Driver continously put in wrong code to…

Driver continously put in wrong code to get in gate so my order was canceled. There was a walk thru gate but she refused to use it. So my order was canceled and I was charged a 15.00 dollars cancelation fees. It will be a cold day in hell for that fee.

I have used Instacart since Covid and…

I have used Instacart since Covid and have really appreciated the service. Their customer service is so unhelpful and unkind I can no longer use the service. They also now require a pin for delivery which makes it a lot less convenient. I can’t recommend

This company is terrible to their…

This company is terrible to their customers. I placed an order yesterday and the driver reported it as delivered but never delivered it and I've chatted with like 3 people and none of them will help me beyond a $5 credit and a refund that is going to take a while to get back on my card. So, now I'm without my groceries and the money to buy more. What they should have done is gave me the credit to cover my stolen order while I wait for my refund. That would be proper customer service, especially when we are dealing with something as sensitive as food. I have no choice but to delete my Instacart account and never use it again. I can't trust them to make things right or to protect me as a customer. They really are just gonna let you go hungry, it's shameful.

Terrible experience

The shopper was left instructions to hand me my order. The shopper decided to leave my order at another address at the back door. Now, I sent the shopper a message via the app.... they never responded. I could see them on the app driving around. But, the app said that they multiple orders. So, I assumed that they were dropping off the other orders. Not lost. But, why wouldn't you ask for directions if you were unsure?? After I reduced their tip. The shopper contacted me. Instacart Customer Service is TRASH!!! They sent me an email saying they removed the shopper from my profile. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with that information. I highly doubt I'll be using them again.

Incorrect deliveries over and over

This company has time and time again delivered incorrectly (wrong house/wrong doors) without so much as an apology or attempt to make things right. My items have nearly been stolen by whom the order was delivered to on several occasions. Despite me being vigilant watching and waiting for my order to be delivered. I find Instacart hardly being accommodating and accountable.

Don't trust this service

Don't trust this service. I ordered 50' of 1/2" x 10' pieces of conduit or pipe,and they delivered 25' of 1/2" x 5' pieces of pipe. I messaged them they got the order wrong. They credit me $26.00 for instacart credit. Wtf!! I messaged them and they said they couldn't refund me the total bc they needed to pay their services. They messed up and I had to pay for their mistake. No way to do service. That's fraud. Buyer be ware!!!!!

Terrible Experience

If I could give our shopper, Kenya, a 0 I would. We had a fairly small order, but we did order a case of water to a rental apartment. She called and said it was too heavy to carry (although we paid a heavy weight service fee of $5.63 in addition to the $7.99 delivery fee). She dropped the water in the street and the bottles rolled down the hill. She grabbed 3 bottles and threw them on a chair in the lobby with the other 3-4 bags of groceries. We spent over an hour on the phone with InstaCart trying to rectify the situation. They refunded the damaged goods, but would not refund the delivery fee (which is ok since other goods were, in fact, delivered). However, we still had basically no water and they would not send another driver with a case of water. The moral of the story is, if you want it done right, do it yourself. If you do use InstaCart, do NOT use Kenya as your shopper.

Instacart infects its customers I heard with needles and is a slave company

Instacart is a slave company. Not only that I was told by 6 different people how they were injecting the food with diseases so customers can’t see. I was told that when customers tip less than $5 dollars the urinate over the items then let it dry . The dude said he opened a customers bread and sprayed it with pee he had in a spray bottle. Who thinks of something like that. The girl said she stuck holes in items so I’m telling the world do Not use Instacart for anything . Your life is more important than a delivery. Instacart pays its workers $5 for each order so if you don’t tip they are pretty much shopping for you for free. If you don’t want that to happen either tip these people who are out shopping for you all or don’t use the service. Then they said the customers have all these request and want you to pick out good food for a $1 or $2.00 tio is insane and I particularly don’t feel bad because I would never do anyone like that especially with me knowing how these platforms steal and pay it’s workers nothing. All the gas and time they spend so I do understand how they feel. If you don’t want to be infected or have your food tampered with either tip decent or do not order from Instacart ever

Disappointed with customer service

Disappointed with customer service. Driver didn't have gate code and texted once. No phone call. Then canceled my $200 grocery delivery order. Customer service was not helpful at all.

Called customer service to get help with recalled items, very rude. Didn't help at all. Couldn't give me a refund, said they would follow up. No one ever did. They hung up on me. No one ever called back. Worst service and unprofessional service.

Unprofessional, incompetent …

I’ve been an Instacart customer for over a year now. I even have an account with them where I pay yearly for free delivery , even though the prices rack up with service fees and tips. Everytime my item is missing and I send proof they never refund me. I have to go through an “appeal” process and submit the proof again, pictures and screenshots, but they still refuse to refund even if it’s a $7 item that is missing or that I received the wrong item. I’ll show them the picture of the wrong item and they’ll still refuse to refund. I’ll also get random charges from Instacart that I do not where they’re coming from. I keep having to call them and the issue barely ever gets resolved. It’s disheartening and annoying. I think I’m going to cancel my account and use a different delivery service.

Instacart will not refund money or help returning an unopened retail item

I've used Instacart for years - specifically for grocery delivery. I've never had issues, and the drivers have been fantastic. Unfortunately, I recvently had an experience that was not only dissapointing, but extremely frustrating.
On 3-13-26, I ordered a car seat for one of my granddaughters who was coming to visit the following day. She ended up with the flu and the visit was cancelled. The car seat I ordered was still in the box (unopened). I took my receipt along with the unopened box to Target for a refund, and I was told I needed to contact Instacart. They were the third party that collected the money-so I needed to go through them.
After 4 calls/chats with Instacart and three calls to Target...no one would help. Instacart finally told me there is nothing they could do to help.
Bottom line, I have a brand new-unopened car seat that cost $182.00. (My total charge was 222).

RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF. placed an order at aldi but ended up cancelling the order due to no shopper being available. Now my account has been charged double by aldi from a different store than the one I ordered for. Looking into filing a police report for theft. You are an awful company with thieves working for u. STAY AWAY.

You wonder why these people don't care about these orders, instacart treat the workers like slaves paying them $9 for a batch with 100 items that's not a quarter an item then they have that you're get a tip but as soon as you do it they take the tip back😵My LAST DAY!!They are scamming the workers, I was 1 away from getting the reward guarantee and the $250 sign up to and today one batch away while I'm in line the app crashes we I try to get help they tell me that I deleted my account in the middle of doing an order🤨 Really! Then they say they can't find my account or anything saying on my account because it was DELETED. Then they told me I can start a new account 🙄 😒 SCAMMING! I only did it for my grandson to get the $250 and I would had it in 4 days they would have been paying out $635 today. But the deleted my account and told me to start a new one🖕🖕🖕🖕instacart
