How this company uses Trustpilot
See how their reviews and ratings are sourced, scored, and moderated.
Don't do it, use something else.
After more than a year of usage, Instapage increased its pricing and charged the new rate (which was a more than 100% increase).
They will say: we sent an email about it. Yes, they did, but this info was hidden near the bottom in a lengthy newsletter, that nobody actually reads.
How would you feel if I charged your card a multiple of agreed upon?
Then they don't give refunds to those that won't have any of it, hiding behind their nonsense 24h refund policy. Like we monitor our charges 24/7? This makes sense for people who willingly signed up and paid for a product, but not for bogus price hikes.
DO NOT build your business on this 'platform' as it will cost you more than you expect, in money, but especially in time as you move out and find another solution eventually. Oh, when you eventually decide to move, don't expect to be able to export your work.
Oh and they will make sure to complain about your review where they legally can, so you have to rewrite it again and again. I am not sure why I would have to prove my statements here, it is a personal review, why would I lie?

Pages load super slowly (which as a consumer, I would automatically click away), and the editing is not intuitive at all.

Landing pages are slow (Google Ads constantly alerts about this issue).
Once you develop all the pages on their plataform they have you locked in. Won't give you a HTML export of your landing pages. You either suck it up and pay more or have to clone all the landing pages on another software.
Expensive.

Same poor experience as everyone else
Same poor experience as everyone else. Instapage went from $79 to $199.
What they added? Things nobody asked for. We all came here for a landing page builder and ended up paying twice as much for a product full of features nobody cares about.
Very dissapointed, specially because even woth the new features, I would never expect a reason to pay 2X for that.
I was a customer of them for almost 2 years. It’s time to move somewhere else.

OVERPRICED FOR NOTHING
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLATFORM!
- OVERPRICED, I don't know what happened to them, but overnight they decided to increase their pricing that is insanely outrageous.
- They DON'T even have sharp page templates to validate the price of their services. Seriously, the most boring templates that a blind-monkey can make. It's almost 2020, there should be monthly updates of modern/sleek designed templates.....
- Pictures COST EXTRA! When I'm already paying astronomical monthly fees, why should I pay extra for images that I can find online for FREE? wth
- HORRIBLE CHAT SERVICE! Every time I had a problem with an HTML code, it took them forever to figure out the issue and at times they didn't even resolve the problem! The customer service was always filled with too much attitude (Kelly)
- The interface is too busy and not intuitive, especially when you try to mobile optimize
- etc, etc, etc|!!!!! STAY AWAY!
Absolutely SHOCKING service
Absolutely SHOCKING service. They emailed us a week ago saying they will be increasing all plans to $199 per month and there's nothing we can do about it.
I couldn't care less about their new features they've released, they are useless to us. They are essentially holding their customers as hostage and making us pay the increased fees because they know we have little choice in the matter.
However, we'll be investing more resources in ensuring our landing pages are REBUILT on other software such as unbounce. STAY AWAY from Instapage unless you want to face unexpected costs.
You can clearly see a lot of their customers are not happy about this change of pricing, as the negative reviews are flooding in.
They should look after their current customers and honour the pricing they signed up for. Was a complete mistake signing up for Instapage in the first place.

Not worth the price
I've been an Instapage enterprise client for just over 2 years. I built my entire CRO agency using Instapage as the backbone.
In those 2 years, they increased the enterprise pricing 3x. While the platform itself is amazing and offers specialized CRO tools, there are many competitors out there with the same features offering their technology for a fraction of the price.
A couple weeks before my enterprise contract expired, I was contacted by my case manager who told me that Instpage would be increasing their enterprise pricing 10x. I kid you not...10 times.
I had 400+ live pages + over 50 clients + trained team members on the platform and was forced to make a costly and time consuming migration to another platform.
They did give me a grace period to do all of this.
In summary, great platform but insanely overpriced. Even the basic plan; in 2 years it went from $69 to $199.
They also deleted 75% of their template library. I get they want to be the "designated" CRO builder that is suited for $2500/month agencies but I think the decision to delete 100+ good looking templates and leave you with nothing but wireframes is a snobby/silicon valley move. Like the Apple stand.

I am not a big fan of the refund…
I am not a big fan of the refund policy. It shows a lack of trust in the product. Most software companies have very user friendly refund policies. Instapage just wants you cash and is less concerned with your user experience. It took days to communicate with support in regards to a simple cancelation request.

