My first unit failed after only 4 months of use. Insinkerator replaced it without question.
I could not be without my waste disposal unit - far cleaner and sanitary than a food waste bin- and so quiet. Mine is in an open plan kitchen diner and is not at all distracting

Item was inspected by engineer and deemed to be user inflicted as a screw had fallen in and pierced the casing so device was condemned EVEN Though the engineer took the Condemned unit with him ( probably to recondition and resell) Was offered opportunity to buy a replacement unit @ £350/400 which I declined as that was more than the original cost. I will revert to scraping waste into the trash. And charged me an additional £170 for the privilege to boot to revert sink back to a standard drain

I bought an Insinkerator 460 but couldn't get it to power on. I phoned the customer support number shown on the side of the unit and they answered quickly and explained I needed to hook up the air switch to activate it and then remove it (we don't need it). The air switch was missing in the box so they have arranged to post out a new one.

Excellent service. The guy I spoke to was really helpful. Our hot water tap started leaking after around 3.5 years of use. No question or quibble, the tap has been replaced under warranty within weeks. Excellent service from the customer service team and the fitter.

I ordered an upgrade to an old model. The item was well packaged with every extra though not all needed,
Very comprehensive instructions but after two hours of trying to sort out the air switch connection realised the instructions with no model indication was fir the wrong model. Do not leave the instruction to the seller but put it with the goods at the point of packaging.

My INSINKERATOR was a month out of warranty but leaking from the base of the unit. This unit was a replacement for an earlier one which developed exactly the same problem and I paid a reduced amount for its replacement. Having explained the circumstances and provided evidence of my purchase the CUSTOMER CARE team quickly reviewed my case and agreed that INKSINKERATOR would replace the unit at no cost to me. The replacement has was delivered three days later which I think is outstanding service.
