I recently spent $200 on a test batch…

I recently spent $200 on a test batch of leads from All Web Leads (AWL) for life insurance/retirement-related prospects. Out of the first 8 leads I attempted to contact before stopping the service:

5 were reachable.
1 had a dead
1 disconnected number.
1 had an inactive number and email.
1 prospect only spoke Spanish (no indication in the lead data).
Of the remaining three who answered, none seemed aware of how their information was gathered or appeared to have actively requested quotes. One explicitly told me on a personal follow-up that he had never looked into life insurance or retirement products.

This does not align with what I expected from "high-intent" or recently requested leads. I called AWL customer service about reimbursement for the clearly bad leads (dead and disconnected). They refused to reimburse those two and are only issuing a partial credit of $112 back to my card, leaving me out of pocket for the rest despite the poor results.

All Web Leads operates multiple consumer-facing brands that appear to feed into the same shared lead pool. This includes insuranceQuotes.com, NetQuote.com, InsuranceLeads.com, and others acquired over the years. Agents buying through any of these are often drawing from the same ecosystem, which can lead to shared leads, higher competition, and variable quality. AWL also runs its own AWL Insurance Agency (AWLIA), which writes policies directly-this creates an in-house priority that some agents feel results in lower-quality "afterthought" leads being sold externally.
I've seen similar complaints from other agents about lead validity, unresponsive contacts, language barriers, and refund difficulties on BBB and review sites. While AWL is an established company with volume, my experience (and many others') highlights ongoing challenges with quality control in their model.
I won't be continuing with AWL or any of their affiliated brands. Prospective buyers should test small and document everything

False information

I had a bunch of insurance brokers offering quotes on vehicles I don’t own, they got a lead from insurance quotes. I tried talking to them to find out where they got my info, as soon as I said I wasn’t looking for insurance they hung up on me,!

I represent a State Farm Agent in Ohio

I represent a State Farm Agent in Ohio, and I have had a long relationship with this company. Every company has its ups & downs, but this one is mostly up!
As long as you call every so often to revisit your account with your representative things will always be fresh and good! Our job is not to drop the ball when we get something that looks like a good fit!
As someone once told me years ago " you get out what you put in", and that modo has worked in life as well!
I'd especially like to thank Candace Hostetler! She has been dealing with me for a few years now and has helped our account run smoothly. She is absolutely exceptional at her job! Always finagling our credits, leads and pricing along the way!
I highly recommend Insurance Quotes, so long as you set a scheduled workflow to follow up on these leads. Some are definitely worth a pended task to call again!
I have had success with this company and will continue to work through the leads provided to me whether they are returned or kept! :D
Candace is highly regarded here and is a definite asset to Insurancequotes.com! Please hire more people like her!! She is lovely to talk with and understands our issues and how to address them when the pop up! Keep up the good work Candace and thank you for keeping us in your thoughts when you help us!

Signed,
JC Daniels at Reed Allen's State Farm Office

Complete waste of time. I filled inthe forms and then they sent me a bunch of suggestions to other companies where I had to fill in forms again. Many didnt work, and they didnt provide the insurance I was looking for at all. A horrendous experience

called me at 8 am

called me at 8 am! started as a robo call. then person, Shane Adams, picked up. I asked what the name of the company is, as it was different from what the robot said. Robot said it was medicare. I proceeded to ask his name, his time zone and where he was located. Dallas, TX. asked if he knew that it was against the law to call before 9. Before i could ask for the umpteenth time to be taken off their call list, he hung up.

No Car Insurance Quotes, just links to other comparison sites that want the same personal info...

I completed the form with a lot of personal information and click "get quotes" but all of the results links are to other services that "compare" insurance rates that ask for the same personal info. Seems like a personal info harvesting site that tricks users into volunteering personal info to several other companies. Even if there would be actual quotes at the end, I would have to share my personal info with several other companies before I get there.

The insurance person was very rude

The person who called was professional then they transferred me to a insurance person who was very rude because I didn't want the quote that he gave me. Told me I wasn't serious. Really, if I'm looking for different quotes so that I can get the insurance who does he think he is? They need to train their people to talk to others. Very sad. Then I called back to speak to someone else and they hung up on me after saying hold a minute I will get u someone else. I don't have time for ignorance..

Dear God don't do it!

Dozens and dozens of calls and messages and every one of them will ask you the same information and at the end of the day or two days or however long it takes before you block everyone you still won't have a quote for insurance. I was just doing it to see if there were lower rates. What a mistake.

I am an experienced agent and have…

I am an experienced agent and have purchased leads in the past and had pretty good luck with them. Not a single lead from InsuranceQuotes.com was a good lead. I said I would try it for a month, but ended up using them for about a month and half. I asked for credit for most of the leads due to bad numbers or the person, if I got to talk with them, had not put in for a quote in the last 6 months or longer. This company is probably churning old leads to generate business for themselves...not for the agent.

I have used this company in the past

I have used this company in the past, but they have just gotten worse. Declined any lead returned, not certain where they acquired the "leads", but there were to people who were stunned that they were receiving a call or email for life insurance. Avoid this company as well as Allwebleads.com, they own insurancequotes.com.

STOLEN INFORMATION...Received an unsolicited phone call from an insurance agent local to my home. He had already worked up a quote and had way to much information about my vehicle, said he received it from insurance quotes. Com I have never requested or had ANY dealings with this company and yet they have my info to sell to local insurance companies. They have stolen my info somehow.
