Fiona Macrae
After Fiona Macrae, Insurancewith’s founder, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, she found it almost impossible to get affordable travel insurance. Like anyone else, she was looking forward to a holiday, but sensibly-priced cover seemed out of reach.
Insurancewith was created to help people with all kinds of conditions – including cancer, mental health, epilepsy, and many disabilities – get the most suitable cover for your personal needs at a price to suit your budget.

Great price but awful customer service
Although I did purchase insurance with you, it was only because you were the cheapest. I had a terrible experience with a member of your team when I requested a call back to query something. She kept talking over me, was not in the slightest bit compassionate, put words in my mouth and as someone who has recently gone through an awful health scare, I found the whole experience very upsetting. Your staff should be trained in how to be kind to people.

A shame they've changed
I started using this company a few years ago precisely because they were a small local company. When I phoned for a quote this week I found that instead of speaking to someone a few miles away I was speaking to someone at a foreign call centre. No personal touch, no supporting the local economy. It was a real shame, I won't be using them again.
