The Bedbugs upsells syndrom
UP to now I have never used the program and I will never buy anything more from this company if you dont remove upsells or be transparent. You know that your program is lacking some important tools and you sell an unfinished product that is very discouraging.You should at least give us who bought the lifetime upgrades for free and then make subscribers to pay for the rest slowly at a monthly cost which will make you to make money easily and avoid the ai syndrome to oversell.that is less agressive than trying to oversell at. One time. Still softwares without ai are still attractive and affordable. Ai credits is a scheme for greed working less and trying to squeeze the money out of customers.invest in servors that are not costly.Remember I know where to buy to get what you're selling and more for a fraction of a price.If you dont fix this you will remain with bad reviews and i will use paul ponna's 2 doodle apps its $67 with color and built in voice over.I have seen better so you need to think twice createstudio is even much more better it offers 3d animation intro ,3d characters, doodle, voice over, text animation and it is much more their prices make sense even when upgrading.You guys need to analyze the market better and understand how to prize well.The worst thing is that some of you dont listen.We try to help you but you think we hate you and that we are desperate.We are not there is many options. Wow. So much to go through but I will keep it short.
Advertised as ONE payment, ONCE.
Forget that because they will constantly ask for upgrades for advantanced features that aren't mentioned anywhere on the *main page*
This is a classic sales-funnel-to-nowhere plot from the 90s and early 00s with a slick sales spiel.
Don't buy it. You're better off going to fiverr and hiring someone to do your animation rather than jump through the never ending cost hoops of this website

Getting a refund is a NIGHTMARE
This company has very basic-level AI and animations. I purchased both the $37 color package and the $97 upgrade. It only took about 24 hours to realize I can do all of this on Canva for free. Do NOT buy. Ihave requested a refund now twice and they are giving me the run around. Believe the other reviews about the hassle of getting a refund. What a nightmare

Lots of hidden costs
I am extremely disappointed with my purchase. The product is marketed as a once-off, “lifetime” offer, but there are many hidden costs. I upgraded from Basic to Pro, and after testing it (collecting specific images for my projects) briefly, I already ran out of credits. On top of that, there are continuous prompts to upgrade further for more features or to pay a monthly fee — which goes against the whole idea of a once-off lifetime offer.
For the amount I paid, I expected far more value and freedom to create. After checking other reviews, I noticed many customers have the same complaints, which confirms this is a wider issue.
Overall, it has not been worth the money and I would not recommend it.
May I please request a refund? I am genuinely unhappy with this purchase and it did not meet my expectations.

Deceptive marketing practices are despicable
Upsells are fine in any business with any offer. They pulled me in with the InstaDoodle and upsold me to Pro. They gave one-time fees so I took them.
Next in the funnel was their AI Wizard which was on offer for LIFETIME for another one-time fee similar to the earlier upsell to InstaDoodle Pro.
Some months after purchase, I finally decided to use the product and test out the AI Wizard. Lo and behold, I had credits and they were running out. I was like well that's fine, since it was a lifetime purchase, they'd renew.
I reached out to customer care and they said nah. We give you some credits that wouldn't expire, but when they're done you gotta pay monthly for those.
You basically pay $67 for lifetime access to the AI Wizard and get 150 AI credits. Had I known this was the case I would not have purchased the AI Wizard or even InstaDoodle in the first place.
The only reason they got the 2nd star is because the tools are ok. The negative business practices and likely intentionally misleading messaging outweigh the pros for me.

Great product and exceptional team!
I did not enjoy my experience on my first purchase with Instadoodle. My nephew was interested in Instadoodle and I bought a lifetime plan, but we were left disappointed as we didn't get all we were looking forward to. I wrote a 1 star review here on trustpilot snd sent a message to the support team, requesting for a refund. I was refunded but then my nephew's friend got him all interested again and we decided to give it another go. I purchased a lifetime access plan again and gained so much more! Thank you, Instadoodle, for being men of your words indeed. Your team is exceptional and you have created a great product. My nephew and his friend are now so excited to create contents on there and are really grateful. Definitely worth it.

