What Customer Service?
I echo many of the comments left on here. Dealing with my late mothers estate and of all of the financial institutions I have contacted so far, the attitude from Invesco was by far the worst. After waiting over 30 minutes for somebody to answer the phone, I got told to go online. Even though it's not my account. Several security questions later, they grudgingly told me they would write to her!? Awful customer service!
Appalling wait on telephone
Recently made an enquiry by email, which was answered promptly, but I was unable to take the necessary follow up action online or by email, I was advised that a written or telephone instruction was necessary.
After 1 hour and 25 minutes holding the line to speak to someone, my handset battery gave out. So I will now have to waste more time after recharging my phone, or use "snail mail" to take a simple action that could be dealt with in minutes if I could only speak to someone!
Edit: My issue was finally resolved yesterday (21 May) after several further attempts and some misinformation. In fairness, on this occasion I actually got through to an agent within a couple of minutes, and this time the requested action was taken and confirmed.
Absolutely terrible and incompetent service
Absolutely terrible service which is just confused and always incompetent. Everything has to be done by paper - been trying to transfer a mother’s ICVC in which I am the account designate, to me for the past 8 years.
They never send the correct forms - asked for them but they only send one instead of two, or to the wrong address. Then they claim that we can’t get them sent because there is no account linked?!
Once this is sorted, we are leaving Invesco ASAP. This incompetency is ridiculous and we are tired of it.

Cannot login & help line number just holding on for over 40 minutes and still no one answering
Trying to get my late mothers…
Trying to get my late mothers investment paid has taken six months of tortuous bureaucratic nonsense.
Finally they said the money had been sent to our solicitors account on 8.9.23 . 19 days later it is still not there and they claim not to have a fraud department, compliance department or regulatory department. I am lodging this as a theft with action fraud and contacting BBC money box then I will lodge a complaint with the financial ombudsman. Absolutely avoid this company completely they are fraudsters.
Unprofessional and incompetent
For 2 years now, we have received statements from Invesco for a person that previously lived at my address, but is now deceased. Even though we've returned all documents marked as 'deceased' to Invesco, plus have sent emails, they are still sending them!!!! This is terribly unprofessional and incompetent, so if you are thinking of using Invesco, I would seriously reconsider.
We are trying to withdraw investments from late parent
We are trying to withdraw investments my late mother had, there have been 3 simular amounts + or - £20k held in different companies. Invesco is by far the worsed. It has not returned documents, we have had to have things witnessed by solicitors not easy when we none of us live within 100 miles of each other, every thing that can be difficult is, and they keep asking for more. We still haven't had our money so can't distribute funds. Others paid out months ago
Closed my account (after thirty years)…
Closed my account (after thirty years) over a month ago and, despite my repeated attempts to acquire a check for my account, still have not received my money. I have been told several versions of 'the check is in the mail' and even paid for 'overnight delivery by UPS' but still no check. My complaint is similar to the dozens I've seen online = Invesco does not seem to let customers have access to their money after their accounts are closed.
Telephone service is nothing of the sort
Rang up to change my current account details. First of all it's like speaking to someone located down the bottom of a mineshaft but I persevere. 'Hi, I need to change the details of my current account '. 'You need to write to us with a bank statement'. 'I don't have a statement as the account has just opened, plus it's an online account '. Repeats what he first said, then silence. 'OK?'. 'Well no, it's not OK as that's no use to me. I've used the Current Account Switching Service, so if I make a withdrawal, which will go to my old account and then be redirected to my new one, will you then change my current account details when you've been informed by them of the change?' (this is what happens with most financial institutions). 'I don't know'. Silence. 'OK, that's all, bye'.
And there you have a perfect example of what is wrong with Invesco's telephone 'service'.
Why are these people so unhelpful? Why do they not know their stuff? And actually, as I found out myself after, you can change your bank details using the online service by uploading an electronic copy statement as confirmation- why wasn't I advised of that option?
100% negative reviews on here, not one single response from the company. Draw your own conclusions.

