
