We used the CDG pick-up service and the phone. Our driver was on time and got us out of the airport faster than ever. He delivered us to our hotel in no time at all. The phone was a great deal. We used it a lot and took advantage of the hot spot so three of us could use data. The staff were always easy to reach and very helpful when we were lost! If AVAILABLE We will never travel without INSIDER,,,,..Thank you for making our Paris trip a wonderful experience.

Found this online and decided to try it. Really made our trip to Paris easy and seamless. Maps, apps to find restaurants, find easy Metro routes to where we wanted to be, and the ability to call back to North America (US and Canada) really made a positive difference on our trip. The live feature allowed us to see when lines were short at museums, when we could expect longer waits, and saved us time. Weather forecasts to help us plan. Icing on the cake was the live service - messaging with a local person to get small things done. They helped us rent a car last minute to drive and see some cities outside Paris without booking a bus trip. They also helped us find a great store to buy a specific gift for family back home.

We know our son had difficulties with using a sim card bought when he landed in Paris. It was glitchy and difficult and expensive. We wanted to avoid that, and INSIDR was a perfect solution at a reasonable price. It really made our trip hassle free!

Highly recommended, wish this service existed for all our travel. After a littlest of bumpy communication during reservations (NYC to France, time zones, hours of business, etc) we had a great experience. And, once I caught up with people at INSIDR the booking went well, too. Once in Paris we used our INSIDR phones for everything. Being able to use them as hotspots for our US phones was great. The concierge service for restaurant suggestions & reservations was beyond fantastic. We were even able to get an add-on to use the phones for our day trip to London. The only tiny issue I had was that the GPS in the phone didn't always work well for Google map directions but it always reset quickly enough. Price was very reasonable, too.

My husband and I really enjoyed using the phone and services from INSIDR in Paris. Besides just having a phone, INSIDR provided a concierge service (suggestions, reservations, etc.) that worked well for us. Also, the City Mapper app on the LG phone helped us get around. It even indicated where on the Metro train we should get on (front, middle, back) and which exit to take out of the station.

The INSIDR phone was magnifique! We loved the convenience of having a local phone and reliable Wi-Fi throughout our stay in Paris and Bordeaux. The local apps and mapping services were spot on! I would not travel to France again with out it. Definitely recommend the Paris INSIDR phone.

This is first time I used INSIDR Paris when I visited paris last year. They advised a lot of information when we are going to find the way to the destination.Really appreciated all the INSIDR Paris team to help us make the trip more easier to enjoy the beautiful city.And I reservated the car to the airport, it ‘s clean and comfortable. The driver is gentleman to help to take our packages. I will still use INSIDR next time when I visit Paris or another places next time.

Its not just a rented cell phone but the whole Insidr team that goes along with it that made it a great experience and value. They are full of local knowledge, current events, transportation tips,...you ask for it and you'll quickly get a response. I wish they were available wherever I travel!

I was so pleased to have found this service on-line and would highly recommend it to all. I consider INSIDR the most valuable resource I had while in Paris and touring France. With this service, I had both ample data (I kept in daily contact with friends on FB) and real-time help in Paris and area when needed - ie. finding an address, finding a specific service, recommending a tasty restaurant, having a parking sign translated, making a reservation, solving a technical problem. Within 5 minutes, I had a response to any inquiry and was given the help I needed. As well, I actually met the team that worked on my behalf; they are real people and I was delighted to have a visit with them. Pick-up and return is easy from the airport. I will definitely arrange to have INSIDR in place again next I visit Paris. There is no question; I am convinced they are the best there is. Well worth it!

We had a great experience using INSIDR on our trip to France from Paris to Antibes. We initially thought about using our carriers’ International Day Pass plan, however we determined that INSIDR would be a better value. We used the hotspot feature of the INSIDR phone for WiFi Calling on our devices throughout our stay. The real value of INSIDR is their Concierge service. They made recommendations that gave us a much more memorable experience of our visit to France. It was like having a trusted friend with you at all times. Unfortunately, we didn’t take advantage of all the useful features included with the service. We highly recommend INSIDR while traveling in France and elsewhere as their service area expands.

It was amazing. Convenient pick up at CDG airport. My brother lost his phone in an uber. We called the phone but neither of us speak French. Fortunately the great people at Insidr were able to call the drive and he dropped it off to us. They went above and beyond

Great idea for those who want to use a phone from overseas for data and maps but don't want to pay a fortune bringing their own from home. Staff were great and answered messages really quick. I would use again.

Discovered this amazing service just before a 10 day trip to Paris last spring.
The device and charger were delivered in person to our hotel the afternoon we arrived, the young woman explained everything very clearly and it was enjoyable meeting her.
The device was invaluable , a real person to speak with if there was a problem, makes free calls in France ,calling uber was fantastic, cafes reviews, info on tours, tickets at museums ,jump the lines, etc.
I used it non stop the whole time ,only caveat is the usual barely issue with all devices you must carry a portable charger , included in the package with you but it was small so no big deal.
All in all I heartily recommend this service and have already told a number off people about it. Enjoy your trip in a foreign city without any hassles.

I've had occasion in previous years to rent a cell phone during trips to Europe, but there were often complications and inconvenient pickup and drop-off locations. What a marvelous change! The people at INSIDR are helpful, kind, friendly and well spoken. Not only did we have a phone to which we could tether our other phones during our two week stay, but the phone itself was preloaded with immensely useful apps. In addition, having the phone connects the user with a community of "insiders" who are able to give up to the minute recommendations for dining, sightseeing and anything else one needs to know.

A lovely young lady brought the phone to our rental flat and demonstrated its use. She and her colleagues could also arrange for tickets to events, museums, and other destinations. The device worked perfectly, and all we had to do was drop it off at the airport on our way home. We saved an enormous amount of money not having to pay roaming charges because all four of us could tether to the INSIDR phone. Having a 'local' phone number was also extremely useful so that our Paris friends could reach us easily, and to access, through an app, the garage space we rented for our rental car.

I will use the services of this excellent company every time I am in Paris. If I could give them more than five stars, I absolutely would. Merci beaucoup to Nina and her friendly, efficient team.

The Insidr team was always there to answer questions and give helpful information. It was great to have the Insidr phone available. We used it extensively for both walking and transit directions.

The pocket wifi worked excellent. No problem. Recommended that you get the wifi phone. Same cost.

Wonderful experience with Insidr! The phone was amazing. The apps that were installed helped us tremendously while we were in Paris. They kindly met us at CDG airport, and even waited when we were delayed. The best feature was the availability to text questions and receive prompt answers in English. Insidr was so helpful and worth every penny.