Subscription with upfront payment
This is a great platform, but it is damaged by their approach to credits. I didn't pay for the AI features, and I'm pleased I didn't. You receive 150 credits to start with, but once these are depleted, you will need to pay at least $37 per month to continue using AI credits. A better solution for many is to have the ability to purchase the credits they need, rather than making a major commitment of $37 per month. Or at least a lower-cost AI Credit tier that reflects low usage.
You believe you are making a one-time purchase for the AI features, but to use them, you must commit to a significant monthly charge, which I believe is not clearly explained.
To be clear, I can continue to use Instadoodle without their AI features, but that was the upgrade I had planned to make. Now the platform will not meet my original aspiration.

Excellent Support and Clear Explanations
Initially, I was disappointed with my experience using InstaDoodle and requested a refund. However, the way the team handled my concerns completely changed my perspective. They responded promptly, listened carefully, and provided clear, helpful explanations.
What stood out most was their transparency in explaining how the credit system works. Creating and rendering videos with the built-in library, previous doodles, or your own uploaded images do not use credits. Credits are only required when generating brand-new custom doodle elements, custom AI voiceovers, or when using the AI Wizard to manage an entire project. This system fairly covers the additional computing costs without increasing prices for everyone.
Although I have not yet explored every feature in depth, the professionalism, clarity, and support I have received give me confidence that InstaDoodle is worth sticking with. I’m looking forward to using it more

Then you buy your awesome deal with so many cool features, and the first page you get AFTER buying is the "Join the Premium club for $70" to get those things you THOUGHT you just bought. After that, you have the chance to buy MORE of you thought you just paid for, but didn't. That low, intro price is a "gotcha" that doesn't give you half of what they say you'll get until you buy the super premium ultra deluxe add-on package.

I am really bummed that all I get are other offers to continue to purchase more and more to make it better. Origianally it was supposed to be a one-time payment. What I have found out is that you need to purchase the pro to make them better, and purchase

False, deceptive sales techniques, this is not a life time deal, they are scamming people
The business is using false or deceptive ads leaving out important information and using aggressive sales techniques to sell their app. They upsell different services once you make a purchase. They promised no fees for the lifetime deal but now I have to pay subscription based fees to use the app's AI function. I have saved the ads copy and went through every bit of the ads I could not find any information which says that I have to pay for the AI functions. You realise you have to pay for AI credits like a subscription model which is deceptive and withholding information as you advertise selling lifetime deals. If you are selling subscription then it should be clarified on your landing page. The approach taken by this business is deceptive in nature. I contacted the support team but they respond with standardised answer no solution like refund or AI credits. In the beginning I did not use the app much so I did not realise that they are selling subscription in the name of lifetime deal. I have to pay for AI credits now as the 14 days are passed because I trusted their ads's word and did not use the app in the beginning. Shame on you Instadoodle for cheating people. This is not marketing this is cheating to people's trust and you cannot sustain for long if you play with people's trust.

Absolutely awful product
Absolutely awful product. They offer you an ‘all inclusive package’ with a ‘one off payment’ then when you go to use some of the basic applications like AI voiceover, they charge you extra for it. Graphics are very basic and definitely NOT worth the money. Customer Service is non-existent. They’re not interested in offering help/support, they’re only interested in scamming people. I am currently taking legal action to obtain a refund which they have refused to issue. AVOID

Big SCAM, RUN AWAY
They say its a one time purchase but it's Paywall, after paywall after paywall after subscription if you want to use what they actually present. As predatory as it can get.
The system only allows you to do 3000 character generation, so never expect to make a video, maybe just shorts. Its rendering is also super slow.
They say: "No free trial but 14 day money back no questions asked"
I request refund first thing I get:
Why are you refunding?
We give you pro to stay you ok with that?
...
TLDR: Everything is a lie on their website, they just scam people and think that kharma does not exist.
