Sent my Cartier watch to InTime on 15/11/22. Was not told they were about to go bust - after Christmas I chased my repair and was still not given a real response. Called customer service repeatedly - once cut off, second time no reply and third time was told everyone on comfort break. Emailed Head of Customer Service on 2/2/23 and she replied offering the option to have my watch returned to me. Still not received today 15/02/23 and was advised she was too busy to speak to me. All I want is to have my watch returned to me. The girl I spoke to said she would get back to me in a couple of days. I can only assume my beloved Cartier watch is lost. I would never use this bunch - they are careless, unethical (accepting repairs when they knew they were going bust) and the cannot be trusted with your jewellery.

Just wanted to highly commend Freddie at the Reading branch of 'In Time" in John Lewis. He was super helpful to me when I visited - a really good guy who delivers a very good customer experience. Thank you!

I dropped off my wedding ring with Diamonds and It was meant to be resized (at the in time concession in John Lewis White City) I went back only to find the store closed and in liquidation with NO WARNING given to customers. I want my ring back and I'm totally shocked by this experience.
Update - I went back a week later and was informed of the change of hands and my ring was fixed and returned to me in great condition. Thank you very much. I was very worried and was grateful with the service I received in the end.

2 month nearly now I have been waiting for my sons watch to be fixed and keep getting fobbed off! I never rite a review on anything but feel this is the only way I can now escalate it to try and get some answers.
I went 2 weeks ago to fix an ankle bracelet to their shop in Milton Keynes.I haven't haven't heard back from them.On 22 I went and ask what's happening the guy said they gonna call me. Today 27.12 I went to ask what going on and find that the shop will be closed because is proposed to be placed in Creditor voluntary liquidator. The email address they put to contact the creditors is not working. So I m supposed to do? How I can contact them to get my bracelet back?? 🙄🙄🙄🙄
I ordered an item for Christmas for my 96 year old mum in plenty of time (14th December) and received confirmation that it was being sent our first class tracked. I have now called customer service 5 times and each time received a message they are too busy to take calls and to call back or leave a message. I left three messages and also sent 2 emails chasing the whereabouts of my order. They ignored all contact and it is now Christmas eve and I have no present for my mum. I have Covid so couldn't go out and find something else so Christmas has been spoilt not only by In Time not sending me the item either 'in time' (or at all) but in failing to return my numerous attempts to contact them. Zero customer service or humanity at a time when they know the importance and time sensitivity of orders
DISASTER. I live locally so took my Tudor Black Bay 58 in to see if In Time at Elys department store in Wimbledon could swap the fabric strap to the factory bracelet.
The man who served me seemed to be annoyed that I had interrupted him from texting to start. He was quite rude when I asked if he could change the bracelet and perhaps the micro adjustment and pushed the price up to 10 from 6 pounds. Because ‘first you are asking for bracelet now you want adjustments’ - I didn’t realise I would be causing him an issue by bringing him business.
He then proceeded to scratch away at my watch for 5 minutes unsuccessfully. He asked if this was the original bracelet for the watch (it is) then implied that there was something faulty with it and gave up. I asked him to put the fabric strap back on which he did incorrectly before I pointed it out.
I then noticed that the back of the watch is completely scratched up where he was trying to incorrectly put the bracelet back in… when I showed this to him he said something along the lines of ‘that’s what we do when we do repairs’. He didn’t seem to concerned and moved onto the next customer.
Now something that I saved for years to purchase is completely scratched up. It might not matter to you that it’s on the back, but it certainly does to me.
He did not treat my watch with care and attention, failed to do what he implied was easy and to top it all of he was rude at the start.
So completely disappointed.

Trish was invaluable with her knowledge and expertise. More importantly, patience in helping me work out what was possible and feasible. Thank you. Her liaison with the off site jeweller to create from a rather broken silver bracelet with sparkly chips into a beautiful necklace was done with a smile and understanding. Thank you Both.