I had to sell off my assets managed by Invesco and still have not been paid. The customer service was horrible and I was continually redirected with no help. I would urge you to stay away from these dishonest people. If you need assistance, Ratcliffe Capital Limited was a great help to me.
Appalling Online Service
Only way to get onto your account is to enter a username and password, no App, no voice fingerprint or face recognition. If you get your login wrong you get blocked without notification so you dont know its happened. Yesterday i wasnt sure about my password so after one failed login attempt i changed it. Using the password i had just successfully changed to i still couldnt login because the details i entered didnt match their records. You then need to phone but can never get through. On this occasion I was on hold for 9 minutes and gave up. No response on chat either.
This is just rubbish in 2023, surely this could be made better.
No access for disabled
No access for POA even though the account holder is unable to speak or control their limbs. Openly does not comply with DDA requirements.
All previous reviews absolutely sum up…
All previous reviews absolutely sum up my current experience with these clowns. Each time you ring their 'Service' Desk you're held in a long queue and eventually end up with an incompetent operative. I've been trying to facilitate a simple transfer to my son, of which has taken over two months and it still hasn't been completed. Avoid Invesco at all costs.
Customer service
This is the worst company I have dealt with. Their customer service is appalling. The staff are not trained adequately and come across poorly on the telephone. I’m still waiting for an update on my late father’s account which has been ongoing since October 2021. I’ve written a complaint to their chief exec and funnily enough still not had a reply.
Don't deal with this company
Invesco are by far the most difficult, constructively unhelpful, incompetent, organisation I have ever dealt with. From speaking to a few companies in Financial Services my experience was obviously not unique. Whilst there were 2 people I spoke to at Invesco, over two months that were helpful, the majority of staff behaved as though they were trained to be as difficult as possible. I'd rather put money under my pillow !!!!
Unbelievably poor service
Unbelievably poor service, slow, and NO ownership. Have been trying to resolve a simple admin error ( theirs) after speaking with 8 different people over several months.
Poor communication - poor explanation and no consequence from their side.
Incompetence springs to mind

I have a large a/c but the progress of my investment recently has been very poor. Additionally I find it absolutely impossible to get online and get a quick valuation. Very poor service. Will have to sell and invest elsewhere
Poor, Unprofessional, Uncaring Customer Service
On 25th January, 2022 I sold my Emerging Markets Unit Trust which I had held since 27th July 1987. I was initially told by Rosie in your call centre that I would receive the funds in my bank account within three working days. On 28th January Rosie informed me that a lower amount would be paid into my account on Monday 31st January, which I reluctantly accepted. However, I made an official complaint about inaccurate, misleading customer service. When the promised funds were not received, I spoke to Deborah on 1st February, who could not resolve my complaints and I asked for the Call Centre Manager to take responsibility to deal with this simple complaint, which Invesco said would be dealt with in 3-5 days. After several telephone calls with Karen, I still have not received the funds and I am now told that my complaint will not be answered for a further 10 days. The Customer Service processes are bureaucratic, outdated and probably have deteriorated since BNY Mellon became involved with Invesco. The My Invesco website is not customer oriented and has poor functionality. The Rununciation Form that I had to complete is pathetic - it has no Invesco logo, ID and is not fit for purpose. Unfortunately my request to sell my lifelong investment in Unit Trusts has been a most unpleasant, stressful experience.
Sold my investment with Invesco on…
Sold my investment with Invesco on 05/11/2021 and am still awaiting funds. Appalling administration and passed from pillar to post.
Do not deal with these cowboys .
Appalling incompetence
Appalling incompetence. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. I was mis-informed by Invesco representatives at every step and neither my verbal or written instructions were followed first time. This meant that I had to chase up every instruction, to then find it had not been done correctly. This created delay after delay and considerable stress: firstly in registering a POA and then in cashing in funds and getting them deposited in the requisite bank account. In total, the whole process had now taken 10 weeks and having been assured that the money would be in the bank account today Monday 8th Nov 2021, it has STILL not appeared!
