Unprofessional disorganised

Unprofessional disorganised. When we arrived they didn’t have any record our car and we had to reluctantly leave our car. Upon return we had to wait ages and were told to wait on the wrong floor. Everytime we called to ask how long they would be they’d say 5 minutes and not show up. Could barely hear the guy on the phone too and sounded like he was at a party. We honestly thought our car had been stolen. We also had to pay a further £8 parking fee. Car was returned very dirty

Absolutely awful experience

Absolutely awful experience, but luckily better than others looking at previous reviews. Drop off was fairly straightforward, other than a surprise £8 extra charge which is not advertised. Pickup however was another story - called and was initially told it would be a 1hr wait, nearly 2 hours later we finally see our car being driven into the car park. After mutilple calls and being given different floors and locations with assurance someone would meet us with the key, we finally found our car dumped in a disabled space, unlocked, key on the front tyre, crashed in to the car park wall. Luckily only cosmetic bumper damage, but the company couldn't care less when we called them. Avoid these people at all costs!!

We are still waiting for someone to tell us where our car is. It was meant to be delivered to the Gatwick car park on June 14th at around midday. It’s now 18th The police are not interested and we have no tracker on the vehicle so we are waiting for someone to tell us where ipark go to park the vehicles

Lost Car Key and Found my car in a hotel car park

I regretfully used iPark Gatwick for parking during my holiday and returned yesterday.

Unfortunately, my experience was extremely poor. My car key was lost, there appeared to be no effective solution in place, and staff were consistently rude and unhelpful throughout the process and they crashed someone’s car in front of us and ran off.

I called to arrange collection of my car at 22:13.

I then went to the collection point at Car Park 6, Level 5. Upon arrival, there were already three other groups waiting for their vehicles.

One group’s car was present in the car park, but there were no staff available to provide them with their keys, resulting in their parking charges continuing to increase. Another group was in a similar situation; their vehicle was present, but the keys were missing, and their car had been left unlocked.

When I called the contact number for an update on my vehicle, I was informed that they had lost my keys and were “looking for them.” The staff member then asked me to confirm whether my car was a Citroën, which it is not. I responded that they should know what vehicle I own. His reply was, “I don’t know, I am in Heathrow, how would I know?” He stated that he would call me back within 15 minutes with an update. No call was received.

It later came to light that one group’s car, which had been parked for two weeks, had apparently not been moved since they dropped it off. A younger-looking driver arrived with their key. During this interaction, he informed them that he needed to drive the vehicle himself to resolve the parking ticket and return it to the airport. He would not allow anyone else in the vehicle and expected the customers to trust him to drive away with it. Approximately 20 minutes later, he returned with the car and a new ticket, after which the group left.

The same driver then remained in the car park for approximately 15 minutes before taking another key from his pocket and unlocking another vehicle. This appeared to belong to the second group waiting for their car. He repeated the same process with their vehicle and ticket and returned approximately 20 minutes later, allowing that group to leave after waiting for over two hours.

Following this, the driver left the car park on foot.

At approximately 00:20, two hours after my initial call, I contacted the company again for an update and was informed that they “still cannot find the key.” I asked where my vehicle was located and was told that it was at the Best Western Horley, described as the closed hotel now being used to house migrants.

I asked what solution was being offered, and I was told: “Well, you could go home in an Uber and at some point this week, once we find the key, we will drive the car to your house.” After explaining strongly that this was not an acceptable solution, I was informed that there was no alternative.

Another group waiting for their car had been told that their vehicle was only five minutes away. To be fair, the vehicle did arrive approximately five minutes later. However, it came up the car park ramp at speed, and the driver collided with the side barrier, causing damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. The driver then continued to drive the car to the customer, handed over the keys, and immediately ran out of the car park.

A further two groups arrived and waited for over an hour without receiving their vehicles.

Ultimately, I arranged for someone to bring my spare key to the airport from my home, which is over an hour away. We then travelled to the Best Western Horley in the hope that my car would actually be there.

Upon arrival, the promised “secure car park” where my vehicle was supposedly stored was, in reality, a large, unlit gravel car park behind a boarded-up hotel. After searching through approximately 300 vehicles parked there, I located my car and inspected it for damage. I was surprised and relieved to find it in the same condition in which I had left it, although it was extremely dirty due to gravel dust. Having since read other customer reviews, which I wish I had done beforehand, I consider myself fortunate to have recovered my vehicle without damage.

I eventually drove my vehicle away at 01:40.

At the time of writing, I remain without my second car key, which has still not been returned to me. I am therefore continuing to experience the consequences of this incident and remain concerned about the security implications of an unaccounted-for vehicle key being lost by the company.

The following morning, I had reported this to the police. The company stated that they were going to be offering me a £450 compensation for the lost key, which I am fully aware will not come to light!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE.
I wish I had read the reviews prior to booking with this company. I returned after 4 days away and had to wait 3 hours for my car to be returned. The key was left on the front wheel and on the wrong level for collection. There was no Valid ticket to exit the car park so I had to wait a further 2 hours arguing with the guys on the phone to get a valid ticket. I contacted the help desk via the ticket machine and my car hadn't left the car park in 4 days. I also checked my dash cam and it proved my car was moved once and never left the car park the whole time. They tried to charge me £420 to exit the car park. Absolute joke and very rude arrogant staff who came quite aggresive during the whole experience.

0 stars. Scam operator, no intent of fulfilling the service we paid for. Our car was lost for 24 hours and then once located the key was lost. We found it ourselves by following one of their drivers and found it an ungated, unsecured car park. It was left unlocked with the windows wide open and they key on the drivers seat. Disgusting behaviour from criminals. The website compare your parking is part of this company and are also criminals

Avoid at all costs. They are crooks

It seems that our experience is very similar to others. We had to wait nearly 3 hours for our car to be returned. The constantly lied about the location of our car and have failed to reply to any communication. We have contacted Trading Standards and asked the to close down this company. I also want to get a refund.

