I paid for a the cheaper yearly subscription (my first mistake), I made one video and it gobbled up all my credits, so coudln't use it for another month. And the result was horrible. When i asked for a refund - Because i have no intention of using it anymore, i was declined, saying it's against their policy to give a refund. So, i made one video the first day, result was horrible, i couldn't fix it because it took up all my credits, i couldn't make another video because of no credits left, and they won't refund me although i paid for a year in advance. DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE. Don't pay them anything, it's a cash grab. Horrible experience.

I am pretty shocked to be honest considering other good reviews I had seen. I asked it to generate an intro scene via AI and then uploaded original video to edit together. The AI completely ignored 8 clips that I uploaded and its generated clip was completely unusable. I was unable to get it to incorporate my footage no matter what as the generated video was so far off the mark that it couldn't be salvaged.
The credits used amounted to ~100$!!
I immediately wrote to support after it was clear the project wouldn't be salvageable for a refund of fee or credits and after about 5 exchanges of "This is a new technology sometimes it will misfire" I was neither able to get a refund of cash or AI credits.

To not have any refund/ "exchange" when your product completely does not deliver is ridiculous. They would also not review my prompts and provide feedback.

One of the worst dealings I've had with any online service I've ever had.

My experience with InVideo AI has been very disappointing. The platform was hard to use and I spent a lot of time trying to create my avatar with multiple videos. All my credits were used up and the output was garbage. I reached out to support and went through the helpdesk but the answers were not helpful. I never even got to properly use the platform before being charged. This ended up being a waste of money and I am canceling so I do not get charged again. I hope sharing this helps others make an informed choice.

Loss of money and time, what is proposed by the tool doesn't work, anytime you want to apply manual changes, you are charged. Stay away from this tool. It is a money trap

i paid for MAX Subscription for 60$ usd , they claim having 200 minutes video , after making 3 shorts video , they said you should have credit , all video i made was 3 minutes, liars, scam, be aware dont use them , , no real support also, no voice recorder, if you wan to waste your money , then go to this

If you are considering using invideo understand that the customer support are not as supportive in most situation and all seem like they are just reading from a script. Not helpful to your issues or concerns at all in my opinion

I signed up for their $35/month plan, which includes 10 credits. Each basic video costs 1 credit — fair enough. But here’s the catch: if you make any modification to a video, even changing just one word, they charge 8 credits without any warning.

I made a simple edit three times, and they deducted 24 credits in total — that’s the equivalent of $80, on top of my $35 subscription. In the end, I paid $110 for one unfinished and useless video.

Terrible value, no transparency, and no warning before charging. Avoid this service at all costs!

I tried the service with their free trial. However, I was not satisfied with the editing process, it took too long and the videos were not cohesive. I decided to cancel the service & so I did, but was unaware that I had another email used for the account on a different project, and I didn't realize the free trial was not cancelled. So I was charged $120/mo for 4 months ($480!!!) not realizing it until I reviewed my bank statement! I contacted customer support & asked for a refund for those 4 charges and though they confirmed I did not use their platform during the months I was charged, they refused to refund me. So I had to contact my bank to dispute those charges. Terrible customer service from Invideo ai, I DO NOT recommend them. Lesson learned though, I will be more vigilant and checking my charges weekly.

It’s terrible, don’t waste your time, energy, or money on this. You will be disappointed. For me, it never generates any videos; after about 45 minutes of processing, it just ends with an “Error, try again” message.

Customer service is nonexistent, and support has no idea what they’re talking about. There are countless issues: the person’s lips are out of sync with the text, it switches between people using the same voice, and it even displays incorrect sports team logos, in my case. It’s completely misaligned with the requirements.

This product is clearly still in testing, and I can’t believe it’s been released to the public in this state. At least their support team promised a refund when I requested to cancel and get my money back.

These people are amazing. They're always available to help, most importantly in a timely manner. They are great.

I uploaded a custom image and asked Invideo to generate a simple video of just a coin spinning in place. What I got was a cheap animation where the entire image just slid around the screen, it wasn’t even close to a real rotation or what I asked for.

Even worse, when I tried to fix it or edit anything, it immediately told me I was out of credit and had to subscribe to continue. So I didn’t even get one usable result before hitting a paywall.

The whole experience felt misleading — like a bait-and-switch. If the platform can't deliver basic animations or let you try before paying, it's not worth it. I'm genuinely disappointed and frustrated.

My Honest Experience After 28 Days of Using InVideo

After using InVideo for 28 days, I just want to share my honest thoughts.
This platform is not what I expected at all. It’s not really an AI video generator; it’s more like a basic video editing tool that uses clips from sites like iStock, Storyblocks, and Shutterstock. What it actually does is gather stock footage, add a voiceover, and do some simple editing. That’s it. There’s no real “AI video creation” happening here.

If you’re looking for a platform that can truly generate videos using AI, this isn’t the right one. The system runs on credits, and it’s extremely expensive for what it offers. Even the smallest plan only gives you 10 credits, which isn’t enough to make a one-minute video. And if you want to go for a higher plan to get more AI time, it’ll cost you hundreds of dollars per month, which is totally not worth it in my opinion.

So, after my experience, I can honestly say that InVideo might be okay as a simple editing assistant, but if you’re expecting real AI video generation or good value for your money, you’ll probably end up disappointed, just like I did.

This is a good online platform to create a video. Not much clutter and simple user friendly interface. The interface does take some time to get familiar with and team members are always there to assist you with your every query. There is definitely some room for improvement and few things could be added.

Again and again issues. I've been at it 2 months and am running my credits out. They will not even redo a video that's clearly botched. I thought I'd use it to get starter points... but it stalls and f's up all the time. Freezes seriously a waste of time
