Easy to book online, reasonably priced and directed to empty spaces once inside the car park.
It would be better if the South terminal car park had an option to upgrade to business parking.

You keep your keys, no-one else drivers your car.
You just drive up to the barrier which opens automatically, park your car in the designated area for the day, put the keys in your pocket and catch the bus from the nearest bus stop. On your return once you land you just go to the designated bus stop to make the return to your car, remember to note the bus stop, parking area and row where you left it.

POOR SIGNAGE
Once we found the correct entry it was fine but he signage for valet parking was poor and we got in the wrong lane forcing us through the drop-off area which cost another £10..... Pick up was very straight-forward.

It was easy to park our car we had plenty of room to unload the cases and a very short walk into Gatwick North Terminal. Trolleys were near and handy for our cases. On our return it was we’ll sign posted to the car park and the directions on the card to the office to collect our keys was straight forward.

No muddy field here.......
Used the official Gatwick Parking for a week and must say it was really good. Car park is a short distance from the terminal and the bus service was very frequent and the driver helpful. Nice to know my car was secure and not parked in a field or being used as a taxi while I was away....

Unlikeable.
Literally price went up whilst checking out. By7 quid. Account or not, regular user or not they don't care about customers and always harp on about demand. In 3 minutes? Gatwick know they can do what they like and have an arrogant sense of control over customers. Such an unlikeable organisation. Oh and last week they misplaced my keys in valet. Took a while to locate. Glad someone had not driven off in my car and i was left with an old reanault. Whatever system they have is not great.

Valet Parking
Valet Parking - expensive but super convenient
This is the third time we have used valet parking and it is a lot more expensive than the park and ride options but we love the convenience of it. The car was waiting for us when we arrived back from holiday and keys were handed back with no hassle. The charge also covers the airport tariffs so there is nothing else to pay on exit of the car park.

Parking experience
Extremely easy to book and directions to parking very clear. Experience was let down by entrance barrier not recognising car number plate and hence the booking. So had to take ticket which meant exit likewise did not recognise booking and had to seek assistance to avoid being charged again.
