My airfryer drawer wouldn't close I contacted instant pot and they resolved the problem quick and efficiently with a replacement I love my airfryer great size and the added bonus of a divider would highly recommend the company 😊

My Instant Pot Vortex Plus Air Fryer…

My Instant Pot Vortex Plus Air Fryer developed a fault on the digital display just over a year after purchase. Instant Pot managed the replacement process very well without any hitches. On the basis of this experience, I would be happy to purchase again.

Amazing Instant Pot

Instant Pot UK are an absolutely first class retailer, I received my Instant Pot very quickly after ordering it online and at a very reasonable price. I got in touch with their after sales support team and I received prompt first class customer service from their colleague Kurt.
The Instant Pot is amazing, it creates delicious meals in minutes, I thoroughly recommend the Instant Pot and also Instant Pot as a retailer.

Confused and disappointed buyer.

Ordered a vortex air fryer from instant pot uk site, through a deal I saw on money saving expert…order was placed in July and I still haven’t received my order! I have used their contact form on their site and sent emails but getting nothing back. £59 I wish I spent elsewhere.

The Airfrier is fab …

The Airfrier is fab, can fit a small chicken in and can view with sufficient lighting through the front glass. However, I feel that the fat tray at the bottom should be somewhat deeper as it has previously overflowed.

exceptionally poor customer service

Impossible to return a brand new faulty item. Unintelligent customer service agent asking the most ridiculous questions, thinking I am trying to claim under their warranty. I made the mistake of buying the instant pot rice cooker that claims to reduce the carb content of cooked rice by up to 40%. I'd be curious to see the scientific evidence to support this claim that I stupidly fell for! I couldn't even get the rice fully cooked with this function and when I opened the lid after a long cooking period, it became apparent the steam filter didn't work as a considerable amount of condensation water seeped back into my rice. I have been asked the most silliest of questions, the best one of which was, what RICE did I use in their RICE cooker. I used basmati RICE if that makes any difference which it doesn't! I have now given up and have raised a dispute via PayPal and I can't keep replying to emails when all I've asked for is a pre paid returns label.

Positive update after initial poor customer service.

Update: Instant Brands UK have been in touch with me via telephone as there has been a mix up through communication channels across jurisdictions. I have provided more information, they have ascertained that there is a fault and have said that the unit will be replaced within 3-5 working days.

Original Review:
I purchased an Instant Vortex air fryer directly from Instant Pot UK expecting good quality and reliability. It developed a serious fault just two weeks after the 12-month warranty ended. Customer service were completely unhelpful and refused to assist, hiding behind the warranty even though the appliance clearly has not lasted a reasonable amount of time for a product of this price and reputation.

What made matters worse was the awful customer service process — I wasted several hours going back and forth on their online chat, which appears to be mostly automated, and then having to follow up via email. I was repeatedly asked for the same information I had already provided and even asked to list the exact recipe I had been cooking when the fault occurred. None of this was relevant to the fact the unit had failed, and after all that effort they still just quoted warranty terms at me via email.

To make it more frustrating, I’ve seen other customers here mention they received replacements just outside the warranty period, so clearly they apply their rules inconsistently.

If I’d bought this from John Lewis I would have had a 2-year warranty included and wouldn’t be in this situation. Buying directly from the manufacturer turned out to be a mistake and they don’t seem to stand behind their own products or care about customer loyalty.

Very disappointed and would urge anyone to think twice about purchasing directly from Instant Pot due to poor customer service compared to other retailers who sell similar products.

A great deal in conjunction with money…

A great deal in conjunction with money saving expert! Air fryer dual vortex.
After a few weeks air fryer had a minor defect, Customer Service (Brodie) gave prompt polite and efficient service by despatching a replacement machine within a few days.

Great deal and good service and delivery

Fantastic deal in conjunction with money saving expert! Air fryer dual vortex - never had one before but loving it so far and friends who have them already are impressed with all its features.
Easy to order and it was delivered in about a week.

Bad customer service…

Not amused their Instant 4-1 Vortex 3.8ltr airfryer has been nothing but trouble since bought in only November 2022!! Now the airfryer button on the digital display has decided it’s not going to go past a minute of airfrying! I’ve heard others have had this complaint and it’s very poor customer service when you can’t call someone and have to email because your customer service answering machine says you don’t take calls anymore!! An airfryer is not a lot of good if the airfryer part doesn’t work! Very unimpressed!

Brilliant little air fryer!

Love this! Compact but fits loads – I’ve cooked a small chicken and big batches of chips no problem. The window’s great for checking food without opening it, and there’s no lingering smell thanks to the filter.

Cooks way quicker than my oven and uses less energy. Everything comes out crispy and tasty, and the drawer goes straight in the dishwasher. Easy, quick, and does exactly what it says.
