Same as all other reviews. Contacted by Jake Howard shortly after placing ad online to say he would offer full price if I completed the report. Once I sent screenshots of reviews, I was blocked.

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!

TODAY'S NAME KELVIN JAY!
I also have a motorcycle on FB Marketplace, and within 30 minutes, someone named Kelvin Jay contacted me. His account is, of course, locked, and this is 100% a scam.

He immediately said the price was absolutely fine and that he was more than willing to pay the full asking price—as long as I got a report first via a link!! I told him that wasn’t happening since I get my reports from a legitimate site I’ve used before. Next thing I know, I’m blocked!

I decided to check out the site he sent, and—surprise—it seems like a genuine scam. Beware!

This seems to be an exact copy of what has happened to me. I hadn’t finished posting the ad on FB marketplace and straight away had a guy called Ryan Palmer. Very persistent and wanted to come round as soon as I get a report done for £23 which gives criminal, accidents, theft etc details. Said his father was a retired mechanic and the price was right so definitely buy after report done. I told him I’d seen reports on trustpilot - might be genuine but his pattern was the same as reports on Trustpilot. I sent him a screen shot of these reviews and he instantly blocked me

Cope and pass , same as you guys lost 23£ but got the report. Payed from top up card so no need to worry. But Correy Warren comes around as persistent car buyer wants me to get this report . I’ve checked all to late I’m afraid. Good lesson for the future, reported to FB and blocked future payments for this webside . Eyes around the head this days ….

This seems to be an exact copy of what has happened to me. I hadn’t finished posting the ad on FB marketplace and straight away had a guy called David Palmer who has 83 friends from Norwich, but his account is locked. Very persistent and wanted to come round as soon as I get a report done for £23 which gives criminal, accidents, theft etc details. Was happy to pay for the report when buying the car. Said his father was a retired mechanic and the price was right so definitely buy after report done. I told him I’d seen reports on trustpilot - might be genuine but his pattern was the same as reports on Trustpilot.

Inspectcarinfo is also a spoof/scam fb messenger link that I was given soon after advertising my car for sale, the scammer contacted me, his fb profile locked which raised alarm bells...organised to view the car, set a date and time, then requested am ICI report, fortunately I repeatedly stated its on the buyer to do their own back ground checks...to which he went quiet...blocked him....anyone selling a car, its up to the buyer to do checks not the seller to provide.

As with all the other reviews Total Scam

As with all the other reviews, vehicle sale on market place, within a few minutes of posting, I have an Emily Brown (locked account) wanting to buy the car for the asking price. Was very adamant that I use this Inspect Vehicle site for a report, and was even more insistant that it was only £23.00. And even said that she would give me the money back. I almost did, stupid of me I know, and clicked the link ready to do the report, but then came to my senses and closed the link. I declined several times and told them to come and have a look at the car and take it for a test drive, because apparently, the post code they gave me was only 15 minutes drive away. 30 minutes later, I had a notification from Facebook asking if I was trying to log in from America. Obviously all linked. Passwords changed and now even more aware of the scam artists trying to rob you blind.

Obvious scam

Obvious scam. I advertised my car on Facebook Marketplace. “Potential buyer” contacted me super eager to buy car at advertised price as long as I clicked on link Robyn Kale gave me to this site and pay £23 for their report. Robyn Kale from Facebook said She’d pay me back. I’d already sent her a vehicle report I’d commissioned from AA, but this was not good enough for her!! Don’t fall for it. Also checked this company details from company house and found quite useful information and found owner but this name is not from that specific nationality. I will complain to both company house and financial departments for investigation. I am on the case. for payment method they use Techs N Technology other company which I am still trying to trace. Other customers I highly encourage please kindly report to citizen advise bureau, financial ombudsman and company houses. Please note now Robyn Kale closed her Facebook profile, as scam has been reported to all the parties. please report to police and other relevant parties. I think this scammer lives near Oxford or Didcot. as he mentioned about Didcot Hospital. They gave me this number 07849367125, which is already reported on this page in other posts. shocking.

Total scam

Had bike up for sale on marketplace. Guy messaged interested. Wanted us to do a VI report. He even called me from this number +447849367125. Luckily didn’t fall for it. Said his name was James Byrne (locked profile on FB). Once I told him where to go he, of course, immediately blocked me. TOTAL SCAM. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR IT.
