Their services have been deteriorating day by day. I’ve been using their hosting and VPS, which were fine initially, but over the past few months the performance has dropped significantly. During peak hours, my website goes down and the VPS becomes completely unresponsive. Whenever I raise a complaint, the only suggestion I receive is to upgrade the VPS RAM—even though everything works fine during non-peak hours. Instead of addressing the root cause and improving their service quality, they simply push customers to go big. This is disappointing and not the kind of support I expected. Even at this time service are down, even their chat support. Even the Cloudflare error page is self explanatory that Browser (working) -> Cloudflare (working) ->Host (Error). but their staff keep saying, the site is working fine at our end. always one-liner.

I was with Interserver for two years, with a bare metal server that came at a price that was beyond fair for the services provided. They were extremely helpful in setting up my server, even going so far as to install the operating system to my specifications when the IPMI functions of the server proved slightly troublesome during the install. The service has been trouble free, and if it were not for newly installed fiber which allows me to run a server on site I would still be using their services.
Even the cancellation process was entirely hassle free with no intrusive questions about why I was canceling my service.
I recommend them to anyone who needs access to servers, and great service.

I have been useing a VPS with Interserver for several years.
Rarely is there a problem, but today I couldn't access my server. It turns out that when I replaced my wifi router I obtained another IP address that my firewall rejected.
Of course, I didn't know this, but when I put in a support ticket, they had everything figured out in no time.

I signed up for service on Tuesday, December 23rd evening, as of Saturday, December 27th at 240am, still no working server! It has been problem after problem - network issues, OS install issues, etc. This was for a dedicated server. It reminds me of the 1&1 Company before - I’m literally talking to support on chat while waiting on hold on the phone for 16 minutes now and I’m told “we escalated ticket and it’ll be updated in a few..” and still no server. Good prices but nothing works! Even the IPMI wasn’t provisioned right for me.

I am looking for problem free hosting for several smaller websites, mostly Wordpress, at low cost and got frustrated by the typical first year low cost offering by most providers with later steep cost increases. In 2022 I switched to Interserver and have been very happy with their stable pricing, professional user interface and good uptime. I opened maybe one or two support tickets a year. Each time the response was fast and efficient. I am a happy customer.

I had an issue where my subdomain WordPress website was accidentally deleted, including files and database.
The InterServer support team handled the situation professionally. They restored the website files from backup and then helped with the database restoration so the site could work exactly as before.
The support staff was responsive, patient, and technically knowledgeable. They clearly explained each step and followed up until the issue was fully resolved.

My recent support experience with InterServer has been extremely disappointing. I migrated a couple of sites here as a test before committing to a larger plan. I am genuinely relieved that I did not move everything over, because the support performance on this ticket has been one of the worst I have seen from any host.
The issue itself is simple. Windsurf and VS Code Remote fail because the entrywav LVE slice cannot fork new processes. I provided everything they needed. I submitted logs, screenshots, the exact steps to reproduce the problem, and I even compared it directly to my other account on the same server where everything works. The difference between the two accounts clearly proves that the issue is on their side.
Despite this, the responses I received showed almost no understanding of what I wrote.
The timing of the replies says everything.
15:42 I opened the ticket with a full technical breakdown.
16:03 They responded but talked about a different issue.
There was then a long period of silence.
18:10 I clarified the issue again.
Another long gap of inactivity followed.
01:03 They finally replied almost seven hours later and still treated it like a basic SSH login question.
I explained the issue again, immediately.
01:38 to 01:45 I sent logs, screenshots, and clear evidence.
01:56 They asked me where the error was happening even though I had already shown it multiple times.
03:26 They announced that the issue was “corrected”. Nothing had changed and the problem was still there.
11:30 to 11:59 I provided a complete explanation comparing the two LVE slices and showing exactly why one account works and the other does not. Their next response ignored that and asked once again for steps I had already sent in detail.
These were not small delays. These were long stretches of several hours where nothing happened, followed by replies that made it obvious my previous messages had not been read. I have never had to repeat myself so many times for such a simple resource limit issue.
What makes this worse is that my previous hosting provider usually resolved issues within a few hours. Their staff actually understood the problems and read what I sent. With InterServer, I have spent two days going in circles and still do not have a resolution.
I had considered upgrading to a VPS or dedicated server here. After this experience, that idea is gone. I will be preparing a YouTube video for my 600k audience detailing this entire support experience so others know what they might encounter.
My honest advice is simple. Be cautious. My old host resolved issues quickly and professionally. InterServer has shown the opposite. What a complete waste of 2 days!

Your response says there was “no evidence of a system issue” and that nothing server-side was found. That statement is directly contradicted by your own ticket history.
In a later reply, one of your staff explicitly identified an out-of-memory kill occurring within the account’s LVE and stated that the resource enforcement was not logging correctly in the cPanel resource usage interface. They also confirmed that limits were raised and that CloudLinux was contacted to investigate why this was not being logged as expected.
Those facts alone invalidate the claim that no server-side issue existed.
It is also misleading to suggest this was handled promptly or clearly. The ticket shows repeated response gaps of many hours, including a stretch exceeding ten hours with no reply. During that time the issue remained unresolved and active. At one point the problem was declared “corrected” when nothing had changed.
I did not cancel because the issue was solved. I cancelled because responses slowed to the point that work could not continue and the same explanations were being repeated without progress.
Saying my review “doesn’t reflect what actually occurred” is inaccurate. The timestamps, acknowledgements of resource enforcement, and escalation to CloudLinux are all documented in the ticket. This is not a matter of opinion.
Attempting to publicly deny what your own staff documented instead of acknowledging the failure reflects poorly on your transparency. Readers can judge for themselves by comparing this reply to the ticket history.
