DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE…

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR BELONGINGS!
They were rude, argumentative, they lied to try and cause confusion.
I didn't realise I had more belongings than what I had booked to be moved. When the removalists arrived, they refused to do the job because there was too much stuff (which was our problem, not theirs).
My fridge was left deeply marked at the front and one prong was bent so much, when it was straightened, it snapped off.
Knobs were broken off furniture, antique knobs were removed and replaced with ugly wooden knobs.
If they see something they like, they will take it and replace it with something else, leave it damaged or broken.
A large bookcase has multiple strap marks down the side of it.
ZERO CARE.
They bullied my housemate and my cleaner and were so slow, it could be easy to think they didn't know what they were doing.
They rudely jabbered in their own language at me when I asked them to moved the large heavy stuff onto the verandah, making out they understood and would do it.
Then they left after accusing me of making them wait, when they knew settlement was at 2pm and they had arrived at 10am, me at 11am.
I haven't had time to check for any further damages.
NEVER AGAIN.
Then they tried to charge me more. Buckley's of that happening.

Interstate Removalists Co

Please do not use this company. There is a distinct lack of customer service and focus. This is the timeline of events:
* 4th December 2025 telephone discussion with FEMALE 1 to arrange moving my property from Gympie QLD to Landsborough Vic Pick up on 12th December 2025 from two locations in Gympie and delivery on 21st December to Landsborough Victoria
* 5th December 2025 payment of $2,856.00 was processed via internet transfer
* 9th December 2025 FEMALE 1 called to tell me my property would be picked up that same day (3 days earlier than discussed) This was a huge inconvenience to our 1-week holiday and plans I made. It gave me no time to fully label my items and made a note of what was there. I had to get emergency permission to access the storage unit after hours and cut short a lunch with a dear friend whom I had not seen for an entire year.
* 14th December 2025 I received multiple calls from the truck driver who was outside the Landsborough location ready to deliver (7 days earlier than discussed) FEMALE 1 confirmed it was an error, my property is in their storage facility in Victoria and would be delivered on 21st December 2025, as discussed. FEMALE 1 reaffirmed I am not required to pay storage fees. I asked Amanda if I could change the delivery date to a later date, this I was told was not possible, and my stuff would be delivered as discussed on the 21st of December 2025
* 21st December 2025 no delivery

from 21st December 2025 to 15th Jan 2026 I have contacted the company by telephone and/or text for a combined total of 66 times

Not all calls were answered, not a single text message was replied to. Of the calls that were answered, I was given the following dates for delivery of my items
* 22nd December 2025 not delivered
* 23rd December 2025 not delivered
* 27th December 2025 not delivered
* 28th December 2025 not delivered
* 29th December 2025 not delivered
* 5th January 2026 not delivered
* 6th January 2026 not delivered
* 7th January 2026 not delivered
* 14th January 2026 not delivered
* 15th January 2026 not delivered
* 20th January 2026 delivered

I was essentially held to ransom in that I had to be at home on those dates yet there was a no show and no call or text message to update the status of the delivery. I had to reschedule appointments I made and keep rescheduling as the delivery dates kept changing. On one call I made, FEMALE 1 told me off. Saying my items were in storage in Melbourne and I can go get them myself. She told me more than once I did not pay for a premium service, which I knew. I got no end of problems she was having to excuse why my items were not delivered. Mine was a backfill move comprising of some 15 small boxes, a washing machine and a ride-on mower. On some calls I could overhear yelling and swearing in the background while FEMALE 1 was talking to someone about my delivery. Terrible customer service. Terrible customer focus. Terrible ethics.

= 15th January 2026 I spoke to COMPANY OWNER asking when my items would be delivered. He expressed shock that it has taken this long and assured me he would call back later this same day or at latest, tomorrow
= 16th Jan 2026 no contact from the company
= as of 19th January 2026, my items have not been delivered and I have not received any communication from COMPANY OWNER, FEMALE 1 or any other representative from the company about a delivery date
= 20th January 2026 after the 66th contact by me, my item were finally delivered

It wasn't until my call to COMPANY OWNER on the 15th of January and disclosing I was in the process of engaging professional legal representation that I felt I would actually get my items.

Do NOT believe the reviews on this company's web site. These are all great reviews, I somehow doubt they would publish a bad one. You need to search for negative and positive reviews outside the website, for a balanced view of the company. Too many of the bad reviews resonated perfectly with my first hand experience. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone for any kind of removalist work.
