Avoid Gatwick Airport Parking – Extremely Unfair!

Their camera failed to recognise my number plate despite having a valid pre-booked reservation, leaving me to reverse onto a double red line. I was then issued a PCN, and my appeal was rejected.

How is a customer supposed to be penalised for a failure of their own system? The whole experience feels completely unfair and raises serious concerns about their practices.

Not cheap but worth every penny for the convenience and ease.

We have used Valet parking a few times

Being able to talk to an actual human being when things don’t go the way you expected whilst going through the process online. Friendly, reassuring voice on the phone to reassure you that all is well or amend things if you’ve made an error. We are not all tech savvy youngsters and so thank you Gatwick parking for keeping human beings employed to help with those round peg questions that don’t fit into automated square holes.

I used the mid stay car park and initially drove past it in the dark as it looked closed off. However once I turned around and tentatively drove in it was very good for the North Terminal. Walked through the hotel alongside straight to where EasyJet check in was. Nice and convenient

Valet Parking at Gatwick is so convenient for the North and South Terminals minimising time spent getting to the terminals.

Booking online was very straightforward. The car park is easy to find, convenient to use with a regular free airpot shuttle service. We always use this every time we fly from Gatwick and will use it again in the future. NevPeace of mind as it is the official airport parking.

Long Stay car park clearly signposted for our 03.00 arrival, shuttle bus prompt both on departure and arrival. Parking charge competitive with alternative options.

It would have been 5 stars but we had a problem exiting the car park.
After I had booked the long stay car park I changed my car so I contacted Gatwick long stay and they inputted .the new registration on the booking and copied to me, but unfortunately it did not work in practice and it took several minutes to get out of the car park.

Easy to book

Finally, a car park designed for modern cars with wide spaces and access ramps that don’t have you sweating a collision with a rail. Simple to book, fair pricing, easy to find, fast access to the terminal. Only small catch - no luggage trolleys. The future of parking, I hope.

Great experience so easy to use

Good value and safe parking. However, when we arrived in darkness in the early hours and parked in section B, we were told by a passing worker that we were in the staff car park and risked a £100 fine. We moved to section C, parked, and waited for the bus, only to discover that C was not on the bus route at that time. We hauled our luggage to the nearest stop back in B and got the bus but we could have done without the extra hassle. To cap this, another passing worker told us we could have stayed in B as it wasn’t policed!
