Highly efficient value for money

My 8th Gen iPad failed on iPadOS18.3 update.
Hung on firmware update.
Tried update again and all the recovery tips that I could find online, including using a different laptop, but, after many hours of downloads and overnight install attempts (not sure if hung or not), I had a totally useless iPad.
Called iPhone Repair Base and she said bring it in and she would see what she could do... Said it would take about an hour.
She managed to reinstall the iPadOS and it was ready for me to setup with my existing account details. She was unable to save/recover my data and apps, but no worries, at least it was working again. Same day repair too!
As I had to do the update whilst connected to my laptop as I did not have enough free memory space on the iPad, I had a backup on my laptop from just before the update failed. So, a quick setup and then restore backup and I am all back in business again and no data or apps lost.

I was researching the cost of a new iPad and probably a new case and pencil too, but I got it fixed at an incredibly reasonable rate in under a day:)

My wife's iphone had stopped working and the EE shop sold her a new phone but could not transfer the data from the old phone to the new. The iphonerepairbase lady was magical and moved all of the data over in less than two hours. Obviously the next time we have an have iphone or ipad problem we will be heading to the iphonerepairbase!

What I thought was a cracked camera cover turned out only to be a cracked screen protector. Changed in 5 minutes for 5 quid - these guys don't take you for a ride :-)

Had my phone for a while now and finally the battery would not take a charge ! So I done a search on where to get another one and you guys came up! So went along today and within 30 minutes my phone was fixed and ready to go and the price was a lot better than other places I had looked at and genuine parts used too! Took my iPhone 11pro to iPhone repair base for a screen repair (original part), a bit dubious at first (me being an old fuddy duddy) but was put at ease on my arrival, it was explained to me what they were going to do, to my astonishment 15mins later (not even that), voila new screen fitted in perfect working order with a 12 month warranty.
