Time saving
Inventory planner has significantly streamlined our operations, enabling us to meet customer demands efficiently and reduce unnecessary inventory costs. It has allowed us to manage inventory at multiple warehouses and allows for interstate transfers when we were running low on stock due to several outliers. The integration to our ecommerce platform also means that the data can be updated to reflect the website transactions when we choose. I had initially being managing stock manually which would take weeks, now I get automated reports or use the platforms user friendly interface and can review all inventory within an hour.

Very hard to cancel subscription
The only way to cancel your subscription is to contact support. They will then ask you to answer a list of detailed questions before proceeding with your cancellation request. We continued to be charged even after requesting the cancellation of our account. Very disappointing for an online business.

We have had an incredible experience working and onboarding with Inventory Planner. They have been a helpful thought partner in working through some solutions to problem solve for our unique inventory situations. The onboarding time commitment was a lot but it was so worth it to best understand the complexity of the offering and ensure we were leveraging it appropriately. There is still more to do but I feel so confident in how things are set up and tracked we are able to rest easier worrying less about stock outs and being able to focus more on strategic planning. Overall a really useful piece of software
Overall a really useful piece of software. We have used Inventory Planner for the past 3 years in our business and it has proved an excellent tool for forecasting stock requirement based on factors such as supplier lead time, days of stock required, and previous sales history.
We would highly recommend Inventory Planner for any new e-commerce business.

Complex, but simple...
After a long search and a couple of failed attempts to get inventory planning right, I finally came across Inventory Planner. We had a couple of issues with the BC integration, but IP got everything resolved. Now we have an inventory system that we can trust. It was very powerful to walk through how the calculations are done so that we could trust the final numbers, which we have never been able to do! The training was key, so many partners have a great tool, but no training. With the training we received we feel confident that we can really leverage all of IPs the amazing tools. Finally, the data is complex, but managing it is so simple, something we thought we would never find. Give IP a shot, I really think you will be very pleased!

Great until acquired by Sage
The support is now non-existent, any response given will be through a customer service rep that has little/no technical understanding and will generally respond with pre-written generic support responses. On multiple occasions, IP will not sync correctly or at all. Support will issue the 'we're looking into it' response and will generally resolve the issue on the same day with a band aid fix - at a great cost to our now disrupted supply chain. For us, a day’s worth of downtime costs our company thousands. The knock-on effect means goods will arrive from our supplier a day or 2 later than required as we are dealing with suppliers in different time zones. Customer support will never drill down to the root cause and the issue will reoccur again the following day with the same hapless support response. We can work through most issues but unreliable data sync renders the platform redundant, it doesn’t matter what else the platform can do if the primary function of the service doesn’t pull the data correctly.
As with any software service you’re going to having niggling issues to work through, however that’s no longer possible as the recent acquirer (Sage) has stripped back customer support so we now have a product that doesn’t work and isn’t supported. Despite the decline of service, they’ve recently increased pricing with a tiered service and features that we previously paid for are no longer included in our plan (as you can guess we weren’t informed about that either). I can only imagine things are going to become worse as the company is stripped of all value.
We have been using IP for a number of years and sadly this is no longer the same company after several recent changes in ownership. Whilst we were once used to effectively resolving issues with the actual engineers/founders of the company, things are now a sharp contrast and the reality is the previous great ratings for this company no longer hold true.

ITS A NO FROM ME!
As a business I was looking to work with a company on numerous levels to make inventory and forecasting easier for my business after rapid growth.
Unfortunately the communication from the Inventory Planner team is near impossible unless you sign up to their premiums services at over $14,000.
I signed up for the initial services at $1400 but there is zero support, no live chat or contact number to see how the system works and establish key benefits for my company. They referred me to You Tube pre recorded 3 min overviews - nothing bespoke or engaging to even make you consider further investment to the premiums services they offer.
Education and support is key for any business to ensure you meet client expectations to which they don't offer either, I was looking forward to on boarding the team but after misleading the offering and wasting SOOOO much time I have now referred it to American Express to resolve

The ultimate sales and stock planning tool, cant recommend highly enough.
This website must be the ultimate inventory planning tool. It helps us see exactly how long stock levels will last, predicts replenishment month ahead based on sales figures. An awesome locations comparison tool to help balance inventory across several warehouses/shops. Too much stock in one, not enough in another, this sorts it out.
There are so many features, analysis reports to comment on. Integrates with quite a few other e-commerce systems. The ultimate sales and stock planning tool, can't recommend it highly enough.