Hideous experience

Hideous experience, had some inkling when we dropped the vehicle off that this was a cowboy operation, but we waited 3.5 hours trying to contact them from midnight when we landed back, no one answering. Met at least 8 other disgruntled drivers too all hanging about on level 5 short stay car park 6. Eventually retrieved our vehicle mercifully undamaged after paying for a taxi to Best Western Hotel Horley. These people are crooks, NCP should prevent them operating on their car park as should Best Western Hotels. Gatwick Airport Authorities should be more vigilant and put warnings everywhere.

I don’t think I need to convince you…it’s extremely bad.

I don’t think I need to convince you this is the worst scam, you can see all the experiences other people have had. We waited ages to drop our car off and get our car back. Contents inside the car were stolen, I’m very frustrated now that we didn’t take a picture of the mileage because of the experience everyone else has had. Petrol looked down too.

Absolutely terrible company

Absolutely terrible company. Customer service is terrible. Turned off the phone we were told to contact when collecting our luggage. We were unable to get in contact with them to collect our car.
Tried calling the number 40+ times and when eventually I spoke to someone they were very rude and hung up on me when I asked how much longer it will be until our car is dropped back to us as we had been waiting over 2 hours.
NEVER use this company for parking in Gatwick

Absolutely terrible experience with…

Absolutely terrible experience with iPark Gatwick.

The collection of the vehicle went smoothly and was completed at the agreed time, which is the only positive aspect of the service.

On my return, I was told my car would be with me within 20 minutes. Instead, I was left waiting for over 2.5 hours with very little communication or explanation. To make matters worse, other customers were waiting even longer—some for more than 5 hours.

Several people were told that the company had their vehicles but couldn’t locate the keys. Some customers were forced to leave without their cars and make alternative arrangements.

After a long journey, the last thing anyone wants is to be stranded in a car park for hours wondering where their vehicle is. The lack of organisation, communication and customer service was shocking.

Without doubt, this was the worst airport parking experience I have ever had. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company and look elsewhere.

Park here if you want to RUIN your holiday

Booked what was supposed to be a meet & greet service. Fine going out but on return called about 20 times at the agreed and booked collection time and got no answer. When I finally got through, was told car was en route, however this was not the case. An hr in, at 1am, there were about 20 of us all stood in carpark 6 level 5 awaiting our vehicles. All of us trying to call, calls being constantly forwarded. Some people could see their cars hadn't even moved since dropping them off, they just didn't have the keys. Police were called & confirmed they were there the day before for the same reason. This company is scamming people, either leaving cars in the car park or dumping them at various hotel carparks/ scrap yards. I witnessed 4 different families pay between £350-£1000 to release their cars from NCP. NCP not interested in helping.
Took over 70 calls & 4.5 hours to get our car back. Absolute joke. Only book if you want to ruin your holiday

Do not use

Do not use!

We booked what I thought was an executive meet and greet. The nightmare started at the start when suddenly told to go to south terminal as north was out of order. Some guys said he was there for the car but we needed to pay an extra £20 on top . Then on return waited five hours and called the police . About 40 of us all in this situation - some had been there since the day before and booked into a hotel. Eventually someone has a tracker and we got a £70 uber to location. Our car wasn’t there it was at a second location which is a scrap yard miles away. It’s a scam and many people’s car never left short stay and they had hundreds racked up! Police not helpful as they had other incidents to attend to and refer you to trading standards agencies. Please please don’t book this or leave your car with them

Do not use!!!

My car was left in the short stay car park where I parked it after what was supposed to be a pick up & drop off service.

Had to pay £280 parking fee having to reclaim through trading services. Police are involved. They dump some cars in the Best Western down the road which also cost £65 to get an Uber.

DO NOT USE EVER!!!!

DO NOT USE EVER!!!!!

Us and many other people have been waiting in the 'orange car park' level 4 for the last 3/4 hours!! They had no idea where our keys were and our car had been left in the car park in the same position for 1 week with a car parking bill of £560!!! Ipark refused to pay this when we had already paid them the £93.00 meet and greet service for them to look after our car! We now have a case open with Sussex police along with the other people who were also waiting for their keys/cars. One couple had been waiting over 6 hours!!! DO NOT USE, HANDS DOWN THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!

DO NOT USE!!

DO NOT USE!!! If I could give 0 stars, I would. Dropping off the car was fine, but upon arrival a week later, we were told it would be 45-60 minutes wait. That seemed bearable so we made our way to the pick up point in short term parking. We noticed upon arrival around a dozen people already waiting. It transpired many of them were waiting for the same provider and had already been waiting 2 hours! We gathered, after talking to them, that their experience was even more worrying - one lady said she could see her car from where she was stood in Gatwick Short Term parking, and when she checked her tracking app, she realised her car had not moved in the last week!! The car had been left in short term parking (at £70 a day) for the entire week! But she couldn't access it because the company had her key. Another chap said he'd also found his car in short term parking - and it was left unlocked. Somebody else said something about a car key being left on the car tyre as handover. Several other people were trying to call the company but there was no answer. We eventually got our car back after 90 minutes of waiting but the driver clearly was trying to avoid the crowd of furious customers as he dumped it several levels below the pick up point, he just informed us of its location, then hung up and left. Guess where we found the keys... on the tyre!! We do not know what happened to those other poor customers trying to get their cars back. We consider ourselves lucky to have only waited 90 minutes and having received the car back.
