Outstanding support
What a great product, agree it can be little complex when setting up. BUT this is where the customer support comes in. Which, from my experience has without doubt been second to none! One of my customers has 4 properties that i look after and all have this system. It works great, so much so I’ve got one in my house now. Arrianne has been an absolute star, nothing has been too much trouble, helping me get my system updated and running
Slow response but good advice.
Slow response but good advice.
Telephone and internet support was slow in responding to problems but once I could speak to a technical assistant the advice was good.
This is a poor product that does not…
It took me 2 hours to get this connected, customer service open times are limited, seems a complicated process to get it set-up.
We are a returning customer and we were…
We are a returning customer and we were always very happy with the product but also with the customer service from Georgina or Ariana
Many thanks
Excellent for HMO landlord
Thermostat gives great control over the HMO property, which is essential in the current climate with energy bills soaring! The Ignite product provides even more control and locks, versus home products like Google Nest. The support of the team is also excellent with helping me to understand the various controls and configuration best suited for the property.

I ordered the product for tank system boiler but the product came for combi boiler.
Please make sure your staff check with customers if they have combi or system boiler. Need to return the product and then I ll find out how good is your company in processing returns.

Poor customer service
Poor customer service, given wrong information to encourage me to order. No response to multiple queries then after ordering was sent an email to say there was a 4 week delay. Finally failure to communicate or acknowledge my order cancellation as I couldn’t wait 4 weeks.
Fast response to this Trust pilot review though

Once installed very easy to set profiles.
My HMO tennats where leaving the heating on pretty much 24/7 and if it got to hot opened a window. Last months gas bill £140 for gas alone.
Two days into using the thermostat and it is brilliant I should easily get the money back I paid for it within 3 months

Great product - Guarantee not long enough, mobile app annoyingly complex.
Great product, but one of my units failed after 4 years and cost me the price of a new unit plus 2 x callouts and a heating system that became non-functional.
I'm not blaming the company as things do go wrong. But this is an expensive product, if it fails within 5 years then there is no cost saving as the cost of replacement is high. The guarantee should be extended to cover a unit for at least 5 years, not 3.
Also, web dashboard is over complex, mobile app is too complex with some very annoying quirks. It's like someone at the company thinks that the average person knows complex engineering schematics and jargon.
Sorry Inspire, but you could do better.

Absolutely fantastic system
Absolutely fantastic system. Easy to install and connect up. As an HMO landlord we suffer with tenants wastefulness of heat. This system allows us to take back control. It also allows us to identify problem rooms as each room is now fitted with a heat and moisture sensor.. For example if a room shows a heat spike on the graph then we know to check it for an electric heater.
We are now installing this system into all of our HMO properties

Excellent product
I am the landlord of an HMO and was looking for a way to control heating bills given the rapid increase in energy charges. I looked at several systems and am really very pleased that I chose this system. It enables me to give my tenants some control through the boost system, but gives me the peace of mind that I can set the main parameters from home. I can even vary the boost length if I want. It’s an invaluable tool in keeping costs under control, while still being a responsible landlord. It’s simple to use and the customer service from Amy and Georgina is first class, companies should learn from them. I only wish I had installed it sooner.

Purchased the landlord wireless version…
Purchased the landlord wireless version as I have a HMO that cannot seem to control their heating very well. Had been looking at these types of things for a while and looked at the various makes.
Before I purchased I spent an hour on the phone with Amy who was very helpful and cleared up any questions I had as it is a fair outlay. Amy also followed up the day after I installed the unit so this was good as I did have a question and would have otherwise been calling that day so saved me the bother.
For me this one came out on top because it had an online management and history. I wanted this so that you would not need to visit the property to edit a schedule or temperature for example. Also crucial for me was the fact that because it is online there is sight of what is going on such as how many times boost is being used and the temperatures throughout. This will help to optimise the property and give me proof of how the system is being used or abused. It was the most expensive option but since no-one has to visit site to manage the devices then that cost saving to me or the agent to attend is already taken care of in as little as two visits.
The install was straight forward in my case as there was already a hive at the property so effectively a straight swap. I opted to install first at my own house (hive swap also) so that I could play with the device and all settings so that we could understand it fully. I was also then able to clone the wireless settings in the HMO to mine in order to fully set up the device and then make the final install faster on the day.
Getting the device connected at first to WIFI was nearly straight forward. I found it far easier to do it all from the phone the first time round especially using access mode as a computer would not connect to the devices wireless network itself. I used the access mode option as I do not use WPS. Make sure you do all the steps as it was easy to miss one when on wireless setup as access mode.
Since the above all sounds great and cannot fault why have I given it 4 stars. I have marked down because the management website is poor in my opinion. It looks very dated, some of the way things are worded as descriptions and headers takes some reading and re-reading. The consistency is also off as some things highlight the set button and some do not so ensure whenever you change anything you hit set button of that section whenever you make change as if you browse off that page to check something it will have lost the changes, failing that open another browser window to do the checking while staying on the page you are making changes to.
I would not let that put you off as in my case it is not a thing I would use much because I am not allowing the HMO tenants to use it but it is very comprehensive and manageable compared to Hive for example. Once setup it will also only require minimal changes and if you were buying this for your own residential house again once setup the frequency of chances you are likely to make infrequent. You would generally be using the front page to hit boost or something so in the regards it is easy. The issue is that we are used to a more polished interface and the dates in the pages said 2012 so it may not have been refreshed since and probably should be. The pictures of the thermostat are also slightly wrong with regards to a boost count down timer as I have confirmed with the manufacturer that it now longer has this on my system anyway.

From the very first email enquiry to phone calls the staff have been absolutely excellent. They know the products well, can help choose the correct product and what’s even better is that the Thermostat is brilliant. (Far, far, better than that other useless Thermostat that birds like to have eggs in!)
Cheers Inspire.

A truly fantastic system!
We have a holiday let on the Yorkshire coast and fitted our thermostat a couple of years ago. It is very easy to monitor and set from our own home via a PC and allows us to switch to cooler settings when noone is using the property. Also the ability to adjust the limits of the guest manual override gives us great control over they system which resets to our chosen profile at times of our choosing. A truly fantastic system!

Friendly and personable service!
We had a malfunctioning unit, and initially, Inspire wasn't able to confirm this but our electrician had to step in. Then, there was a delay of several days (including a weekend) awaiting 'approval' of the return; however, once that was in place everything happened quickly and smoothly.