Disappointing... Shady business practices, pricing frequently changes.
Instapage started us on a $49/mo plan. A year later, that price increased to $79/mo with minimal feature additions. Now another year later, we're told that our price will increase to $199/mo this December without choice.
When we voiced our concern with their customer service desk, we were told that we could go elsewhere for our landing page needs.
When we voiced our concern on their Facebook post (along with dozens of other disappointed customers), our comments were deleted and our ability to comment on their posts was disabled.
Nothing but shady business practices from this company.
Looking forward to switching to a provider that provides actual customer service and can keep their pricing/business model consistent for more than 12 months.
Best of luck.

Instapage is one of my top used tools…
Instapage is one of my top used tools for bringing in qualified leads. Instapage landing pages direct qualified traffic to our lead forms. The Instapage landing pages are designed to specifically help with conversions so I can generate more marketing qualified leads. Overall the platform offers a streamlined and intuitive landing page builder to allow almost anyone build and deploy great landing pages. There are multiple landing page templates available on Instapage (which are categorized) and you have the ability to create a completely custom landing page, this is a no brainer for a small marketing team. In terms of measurement, Instapage does a great job of providing multivariate testing, heatmaps, and scroll maps. Also, Instapage’s native integrations with Facebook’s pixel and Google Analytics/Ads make it really easy to track and manage paid campaigns.
Long time user - quick, flexible, and nice templates
We've been using Instapage for over a year and I have to say, it's by far the BEST landing page tool we've used. The quick pagedemo.co URL's are great for testing things out and the fact that you can share the page and have a collaborator write changes to be made makes it a great freelancer's tool. The templates are great and the ability to be nimble and use A/B/C... variations and test is spectacular. Another part I love about Insta is the fact that if I need help I can just click on the chat and someone is there to help. I would love to see some more granular analytics like button tracking -- I may need to learn how to do this if it is possible on Instapage. Overall, a great tool for the price and I highly recommend to anyone who is needing to test out marketing tactics for Landers using A/B varients.

I feedback negatively on Instapage for charging me but apparently there was a misunderstanding. Goran and especially Kelly from Instapage support were very helpful and efficient n I got almost full refund! I would prefer to have a full refund though but is satisfied with the outcome! Kudos to your effort!

Edit* Issues resolved with customer care
Revised rating to reflect that the tool was quite useful for a long time, flexible for non-coders, and customer service did pull through at the end.

Easy to use. Staff go above & beyond
Easy to use, integrates with WP easily. And, if you run into problems, there are instapage staff available to assist.
I had been working marketing staff in my company who had created a conference landing page for an upcoming event.
It rendered great on desktop, but the mobile view was having some weird image & text related rendering issues.
So, I opened a chat conversation w/ an Instapage staff member. They were super helpful and resolved the issue. The whole process was about 30 minutes or so. They had to go into my page and investigate. Then they not only fixed the problem... they recorded a video of both the problem and the solution, showing me what they did to fix it.
I am grateful to Instapage for going above and beyond my expectations-- they chatted with me, then investigated, fully solved & even documented the solution.

Easy to lose your work
Super easy to edit and launch pages, but it has one huge flaw. When you work on a page, it does not auto-save. So if you work on page, leave your computer for a bit, comes back later - you have been logged out and all your work is lost. I have lost so much work because of this...

Couldn't log in once built
I thought I would try their service and spent half a day making a landing page only to not be allowed to log back in to it because I had not "verified my email." I must have tried 10 times, I looked in spam, I tried over days... I reset my password and then still couldn't get on because of email verification. I got emails saying they were "on the case" but no help sadly.
The most frustrating thing is that they have live chat for paying customers who are not on the trial however I will never be one of those because they wasted half a day of my life and were not contactable when it mattered.
For a non-programmer like myself…
For a non-programmer like myself Instapage is a great way to build and maintain several landing pages in our business. I sometimes think that the interaction is a bit slow. Saving pages, updating pages, assigning URLs seems not-super-responsive. Other than that I love your product. Please consider advanced media like carousels, slide shows, etc.
So easy to use!
Instapage does not disappoint! It’s so easy to use and user-friendly. I love how customizable it is—the font I needed wasn’t preloaded, but it only took 1-2 quick steps to add what I needed. I highly recommend this product! It comes at an affordable price for all the features you get!

Overall on off the best landingpage builders out there.
However i was cancelled my plan for 79$/month without further notice, now the price is 129$/month.
Few different bugs in the builder itself as well.
